Diazopyrene derivatives — promising modifiers for production of chemisorption fibre materials

The possibility of using diazopyrene derivatives containing carbonyl and oxime groups as substituents in production of sorption-active fibre filter materials for removing metal ions from wastewaters was demonstrated. A high degree of realization of the sorption properties of the fibre modified with diazopyrene derivatives in sorption of copper ions was established.     

Use of Azo Compounds from Colored Plant Products for Dyeing Fabrics Made of Synthetic Fibres

The possibility of chemical modification of a natural dye to dye synthetic textiles and stop use of heavy metal salts in dyeing is demonstrated.     

New polyamide chemisorption fibres containing aromatic and heterocyclic compounds units

Analytical equations describing production of polymide chemisorption fibres with functionally active units of aryl(hetaryl)carboxylic acid hydrazides were obtained by mathematical modeling. Chemical Modification of Synthetic Fibres with Complex Metal Salts with Organic Ligands

The possibility of deliberately altering the biocidal and capillary properties of a fabric by combined treatment with solutions of metal salts and low-molecular-weight organic substances with special properties — dyeing, biocidal, etc., is demonstrated.

Data on the synthesis of 19 new azo-pyrazoles which are promising for use as dyes for polycaproamide are reported. Their structure and the properties of the polycaproamide fabrics dyed with them were investigated and a correlation was established between the structure of the azo-pyrazoles and the color fastness of the fabrics in laundering, wet and dry rubbing, and exposure to light and molds.     

Study of the efficacy of new systems for reducing the combustibility of polypropylene based on polycyclic organic compounds

Incorporation of a flame retardant system (FRS) consisting of the ammonium salt of amino-trismethylenephosphonic acid and a condensed tetranuclear heterocycle — 2,7-diamino-4,9-dihydroxypyridotetrahydrophenanthrene-5,10-dione — in a polypropylene melt during spinning increases the oxygen index of the polymer, yield of carbonized residue, intensive decomposition temperature, and other parameters. The ratio of the components of the FRS and FRS content in the polymer affect these parameters.     

The Search for Promising Antioxidants and Thermostabilizers for Synthetic Fibres in a Number of Nitrogen-Containing Heterocycle Derivatives

The properties of a series of polynitrogen heterocyclic compounds of different structure were investigated as thermostabilizers for polypropylene and polycaproamide. It was found that polyheterocyclic compounds containing a condensed heterocyclic nucleus (1,2,4-triazole, thiazole, thiodiazole) and sterically-hindered phenol residue are the most promising compounds investigated.     

Bioprotective Properties of Fabric Made of Polycaproamide Treated with Inorganic and Organic Reagents

The bioprotective properties of fabric made from polycaproamide fibre successively treated with the salts of several metals and dyes with biocidal properties were investigated. It was found that the level of the bioprotective effect is due to the characteristics of the metal ion—fibre macromolecule—ligand-active dye reaction and is determined by the sequence of treatment with inorganic and organic reagents.
