Thermodynamic properties of ferrites of composition GdMIIFe2O5.5 (MII = Mg, Ca, Sr)

Ferrites with the composition GdM^IIFe₂O_5.5 (M^II = Mg, Ca, Sr) were synthesized from the corresponding oxides by the solid-phase method. The temperature dependence of the specific heat was studied by dynamic calorimetry in the temperature range 298.15 673 K. Equations describing this temperature dependence were derived. The temperature dependences of the thermodynamic functions were calculated.     

An unexpected reaction of 2-(cyclopent-2-enyl)aniline hydrochloride with dimethyldioxirane

An unusual direction of the reaction of 2-(cyclopent-2-enyl)aniline hydrochloride with dimethyldioxirane was found: the formation of two isomeric products,viz., 3- and 6-chloro-2-(cyclopent-2-enyl)anilines, was observed. Photochemical,thermal, and thermocatalytic reactions of diphenyldiazomethane with dimethyl thiophosphite

Conclusions The direct photolysis of diphenyldiazomethane in dimethyl thiophosphite gave the product of P-H insertion. The thermal reaction leads to the N-dimethoxythiophosphorylhydrazone of benzophenone and O,O-dimethyl S-(diphenylmethyl) thiophosphate. Influence of the structure of the organoaluminum compound on the stereoregulating heterogeneity of catalytic systems based on TiCl4

Synthesis of New Methanofullerenes with Phthalimide Fragment

Kinetic study of the reaction of nucleophilic cyclopropanation of C60 fullerene with halogenated maleopimarimide

The kinetics of nucleophilic fullerene cyclopropanation by halomethyl ketones with a diterpene fragment has been studied by the Bingel method, and the influence of the biologically active cyclopropanating agent on the process has been estimated. It has been revealed that favorable conditions for carrying out the reaction result in maximum monofunctionalized methanofullerenes formation with the maximum yield.

Diazoalkanes in the Reactions with Dialkyl (Thio)-Phosphites

Abstract

The photochemical, thermo-catalytical and thermal reactions of diazoalkanes with dialkyl (thio)phosphites were studied.

Thus, the photolysis of dimethyldiazomalonate and methyl-diazoacetate with dialkyl(thio)phosphites gives P-H insertion products only upon triplet-sensitized conditions (i), whereas diphenyldiazomethane gives P-H insertion products upon direct photolysis as well (ii). The investigation of 31 the reaction mechanism is based on CIDNP ³¹P method. The catalytical reactions (iii) are a convenient method of preparing (thio)phosphonates.     

New monomers for fullerene-containing polymers

By reaction of 2-(acryloyloxyethyl) and (undecen-10-en-1-yl) methylmalonates with fullerene C₆₀ in the system toluene-CBr₄-DBU, and also by reaction of 2-(2,2-dichloroacetoxy)ethyl acrylate with C₆₀ in the system toluene-DBU the corresponding products of fullerene monocyclopropanation were synthesized.
