21世纪计算机网络已经成为人们广泛使用的工具。通过计算机网络,人们可以进行网络控制、信息交换等。本文介绍一种基于NiosII处理器的嵌入式Web服务器的设计方法。系统在Cyclone系列1C20F400C7芯片上,采用软核处理器NiosII来配置核心处理器。NiosII核是用户可随时配置和构建的32位指令集和数据通道的嵌入式系统微处理器IP核,网络协议采用LWIP,这是一种专门针对嵌入式系统应用而设计的网络通信协议,接口芯片使用LAN9C111。本文基于NiosII的嵌入式Web服务器能够达到预期的效果,用户可以通过IE浏览器浏览存储在FLASH芯片中的网页,由于CPU本身是以软核的方式实现,其功能可根据需要进行定制,非常灵活。     

A study on the temperature dependence of epoxy/BaTiO<Subscript>3</Subscript> composite embedded capacitor films

In this study, the temperature dependence of capacitance, one of the most important properties of embedded capacitor films (ECFs), was investigated. The temperature dependence of the capacitance of ECFs was determined by the temperature dependence of the dielectric constant and thickness, and among these, the main factor was the dielectric constant of ECFs. The dielectric constant of ECFs was determined by that of epoxy and BaTiO₃ powders. Below 130°C, the dielectric constant of ECFs increased as temperature increased, and was mainly affected by an epoxy matrix. However, above 130°C (the Curie temperature of BaTiO₃), the increased rate of the dielectric constant of ECFs started decreasing. This was due to the fact that BaTiO₃ powder undergoes a phase transition from a tetragonal to a cubic structure, and its dielectric constant decreases at 130°C. The dielectric constant of BaTiO₃ powder was obtained from measured dielectric constants of ECF and application of the Lichtenecker logarithmic rule.

Micromechanical response of fibre-reinforced materials using the boundary element technique

The boundary element method (BEM) and the embedded cell approach (ECA) have been used to analyse the effects of constituent material properties and fibre spatial distribution on the localised behaviour of a transversely loaded, unidirectional fibre-reinforced composite. The geometrical structures examined were perfectly periodic, uniformly spaced fibre arrangements in square and hexagonal embedded cells and 10 cells in which 60 fibres were randomly placed within the matrix. The models involve both elastic fibres and matrix, with the interfaces between the different phases being fully bonded. The results indicate that both the fibre packing and the material properties of the constituent phases have a significant effect on the overall stress distribution and the magnitude of localised stress concentrations within a composite. Non-periodic arrangements give rise to higher local stresses, and the magnitudes of these stress concentrations have a strong dependence on the ligament length (distance between the two neighbouring fibres that have a common high-stress region), and to a lesser extent on the angle relative to the applied load (angle between a plane containing the two fibre centres and the applied load). Furthermore, analysis of a three-phase composite, comprised of a mixture of both stiff and compliant fibres, had higher stress concentrations than the equivalent two-phase composites.     

Transient hole formation during the growth of thin metal oxide layers

Using a quinternary variable charge molecular dynamics simulation technique, we have discovered a transient hole formation phenomenon during oxidation of thin aluminum layers on Ni₆₅Co₂₀Fe₁₅ substrates. Holes were found to first develop and expand at the earliest stage of the oxidation. These holes then shrank and finally disappeared as oxidation further proceeded. Thermodynamic analysis of the hole healing indicated that it is accompanied by a significant decrease in system potential energy. This suggests that the effect is largely driven by thermodynamics and is less related to the flux shadowing or kinetically introduced island coalescence. The simulations provide insights for the growth of dielectric tunnel barrier layers with reduced layer thicknesses.
