This paper presents an evaluation of thermal comfort in an extended road trial study. Automobile seats play an important role in improving the thermal comfort. In the assessment of thermal comfort in autos, in general subjective and objective measurements are used. Testing on the road is very difficult but real traffic conditions affect the comfort level directly, as well as the driver's experience to real conditions. Thus, for such cases real traffic situations should not be neglected in the evaluation of comfort. The aim of this study was to carry out, on an extended road trial study, an evaluation of thermal comfort using human subjects. In the experiments used, the 100% polyester seat cover had three different cover materials, which were velvet, jacquard and micro fiber. All experiments were carried out on a sunny day with ten participants over 1h. They were carried out at air temperatures of 25 degrees C in a Fiat Marea 2004, which had an automatic climate function. Skin temperature at eight points and skin wettedness at two points on the human body were measured during the trials. Participants were required to complete a questionnaire of 15 questions, every 5 min. It can be concluded that there was negligible difference in participants' reported thermal sensation between the three seats. According to objective measurement results, all seat cover materials have the same degree of thermal comfort. On the road the participants feel warmer around their waist than any other area of the body. It was suggested that the effects of real traffic conditions must be accounted for in comfort predictions.  相似文献

根据室内热环境人体舒适性具有的不绝对、模糊的特点,研制出了一种多变量模糊舒适度评价仪表.仪表以室内空气的温度、相对湿度、流速为输入变量,以模糊综合评判方法为原理,以ADμC812单片机为硬件电路核心,给出了各影响因素的权重系数及各语言变量语言值的化分,对于温度、相对湿度影响因素具有耦合关系问题,通过不同温度区间采用不同的权重系数及不同的语言值的化分的方法解决,能够实现数据采集,运算合成及解耦合,得出评价结论的功能,实验结果表明:该仪表具有较高的可信度,是对室内热环境舒适性作出评价的一种有效工具。  相似文献

This paper describes a combined theoretical and experimental study of thermal comfort during the heating period inside an automobile. To investigate the effects of thermal conditions on the human physiology and thermal comfort during the heating period, temperature, humidity and air velocity were measured at a number of points inside the automobile, so thermal conditions were accurately determined. The human body was divided into 16 sedentary segments, and the change of temperature was observed both experimentally and theoretically. During transient conditions of the heating period, heat and mass transfer between the human body and the interior environment of an automobile were simulated by a computational model, and predictions were compared with the measured data. It is shown that there is a good agreement between the model predictions and experimental results. By means of the present model, the effects of the fast transient conditions of the heating period on the sensible and latent heat transfer from the body, body segments skin temperatures and thermal sensation were investigated in detail.  相似文献

Helicopter crew and passengers flying over cold water wear immersion suits to provide hypothermic protection in case of ditching in cold water. The suits and linings have trapped air in the material to provide the necessary insulation and are thus very buoyant. By paradox, this buoyancy may be too much for a survivor to overcome in escaping from the cabin of a rapidly sinking inverted helicopter.

The Canadian General Standard Board requested that research be conducted to investigate what should be the maximum inherent buoyancy in an immersion suit that would not inhibit escape, yet would provide adequate thermal insulation. This experiment reports on 12 subjects who safely escaped with 146N (33 lbf) of added buoyancy from a helicopter underwater escape trainer. It discusses the logic for and recommendation that the inherent buoyancy in a helicopter crew/passenger immersion suit system should not exceed this figure.  相似文献

Thirty-nine males and 18 females, in six groups, participated in six high altitude treks (each lasting 3–4 weeks and climbing up to 5500 m) in the Himalaya and Karakoram. Inverse relationships between mean overnight total insulation (sleeping bag plus clothing) and air temperature in tents were recorded for all treks. Average overnight thermal sensations varied little with air temperature as the subjects modified their clothing insulation to maintain thermal sensations warmer than ‘neutral’ for all treks. For combined treks, subjects adjusted their mean overnight total insulation up to 7 clo for thermal sensations of between 0 (‘neutral’) and +1 (‘slightly warm’) on average, measured on the standard seven-point thermal sensation scale developed for everyday low-altitude conditions. Very few subjects (3% of all daily responses, on average) reported ‘cool’ or ‘cold’ sensations. General tent discomfort increased with altitude suggesting that subjects interpreted tent comfort predominantly in terms of thermal outdoor conditions.  相似文献

进行了夏季屋顶绿化对室内热环境影响的实验研究,结果表明:室内空气和维护结构内表面温度均有不同程度的降低,这是有利的;然而房间的相对湿度升高了,这是不利的;综合效果是人感到热改善为基本能接受;当热环境要求高时,仅靠屋顶绿化一个手段还达不到令人满意的效果,还必须采用其它手段比如夜间开窗通风,利用电风扇使室内产生一定的风速以及空调等的综合作用。  相似文献
