A series of ethynyl-terminated aromatic imide monomers containing phosphine oxide in the backbone were synthesized by the reaction of tris(3-aminophenyl) phosphine oxide (TAP) or bis(3-aminophenyl)methyl phosphine oxide (BAP) with pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) or 3, 3′,4, 4′-benzophenone tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (BTDA) or 4, 4′-perfluoroisopropylidenebis(phthalic anhydride), and 3-ethynyl aniline. Structural characterization was done by infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Thermal characterization was done by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis. The decomposition temperatures of cured resins were above 500°C in nitrogen atmosphere. Char yield at 800°C ranged from 52–63.5%. 相似文献
A novel ether connected epoxy star like polymer was synthesized by selective reaction of water soluble polyhydroxy fullerene (fullerenol) with a commercial grade cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (CY-230, Ciba Geigy) in heterogeneous medium at ambient alkaline condition using tetrabutylammonium hydroxide as phase transfer catalyst. The reaction went well in such conditions and the hydroxy groups of fullerenol underwent selective nucleophilic addition reaction with polar carbonyl groups of the epoxy resin with the formation of a hemiketal. The progress of the reaction was monitored by FTIR analysis of the product formed. The disappearance of characteristic FTIR bands of fullerenol (at 1593.2, 1381.2, and 1068 cm−1) and the typical carbonyl peak (at 1725 cm−1) of parent epoxy resin and also changes of broad hydroxy peak (at 3431 cm−1) of fullerenol into a sharp peak (at 3396.6 cm−1, indicating reduced hydrophilicity) in the reaction product clearly demonstrated the chemical attachment of the epoxy units to the fullerene core. Multiple epoxy units (about 8-10) were attached to fullerene core. Non-reactivity of fullerenol towards DGEBA epoxy resin (LY 556 Ciba Geigy) in similar conditions further supports our result. The thermal properties of the product were influenced by the presence of fullerenol and exhibits higher thermal stability compared to parent epoxy. A probable reaction mechanism for the reaction has also been discussed. 相似文献
Service Oriented Architecture with underlying technologies like web services and web service orchestration opens new vistas for integration among business processes operating in heterogeneous environments. However, such dynamic collaborations require a highly secure environment at each respective business partner site. Existing web services standards address the issue of security only on the service provider platform. The partner platforms to which sensitive information is released have till now been neglected. Remote Attestation is a relatively new field of research which enables an authorized party to verify that a trusted environment actually exists on a partner platform. To incorporate this novel concept in to the web services realm, a new mechanism called WS-Attestation has been proposed. This mechanism provides a structural paradigm upon which more fine-grained solutions can be built. In this paper, we present a novel framework, Behavioral Attestation for Web Services, in which XACML is built on top of WS-Attestation in order to enable more flexible remote attestation at the web services level. We propose a new type of XACML policy called XACML behavior policy, which defines the expected behavior of a partner platform. Existing web service standards are used to incorporate remote attestation at the web services level and a prototype is presented, which implements XACML behavior policy using low-level attestation techniques. 相似文献
Memristors are electric components that emulate the memory and computational properties of biological synapses by remembering the current that flows through them. Here, for the first time, the memristive properties of geopolymers, inexpensive ceramic materials manufactured at room temperature from alkaline activation of amorphous aluminosilicate precursors, are presented. It is demonstrated that geopolymers present all the fingerprints of memristors, and a physics-based model is proposed, which demonstrates that electroosmosis in the bulk geopolymer pores induces ion channels that foster change in the overall conductance of the bulk material, contributing to the observed memristive behavior. This model opens the door to a new category of porous electroosmosis-based bulk memristors. Synaptic functions such as short-term plasticity and long-term plasticity, as well as endurance and retention capabilities are also demonstrated. The reported findings pave the way to the use of geopolymers for low-cost applications in neuromorphic computing. 相似文献

In communication industry one of the most rapidly growing area is wireless technology and its applications. The efficient access to radio spectrum is a requirement to make this communication feasible for the users that are running multimedia applications and establishing real-time connections on an already overcrowded spectrum. In recent times cognitive radios (CR) are becoming the prime candidates for improved utilization of available spectrum. The unlicensed secondary users share the spectrum with primary licensed user in such manners that the interference at the primary user does not increase from a predefined threshold. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to address the power control problem for CR networks. The proposed solution models the wireless system with a non-cooperative game, in which each player maximize its utility in a competitive environment. The simulation results shows that the proposed algorithm improves the performance of the network in terms of high SINR and low power consumption.
Ball end magnetorheological finishing is a unique process that utilizes a magnetically controlled ball of polishing fluid at the tip of the rotating tool to finish workpiece of different materials and shapes. The aim of this research is to study the effect of polishing fluid volume on finishing spot size and the surface finish associated with it. A magnetostatic simulation is done to find the variation of flux density in the working gap and on the workpiece surface. The maximum limit of the polishing fluid volume is selected on the basis of area of threshold magnetic flux density (minimum value required for finishing) region on the workpiece surface. The surface characteristics and the diameter of the finished spot are analyzed by varying the fluid volume. The surface obtained with high fluid volume is poorly finished and has scratch marks as the excess fluid flows out from the working gap and forms a thick ring at the periphery of the tool tip. Contrary to this, if the fluid volume is too less, then it merely rotates over the workpiece surface without causing any finishing action. An optimum range of fluid volume produces a good quality surface finish with constant finished spot size. 相似文献
