On the synthesis of metadata tags for HTML files

RDFa, JSON-LD, Microdata, and Microformats allow to endow the data in HTML files with metadata tags that help software agents understand them. Unluckily, there are many HTML files that do not have any metadata tags, which has motivated many authors to work on proposals to synthesize them. But they have some problems: the authors either provide an overall picture of their designs without too many details on the techniques behind the scenes or focus on the techniques but do not describe the design of the software systems that support them; many of them cannot deal with data that are encoded using semistructured formats like forms, listings, or tables; and the few proposals that can work on tables can deal with horizontal listings only. In this article, we describe the design of a system that overcomes the previous limitations using a novel embedding approach that has proven to outperform four state-of-the-art techniques on a repository with randomly selected HTML files from 40 different sites. According to our experimental analysis, our proposal can achieve an F₁ score that outperforms the others by 10.14% ; this difference was confirmed to be statistically significant at the standard confidence level.

Whiteboard: Synchronism,accessibility, protagonism and collective authorship for human diversity on Web 2.0

The Whiteboard is a synchronous and collaborative tool projected in line with the accessibility principals and universal design, whose objective is to increase the knowledge socialization and promote the real-time decision making. Aspects resulting from the Culture of Collaboration and Participation are discussed to delineate the Web 2.0, a perspective that will be concrete only with the guarantee of everybody’s participation, specially the participation of people with diverse needs. This article considers the implications of the Whiteboard functions and discusses about the validation processes performed with real users in relation to the possible resources that are available to increase individual and collective authorship, to promote the virtual learning cycle and impel practices that value the human diversity.     

基于Android的电话号码查询系统设计

介绍了Android操作系统,以及基于Android的电话查询系统的关键技术,对该系统的具体设计与部分实现过程进行了阐述,给出了系统运行结果。经测试,该系统能在目前主流的Android移动设备如手机、平板电脑上正常运行,该系统立足于常用生活电话信息查询,为生活服务提供了方便。     

Research on HTML5 application cache poison attack

HTML5 application cache (AppCache) allowed Web browser to access Web offline.But it also brought a new method of cache poisoning attack that was more persisting.As for websites which used the AppCache,a novel poisoning method RFTM (replace file twice method),in which the attacker replaced the manifest file twice to poison the client’s AppCache,was proposed.Compared with the original attack,the legal server would not receive abnormal HTTP requests from the client in the attack.Therefore,changing the server configuration could not prevent the client from the RFTM AppCache poisoning.To avoid the attack mentioned above,a lightweight signature defense scheme Sec-Cache in application layer was designed.Furthermore,experiments show that it has good performance and compatibility.

基于GeoJSON和HTML5 Canvas的WebGIS应用研究

信息管理系统或者监控系统,有时需要运用地理信息系统的部分功能,而建立一套完整的GIS系统需要较大的资金和技术投入。文章基于HTML5 Canvas技术,分析了GeoJSON的数据结构,实现了地图数据在Web平台上的应用,其具有跨平台、轻量和响应快的特点。     

一种AJAX结合CGI的嵌入式瘦Web服务器的研究

针对AJAX与CGI的嵌入式瘦Web服务器软件结构,产生的HTML文件不易于维护和更新的问题,提出了建立一个AJAX处理机制结合CGI程序的嵌入式Web服务器软件结构.应用AJAX处理机制实现了客户端校验和客户端处理,以及无刷新访问服务器端资源.实现后的嵌入式Web服务器降低了嵌入式Web服务器开销的同时,使得页面文件易于维护和更新,是一种既降低成本又易于维护和更新页面文件的网络服务器设计方法.
