It is shown that steady-state kinetic data do not allow the discrimination between the redox and associated mechanisms of the partial oxidation reactions. A discrimination between these mechanisms was performed using transient experiments. The obtained rate expressions are in agreement with experimental kinetic data for catalytic partial oxidation of o-xylene.
An influence of the conjugate oxidation of a catalyst surface on dynamics and kinetics of the heterogeneous catalytic oxidative reactions is considered. Computing simulation of methane oxidative coupling of methane reaction at lowered temperature and elevated pressure has been performed. It showed that the reaction order with respect to oxygen exceeding unity is consistent with the chain branching mechanism of the reaction in the presence of TiSi2 and TiB2 and showed the important role of the branching chain cycles in the low-temperature OCM reaction at elevated pressure. 相似文献

兰州石化公司以加工新疆原油为主,重油收率高,平均在37%左右,所生产的重油主要靠催化裂化装置来加工,多余部分以低附加值重油出厂。随着涩宁兰天然气工程的逐渐建成,低附加值重油出厂将受到严重威胁,因此,催化裂化装置加工重油显得尤为重要。兰州石化公司炼油厂1.2Mt/a重催装置通过采用先进技术进行改造,使重油掺炼比由41.52%提高到52.20%,提高了10.68个百分点,年多加工重油14.95万t,产品收率达到79.20%以上,能够灵活调节产品结构,创造了良好的经济效益。 相似文献

The action mechanism for aggressive and highly pure media on fluoropolymer constructional elements is assumed to consist of two basic microeffects: destructive changes in the fluoropolymer and contamination of the environment. Our approach to a quantitative estimation of the physicochemical stability is based on logic similar to that of a thermodynamic model of a two‐component system. A fluoropolymer and changes in its microstructure are considered the first component of the system. The second component is composed of liquid media contaminated with fluoroorganic compounds extracted from the fluoropolymer. The proposed methods for delivering aggressive and highly pure fluids to consumers allow the exclusion of pollution from working areas with gaseous products through an exception to a number of intermediate stages of product transport. The discussed principles allow the creation of a modern, highly effective, and safe (with respect to the ecology and raw materials) production of aggressive liquid chemicals for consumers. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Samples were prepared by addition of a fluorinated poly(aryl ether ketone) (12F-PEK) to a commercial epoxy resin and curing
at either 24 °C or 70 °C. The concentrations of fluoropolymer in the samples were 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50%. Phase inversion
facilitates the formation of more and more smooth surfaces for scratch testing with increasing fluoropolymer concentration.
A progressively increasing load from 0.03 N to 12 N was administered with a diamond tip to the surfaces of the samples; depths
were determined within ±7.5 nm. The original scratch depth is a function of the fluoropolymer concentration. Scratch recovery
(healing) reaches values up to 95%. Plots of the residual depth versus concentration of the fluoropolymer at 4, 6, 8, and
10 N reveal minima for all forces and both temperatures. Addition of only 5% or 10% 12F-PEK improves the scratch recovery
significantly. The results are explained by changes of material morphology with the fluoropolymer concentration.

Extracted and unextracted black cherry (Prunus serotina), red oak (Quercus rubra), and red pine (Pinus resinosa) wood specimens were exposed to artificial weathering, and their discoloration process was investigated to obtain basic understanding on the role of wood extractives in the weathering of hardwoods and softwoods. Color measurements were made with a spectrometer according to ISO 2470 standards, using the CIELAB system. Results obtained showed that the rate of whiteness was not significantly affected by extractives removed with organic solvents, but were significantly affected when organic solvent extraction was followed by water extraction. The total discoloration rate had the same pattern, and chromaticity coordinates were less affected by wood extractives. These results confirm the hypothesis that some extractives contained in wood act as antioxidants and are able to provide some protection to wood surfaces against weathering degradation. However, more work is needed to understand the chemistry and mechanism of action of these extractives so as to develop any practical use for this property. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
