This paper proves that: Let / be an entire function of finite order λon Cn. Then(1) , where k(X) is a nonnegative constant depending only on A;(2) If (a, f) = 1, then A is a positive integer and equals the lower order of /.     

On theorems of Gelfond and Selberg concerning integral-valued entire functions

For each sN define the constant θ_s with the following properties: if an entire function g(z) of type t(g)<θ_s satisfies then g is a polynomial; conversely, for any δ>0 there exists an entire transcendental function g(z) satisfying the display conditin and t(g)<θ_s+δ. The result θ₁=log2 is known due to Hardy and Pólya. We provide the upper bound θ_sπs/3 and improve earlier lower bounds due to Gelfond (1929) and Selberg (1941).

There exists a set S with 3 elements such that if f is a non-constant entire function satisfying E(S,f)=E(S,f′), then f≡f′. The number 3 is best possible. The proof uses the theory of normal families in an essential way.     

Entire functions sharing one small function CM with their shifts and difference operators

In this article, we mainly devote to proving uniqueness results for entire functions sharing one small function CM with their shift and difference operator simultaneously. Let f(z) be a nonconstant entire function of finite order, c be a nonzero finite complex constant,and n be a positive integer. If f(z), f(z + c), and ?_c~n f(z) share 0 CM, then f(z + c) ≡ Af(z),where A(= 0) is a complex constant. Moreover, let a(z), b(z)( ≡ 0) ∈ S(f) be periodic entire functions with period c and if f(z)-a(z), f(z + c)-a(z), ?_c~n f(z)-b(z) share 0 CM, then f(z + c) ≡ f(z).

Entire functions sharing one polynomial with their derivatives

In this paper, we study the growth of solutions of ak-th order linear differential equation and that of a k + 1-th order linear differential equation. From this we affirmatively answer a uniqueness question concerning a conjecture given by Brück in 1996 under the restriction of the hyper order less than 1/2, and obtain some uniqueness theorems of a nonconstant entire function and its derivative sharing a finite nonzero complex number CM. The results in this paper also improve some known results. Some examples are provided to show that the results in this paper are best possible.

本文研究一类高阶整函数系数微分方程的增长性问题，当存在某个系数对方程的解的性质起主要支配作用时，得到了齐次与非齐次方程解的超级的精确估计及方程的解与小函数的关系。
