In this paper the testability of modified-Booth array multipliers for standard cells based design environments is examined for first time. In such cases the structure of the cells may be unknown, thus Cell Fault Model (CFM) is adopted. Two C-testable designs are proposed. A design for an N x × Ny bits modified-Booth multiplier, which uses ripple carry addition at the last stage of the multiplication, is first proposed. The design requires the addition of only one extra primary input and 38 test vectors with respect to CFM. A second C-testable design is given using carry lookahead addition at the last stage which is the case of practical implementations of modified-Booth multipliers. Such a C-testable design using carry lookahead addition is for first time proposed in the open literature. This second design requires the addition of 4 extra primary inputs. One-level and two-levels carry lookahead adders, are considered. The C-testable design requires 61 test vectors for the former and 73 test vectors for the latter, respectively. The hardware and delay overheads imposed by both C-testable designs are very small and decrease when the size of the multiplier increases.  相似文献

Approximate closed‐form expression is derived for the scattering from dipole arrays based on the equivalent circuit theory. Then, a method is proposed for synthesis of dipole arrays to produce desired scattering pattern using genetic algorithm (GA). In the synthesis method, the element positions in an array are considered as the optimization parameter and the derived expression is used to evaluate the fitness function of GA. To assess the validity and efficiency of the proposed method, several linear dipole arrays are designed to obtain scattering pattern with low sidelobe level (SLL). A good agreement between the patterns calculated using the expression and simulated by FEKO validates the accuracy of the presented expression. In addition, the numerical results show that the maximum SLL of the scattering pattern is considerably reduced by optimization. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel monopulse antenna for a tracking radar system is proposed using the time modulated antenna array technique. The time modulation technique applied in the antenna arrays overcomes the usual need for compromise between sum and difference beams and avoids the need for implementation of two separate feed networks. The time modulated antenna array also relaxes the error tolerance of the tracking accuracy from the amplitude and phase errors, due to the new design freedom of “time” which can be controlled precisely and quickly. Moreover, the position of the target can be recovered by two reflected echoes from one previously transmitted pulse, thus the tracking errors resulting from the excitation errors and receiver noise in conventional antenna arrays can be greatly alleviated. Numerical results show that with the aid of time modulation technique, one sum beam and two difference beams can be simultaneously obtained either for the boresight or off‐boresight target tracking. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Well-aligned zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowire arrays were fabricated on gold-coated plastic substrates using a low-temperature aqueous chemical growth (ACG) method. The ZnO nanowire arrays with 50–130 nm diameters and ∼1 μm in lengths were used in an enzyme-based urea sensor through immobilization of the enzyme urease that was found to be sensitive to urea concentrations from 0.1 mM to 100 mM. Two linear sensitivity regions were observed when the electrochemical responses (EMF) of the sensors were plotted vs. the logarithmic concentration range of urea from 0.1 mM to 100 mM. The proposed sensor showed a sensitivity of 52.8 mV/decade for 0.1–40 mM urea and a fast response time less than 4 s was achieved with good selectivity, reproducibility and negligible response to common interferents such as ascorbic acid and uric acid, glucose, K+ and Na+ ions.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation by exploiting the sparsity enforced recovery technique for co-prime arrays, which can increase the degrees of freedom. To apply the sparsity based technique, the discretization of the potential DOA range is required and every target must fall on the predefined grid. Off-grid target can highly deteriorate the recovery performance. To the end, this paper takes the off-grid DOAs into account and reformulates the sparse recovery problem with unknown grid offset vector. By introducing a convex function majorizing the given objective function, an iterative approach is developed to gradually amend the offset vector to achieve final DOA estimation. Numerical simulations are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of detection ability, resolution ability and root mean squared estimation error, as compared to the other state-of-the-art methods.  相似文献

Block sorting in the Burrows-Wheeler transformation is to sort all of the n circular shifts of a string of length n lexicographically. 为解决单边带调制方法因在载波调制技术中难以实现而不被广泛应用的问题,对单边带调制方法进行了研究,提出了基于Hilbert正交变换的单边带调制算法,以及该算法的FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Arrays)实现。建立了Matlab的系统分析模型,采用DSP Builder设计了单边带调制程序,并通过Modelsim对该程序进行了仿真,得到了理想的单边带调制的波形。仿真结果表明,100阶有限冲击响应滤波器可以理想地逼近Hil-bert变换器。该算法共占用了15%的FPGA系统资源,有效降低了使用成本,并且在声频定向扬声器中获得了实际应用。  相似文献

CuFe2O4 nanotube arrays with different outer diameters were synthesized in anodic aluminum oxide templates through sol-gel techniques followed by heating treatment processes. The morphology of the nanotube arrays was investigated by field emission scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscopy, suggesting that the nanotube arrays are ordered and uniform. The X-ray diffraction results indicate that the crystal structure of the nanotube arrays is polycrystalline with a spinel-type structure. The measurements of magnetic properties indicate that CuFe2O4 nanotube arrays with outer diameter of 200 nm exhibit magnetic anisotropy with easy magnetization direction along the axis of nanotubes.  相似文献
