Raman spectroscopy was used to study the structure of two samples of poly(p-phenylene) (PP) and related oligomers. The ratio of the intensities of the bands at 1600 and 1280 cm–1 increases linearly with extension of the chain and may be used for characterization of these macromolecules. Quinoid forms were found for heat-treated samples of PP and dodecaphenyl. The cross sections of the e + e ?→π+π?π +π?, e + e ?→π+π?π0π 0, and e + e ?→ωπ→ π+π?π 0π0 processes, as well as the e + e ?→π+π?π0π0 process with subtracted contribution of the ωπ intermediate state, are measured in experiments with a spherical neutral detector on the VEPP-2M collider in the energy range 0.98–1.38 GeV. About 41 000 events of the e + e ?→π+π?π+π ? process and more than 54 000 events of the e + e ?→π+π ?π0π0 process have been selected in experiment. The statistical error in determining the cross section is 2–20%, while the systematic error is 7 and 8%.  相似文献

1.  We have investigated the resonance Raman spectra of polyene -dimethylaminocarbonyl compounds and we have measured the absolute differential cross sections (ADC's) of the resonance Raman scattering at the maximum of the long-wavelength absorption band.
2.  A polyene with two identical groups in the and positions (or with two groups with identical electronegativity) has the same resonance Raman ADC as the unsubstituted compound with the same effective number of conjugated double bonds, but introduction of groups with sharply different electronegativity into the and positions leads to significant decrease in the resonance Raman ADC.

In the energy range from 1.05 to 1.38 GeV, the upper limits for the cross sections of e + e ?f 0(600)γ, f 0(980)γ, f 0(1350)γ, and f 2(1270)γ → π0π0γ processes have been established. Measurements are performed in accordance with the statistics gathered in experiment with a spherical neutral detector (SND) on the VEPP-2M e + e ? collider. The resultant upper limits vary from 6 to 42 pb depending on the energy and the model.  相似文献

The influence of donor and acceptor substituents at chain termini on the geometry of the chain and charge distribution on atoms was studied for the ground and lower triplet electronically excited state of model ω-dimethylaminopolyene molecules (CH3)2N(CH=CH) n CH=C(CN)2, n = 1–3. Calculations were performed by the B3LYP/6-31+G** method. The influence of substituents on bond lengths and the amplitude of deviations from the equilibrium carbon-carbon bond length in unsubstituted polyenes increased as the conjugation chain grew longer. The deviations of the effects of both donor and acceptor groups from additivity, however, decreased. In the lower triplet electronically excited state of the molecule, the effect of substituents on changes in C-C bond lengths along the chain was not damped. The section of the potential energy surface for intramolecular proton shift from the donor amino to the acceptor nitrile group in “cyclic” (cis) conformers of the H2N-CH=CH-CN and H2N-CH=CH-CH=CH-CN molecules was analyzed. The structure of the reaction transition state and the height of the barrier to proton transfer were calculated.  相似文献

The e + e ? → ω, ρ → π0 e + e ? processes have been investigated in the experiments with Spherical Neutral Detector at the VEPP-2M e + e ? collider. The measurements provide the probability ?(ω → π0 e + e ?) = (0.761 ± 0.053 ± 0.064) × 10?3 of the ω → π0 e + e g- conversion decay and the upper limit ?(ρ → π0 e + e ?) < 1.2 × 10?5 (at 90% CL) for the ρ → π0 e + e ? decay. The transition form factor was measured at three values of the 4-momentum transfer squared.  相似文献
