Integrating research on human body shapes with studies of health cues in food package design, this research explores how food packages resembling humanoid shapes impact consumers’ evaluation of food healthiness. Adopting a self-referencing perspective, two studies show that packages resembling slim humanoid shapes lead to foods being evaluated as healthier, especially with female consumers whose bodily characteristics mark them as being not thin. Study 1 uses packages designed to mimic humanoid body shapes and shows that slimness effects depend on consumer gender and body mass index (BMI): The heuristic that slim packages contain more healthy foods is more pronounced with women and increasing BMI. Study 2 replicates these findings and offers process evidence for self-referencing as a mediator of the package slimness – healthiness evaluation. Together the findings highlight package shape as an important cue to food healthiness evaluation and aid marketers and designers in better matching packages to target audiences and products.  相似文献

In this paper, permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) are investigated. According to the feature of PMSMs, a novel state equation of PMSMs is obtained by choosing suitable state variables. Based on the state equation, robust controllers are designed via interval matrix and PI control idea. In terms of bilinear matrix inequations, sufficient conditions for the existence of the robust controller are derived. In order to reduce the conservation and the dependence on parameter, the control inputs of PMSMs are divided into two parts, a feedforward control input and a feedback control input, and relevant sufficient conditions for the existence of the controller are obtained. Because of the suitable choice of state variables, the proposed control strategies can cope with the load uncertainty and have robustness for disturbance. Finally, simulations are carried out via Matlab/Simulink soft to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategies. The performance of the proposed control strategies are demonstrated by the simulation results.   相似文献

基于2014年中国劳动力动态调查数据,运用描述性分析、Logistic回归模型,探究了社区游憩设施密度对居民BMI的影响。研究发现社区游憩设施密度对城乡居民的BMI存在影响差异,游憩设施中的健身设施密度的增加可以显著降低城市居民的超重或肥胖几率,而对乡村居民并无显著作用,影响乡村居民BMI的关键因素是其收入水平。城乡居民的健康意识以及经济发展水平差异,造成了个体健康方面的差异。研究结果将对我国城乡社区规划具有一定的指导意义。  相似文献

This study investigated the effect of hunger on consumers’ visual attention during a food choice task, and the role of time orientation (i.e., present and future orientation) in this interplay. A lab-based eye-tracking experiment including 102 participants was conducted, with hunger as the manipulated factor (hungry, satiated). Participants in the satiated condition were served a breakfast buffet before the experimental tasks, whereas participants in the hungry condition were served the buffet after completion of the tasks. Both groups were exposed to a set of planograms depicting supermarket shelves and were asked to choose an option they could consider buying, while their eye movements were recorded. Stimuli included non-food items as well as the key category of interest, Swedish crisp bread. After completion of the eye-tracking recordings, participants indicated their time orientation as well as their height and weight, which were used to calculate body mass index (BMI). The results revealed that hunger (vs. satiation) increased participants’ present orientation and visual attention towards bread, but decreased their future orientation, with participants’ present orientation mediating the effect of hunger on visual attention. Additional exploratory analyses revealed a positive correlation between participants’ BMI and their present orientation. Taken together, the results offer several fruitful avenues for future research, which may be used to promote public health. Moreover, the findings contribute to the literature by documenting that hungry individuals do not necessarily make more rapid decisions in drive-relevant domains; rather, they may actually devote a larger share of their attentional resources in the food domain, given their desire to acquire food.  相似文献

Cracking and wear induced by fretting is a critical problem for industrial composite structures. Thermosetting bismaleimide resin is a promising material due to its good mechanical and thermal properties. The effect of temperature regarding fretting cracking and fretting wear is presently investigated. The temperature effect on crack initiation and propagation is quantified combining experiments and modelling. The fretting wear is explained using a friction energy wear approach. A bilinear evolution of wear volume versus the dissipated energy is identified and related to a protective third body layer. These various damage evolutions are compared to the viscoelastic properties of the polymer.  相似文献

利用Lectra三维人体扫描仪对50名20~25岁的中国女性进行扫描,采集人体数据和3-D图像,邀请19名中国女性和21名中国男性参照3-D图像对青年女性人体进行评级,获得代表人体美丽程度的吸引力等级。根据人体数据和吸引力等级对腰臀比、体质指数、体积身高指数及其他人体美的评价指标进行分析,结果显示腰臀比、体质指数、体积身高指数适用于评价中国女性人体美,但是最佳值不同于以往结论。研究表明:人体纤细度是影响女性人体吸引力的首要因素,其次是人体曲线度,人体纵向比例也是重要指标;当体密度差异较大时,体积身高指数比体质指数能更准确地判断人体吸引力;男性与女性对女性人体美的审美认知一致,但是男性对人体美的要求明显高于女性。  相似文献

BMI为基本组分,将原位复合材料用于BMI树脂的增韧,制备了BMI原位复合材料即RSM/PIO/BMI体系。详细研究了RSM/MIO/BMI未固化体系的反应性和固化树脂的力学性能、耐热性,用扫描电镜对固化树脂的断口形貌进行分析。结果表明,固化树脂宏观上呈现半透明状,微观上具有微纤维结构存在于基体聚合物中,正是由于这种特殊的增韧相结构的存在,导致改性RSM/PIO/BMI体系具有良好的抗冲击性能,冲击强度为17.6kJ/m^2。  相似文献
