Timely run‐time software replacement techniques are a corner stone for reconciling real‐time systems development and dynamic behavior. Typical real‐time systems do not consider dynamic behavior because it deeply challenges predictability and timeliness. Current efforts are starting to merge the safe and predictable execution with a controllable level of dynamicity by imposing a set of bounds and limitations to the system dynamic behavior. One of the obstacles for this is how to time‐bound the different operations required to effectively implement component replacement. In this paper, the main challenges for this problem are identified, and a model to ensure that components can be replaced at run time preserving the temporal properties of the system is provided that also avoids failures in replacements. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an essential fatty acid necessary for many biochemical, cellular and physiological functions in fish. However, high dietary levels of DHA increase free radical injury in sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) larvae muscle, even when vitamin E (α-tocopherol, α-TOH) is increased. Therefore, the inclusion of other nutrients with complementary antioxidant functions, such as vitamin C (ascorbic acid, vitC), could further contribute to prevent these lesions. The objective of the present study was to determine the effect of vitC inclusion (3,600?mg/kg) in high DHA (5?% DW) and α-TOH (3,000?mg/kg) microdiets (diets 5/3,000 and 5/3,000?+?vitC) in comparison to a control diet (1?% DHA DW and 1,500?mg/kg of α-TOH; diet 1/1,500) on sea bass larvae growth, survival, whole body biochemical composition and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) content, muscle morphology, skeletal deformities and antioxidant enzymes, insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) and myosin expression (MyHC). Larvae fed diet 1/1,500 showed the best performance in terms of total length, incidence of muscular lesions and ossification degree. IGFs gene expression was elevated in 5/3,000 diet larvae, suggesting an increased muscle mitogenesis that was confirmed by the increase in the mRNA copies of MyHC. vitC effectively controlled oxidative damages in muscle, increased α-TOH larval contents and reduced TBARS content and the occurrence of skull deformities. The results of the present study showed the antioxidant synergism between vitamins E and C when high contents of DHA are included in sea bass larvae diets.  相似文献

The Noosphere is a term borrowed by open‐source advocate Eric Raymond to denote the virtual world of the Internet. Fitting a new driver into the Linux kernel requires a ‘noospheric’ strategy as well as an engineering strategy, because the code is part of the open‐source development process, not its end. This article recounts the technology and the development process followed for a ‘fast and intelligent’ driver extension to the existing Linux software RAID subsystem. A blend of random ethylene‐vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and triblock styrene‐butadiene‐styrene copolymer (SBS) was dissolved in a recycled engine oil to obtain ternary thermoreversible gels. As the temperature was increased, first a network associated with EVA disappeared, and a second one associated with SBS dominated, maintaining the elastic response of the system. The principal advantage of these ternary systems is that their mechanical properties and thermal stability are better than that of binary gels. These gels, made from waste, can be used as bitumen modifiers to obtain binders of improved properties and good stability, which are useful for road surfacing.

Rhodium(I) complexes of the type, cis-[Rh(CO)2(amine)2](PF6) where (amine = 3-picoline, 2-picoline, pyridine, 2,6-lutidina or 3,5-lutidine) dissolved in 80% aqueous amine solutions catalyzed the selective reduction of 4-nitrobenzoic acid to 4-aminobenzoic acid under CO atmosphere. The importance of these catalytic systems is their high chemo selectivity for the aromatic nitro group of the 4-nitrobenzoic acid with respect to the carboxylic group, allowing the production of the desired aromatic amine in high yields. The 4-aminobenzoic acid production depends on the nature of the coordinated amine. The Rh/3,5-lutidine system, the most active catalyst among tested, displays turnover frequencies for 4-aminobenzoic acid production of about 173 moles per mole Rh per day for [Rh] = 1 × 10?4 mol, [4-nitrobenzoic acid] = 3.82 × 10?3mol, 10 mL of 80% aqueous 3,5-lutidine, P(CO) = 0.9 atm at 100 °C. Analyses of kinetic results for the Rh/3,5-lutidine system show a first order dependence on 4-nitrobenzoic acid concentration, a non-linear dependence on CO pressure, a segmented Arrhenius plot and dependence on the nature of the reducing gas agent. These data are discussed in terms of a possible mechanism.  相似文献

Polysaccharides isolated in the alcohol-insoluble residues (AIR) from cherimoya (Annona cherimola Mill.) were characterised for contents of soluble pectin, cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin, and the distribution of neutral sugars and uronides in water-soluble pectin (WSP) and water-insoluble AIR (WAIR) fractions. For WSP, the predominant neutral sugar was arabinose and, for WAIR, cellulosic glucose and xylose. Two enzyme preparations were tested for their capacity to release neutral sugars and uronides from WAIR. The optimal incubation temperature (45 °C) and the most effective preparation—rich in pectinase, cellulase and xylanase activities—were selected according to a central composite rotatable design (CCRD). Enzyme was also applied to native cherimoya purée according to another CCRD, varying the enzyme concentration and incubation time. Native purée exhibited strong shear-thinning behaviour with high, extrapolated, yield stress. During enzymatic treatment, behaviour was less shear thinning, and yield stress, consistency index and Bostwick consistency tended to decrease, giving rise to purées of different rheological properties.  相似文献

Browning susceptibility of minimally processed Baby and Romaine lettuces   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
 This study was conducted to determine the effects of cultivar, tissue susceptibility and storage temperature on the keeping quality of minimally processed Baby and Romaine lettuces. Midrib and photosynthetic tissues were lightly processed and stored for up to 7 days at 5  °C and 13  °C. Changes in L * and a * values and absorbance at 430 nm were compared. The relationship between polyphenols, phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) and polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activities and browning was examined. Measurements of L * and a * values on midribs showed that browning discoloration was the same for Baby as for Romaine lettuces and there was no relationship for temperature. In addition, L * and a * values in photosynthetic tissue indicated a decrease in green pigmentation during storage, especially at 13  °C. For both kinds of tissue at the end of cold storage an increase in soluble brown polymers was detected. In midribs, total phenolics increased significantly throughout the storage period because of the tissue-wounding response. The photosynthetic tissue had a higher phenolic content than the midrib one. For both kinds of tissue an increase in PPO activity occurred throughout cold storage. On the other hand, PAL activity in midrib tissue only increased initially, followed by a slow decline to reach normal levels. Browning potential estimated by L * values correlated significantly (P>95%) with PPO activity and with absorbance at 430 nm for Romaine lettuce. Based on colour and browning potential no differences between Romaine and Baby lettuce cultivars were observed. However, photosynthetic tissue was the most suitable tissue for the preparation of minimally processed salad mixes because of its high phenolic content. Received: 28 September 1998  相似文献
