The Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) is one of the most widely used techniques for image compression. Several algorithms are proposed to implement the DCT-2D. The scaled SDCT algorithm is an optimization of the DCT-1D, which consists in gathering all the multiplications at the end. In this paper, in addition to the hardware implementation on an FPGA, an extended optimization has been performed by merging the multiplications in the quantization block without having an impact on the image quality. A simplified quantization has been performed also to keep higher the performances of the all chain. Tests using MATLAB environment have shown that our proposed approach produces images with nearly the same quality of the ones obtained using the JPEG standard. FPGA-based implementations of this proposed approach is presented and compared to other state of the art techniques. The target is an an Altera Cyclone II FPGA using the Quartus synthesis tool. Results show that our approach outperforms the other ones in terms of processing-speed, used resources and power consumption. A comparison has been done between this architecture and a distributed arithmetic based architecture.  相似文献

Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), also called anionic clays, consist of cationic brucite-like layers and exchangeable interlayer anions. These hydrotalcite-like compounds, with Zn and Al in the layers and chloride in the interlayer space, were prepared following the coprecipitation method at constant pH. The effect of pH, aging time and anion concentration on the intercalation of fluorophosphate \((\hbox {PO}_{3}\hbox {F}^{2-}\), FP) in the [Zn–Al] LDH was investigated. The best crystalline material, with high exchange extent, was obtained by carrying out the exchange at 25\({^{\circ }}\hbox {C}\) in a 0.03 M FP solution at pH 7 with at least 42 h of aging time. A mechanism for the FP intercalation was confirmed by X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetry (TG) analyses (TG and DTG curves).  相似文献

This systematic literature review paper investigates the key techniques employed to identify smells in different paradigms of software engineering from object-oriented (OO) to service-oriented (SO). In this review, we want to identify commonalities and differences in the identification of smells in OO and SO systems. Our research method relies on an automatic search from the relevant digital libraries to find the studies published since January 2000 on smells until December 2017. We have conducted a pilot and author-based search that allows us to select the 78 most relevant studies after applying inclusion and exclusion criteria. We evaluated the studies based on the smell detection techniques and the evolution of different methodologies in OO and SO. Among the 78 relevant studies selected, we have identified six different studies in which linguistic source code analysis received less attention from the researchers as compared to the static source code analysis. Smells like the yo-yo problem, unnamed coupling, intensive coupling, and interface bloat received considerably less attention in the literature. We also identified a catalog of 30 smells infrequently reported for SO systems and that require further attention. Moreover, a suite of 20 smells reported for SO systems can also be detected using static source code metrics in OO. Finally, our review highlighted three major research trends that are further subdivided into 20 research patterns initiating the detection of smells toward their correction.  相似文献

Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) and phased array systems are considered a key technologies to realize the 5G communication systems. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the suggestion of a novel mm-wave Ultrawide Band (UWB) antenna design with compact and straightforward layout suitable for both MIMO and phased array systems. Hence, the designed antenna array has been studied separately as a MIMO antenna and as a phased array antenna to carefully assess the performance of each system. The single antenna design is an elliptical patch antenna where the design novelty lies in the combination of a modified inset-feed and defected ground structure to provide a large bandwidth without any compromise in the radiation performance, nor in antenna size and design simplicity. The Design process are performed using CST MWS software, where the Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 substrate is chosen to construct the antenna. A broadband characteristic of 8.7 GHz from 26 to 34.7 GHz with two resonant frequencies at 28 GHz and 33 GHz is obtained. A good radiation properties are achieved, where the gain is greater than 4.5 dB while the radiation efficiency exceeds 97% over the operating band. The MIMO and phased array antennas are made up of 12-elements of the single UWB-antenna arranged linearly along the width-edge of the smartphone mainboard. The MIMO antenna proves a high diversity performance in terms of Diversity Gain (DG), Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC), Total Active Reflection Coefficient (TARC), Channel Capacity Loss (CCL) and Mean Effective Gain (MEG), owing to the low mutual coupling less than ??20 dB, which is obtained using a separating slits between the elements. In addition, the suggested phased array provides a highly stable gain up to 15 dB over the entire bandwidth at broadside direction, besides the wide scanning range of?±?60° at 28 GHz and?±?40° at 33 GHz. Hence, the attained results assure that the suggested antenna could be appropriate for incorporation in 5G smartphones and other wireless devices and can be effectively used for both phased array and MIMO applications.

Structural properties of alkali borosilicate glasses containing iron ions were investigated using infrared, laser Raman and Mössbauer spectroscopy. Two types of glasses were prepared: SRL-type with the composition 18.5 wt% Na2O, 10.0 wt% B2O3, 52.5 wt% SiO2, 4.0 wt% Li2O, 10 wt% TiO2 and 5.0 wt% CaO, and sodium borosilicate glass with the composition 16.7 wt% Na2O, 18.7 wt% B2O3 and 64.6 wt% SiO2. Raman spectroscopy showed that orthosilicates are the dominant amorphous phase in the SRL-type of glass. Incorporation of iron in the SRL-type of glass induced polymerization of silicate units and -Si-O-Fe- copolymerization. It was concluded that different amorphous phases are simultaneously present in the SRL-type of glass containing iron ions. Interpretation of the Raman spectra is given. Incorporation of iron ions into the sodium borosilicate glass also affected the corresponding IR spectra. The valence state of iron and its coordination were determined by57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy.  相似文献
