Fabrication of a bilayer HfO2/single-crystal LiNbO3 film is demonstrated using deep high-energy He+ implantation in a LiNbO3 wafer, followed by HfO2 atomic layer deposition, and, then, selective etching exfoliation from the bulk LiNbO3 crystal. The properties and morphology of these exfoliated bilayer films are characterized using a set of thin-film probes. Pre-exfoliation film patterning and one model application, in surface-refractive-index tuning of guided waves in a free-standing LiNbO3 film, are also demonstrated.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of locating two straight and parallel road edges in images that are acquired from a stationary millimeter-wave radar platform positioned near ground-level. A fast, robust, and completely data-driven Bayesian solution to this problem is developed, and it has applications in automotive vision enhancement. The method employed in this paper makes use of a deformable template model of the expected road edges, a two-parameter log-normal model of the ground-level millimeter-wave (GLEM) radar imaging process, a maximum a posteriori (MAP) formulation of the straight edge detection problem, and a Monte Carlo algorithm to maximize the posterior density. Experimental results are presented by applying the method on GLEM radar images of actual roads. The performance of the method is assessed against ground truth for a variety of road scenes  相似文献

Stress intensity, K, values for 18 Ni 1800 MPa maraging steel stressed to 90% of its K IC level and exposed to water, hydraulic oil (servo 317) and water inhibited with 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2% dichromate (pH about 7.5) for various durations were determined using the modified wedge opening loading (WOL) technique. Experiments revealed that there is no appreciable deterioration in K in oil and water inhibited with 1.5% and 2% dichromate even after 25 days exposure. The threshold stress intensity is reached after 15 days in 0.5% dichromate inhibited water at 40 MPa m1/2. Stress corrosion crack growth rate in water is about 40 times the rate in hydraulic oil. Crack path characteristics of the WOL-tested maraging steel specimens in different environments are briefly mentioned.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the inverse problem for a mixed Liénard-type nonlinear oscillator equation \({\ddot{x}+f(x)\dot{x}^2+g(x)\dot{x}+h(x)=0}\), where \({f(x), g(x)}\) and h(x) are arbitrary functions of x. Very recently, we have reported the Lie point symmetries of this equation. By exploiting the interconnection between Jacobi last multiplier, Lie point symmetries and Prelle–Singer procedure, we construct a time-independent integral for the case exhibiting maximal symmetry from which we identify the associated conservative nonstandard Lagrangian and Hamiltonian functions. The classical dynamics of the nonlinear oscillator is also discussed, and certain special properties including isochronous oscillations are brought out.  相似文献

ABSTRACT The objective of this paper is to explore the nature and development of nonmaterial networks within establishments across the entire manufacturing sector in Japan. We generate coproduction indexes for different commodities in the Japanese economy, which enable us to recognize three types of nonmaterial linkages: technical, market and vertical. Predictably, the level of nonmaterial linkages is greater in more knowledge intensive industries. We observe that the evolution of these networks in the decade 1975 85 among the different manufacturing sectors parallels the evolution of the knowledge levels in the Japanese labor force towards higher levels of embodied knowledge.  相似文献

The existing knowledge based on the physical characteristics of rubber-based seismic isolators and the validity of assumptions involved in design can be strengthened with shake table tests and field monitoring during earthquakes. Existing structures can be retrofitted with seismic isolators and successful examples are coming up day by day. This paper presents the results of analytical and experimental investigations of a one-third scaled model of a reinforced concrete soft first-storied structure mounted on natural rubber-based isolators and subjected to uniaxial seismic motion. Translational and rocking responses of the scaled model were measured under four different synthetic time histories, covering a wide range of frequencies. Through base isolation, the time period of the horizontal mode is far removed from the peak spectrum but the rocking modes may well be entrapped in the peak region. Hence, a simplified fail-safe system for protection against overturning was also studied.  相似文献
