The FeCO3 layer evolution process for API 5L X52 carbon steel in CO2-saturated NaCl brine in the presence of 1-decyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ionic liquid was characterized using electrochemical techniques. Four layer-formation stages were described: active-adsorption, porous layer, compact layer-formation, and the compact layer state. The ionic liquid slowed the layering process by influencing both crystal precipitation and structural changes. Two models were developed to account for the interfacial evolution: the first model considered the balance of positive and negative charges at the interface of the metal and electrolyte in blank solution, while the second one considered the layer coverage and evolution with the imidazolium compound. 相似文献

The crystal and electronic structures of D8l-V5SiB2 and D88-V5Si3B ternary compounds have been investigated by means of first principle calculations. The calculated structural parameters are in very good agreement with the experimental data. The calculated values of the enthalpies of formation at T = 0 K of the D8l-V5SiB2 and D88-V5Si3B ternary compounds are −67.1 and −62.1 kJ/mol of atoms respectively. The total and partial electronic densities of states show a strong hybridization between the B p states and V d states. The defect enthalpies of formation as well as the mixing enthalpies have been computed. These data are essential for the modeling of the D8l and D88 phases in the V–Si–B ternary system. A partial V–VSi2–VB isothermal section at 298 K is proposed. 相似文献

In this study, corrosion behaviors of carbon steel C1010 in the presence of an acidophilic, iron-oxidizing bacterial species Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans were examined. Results showed that A. ferrooxidans cells, with or without attaching to C1010 steel, accelerated its corrosion at a rate of 3–6× those of acidic water, at a pH of 2, without cells. A. ferrooxidans oxidized Fe2+ to Fe3+ as an energy source and the produced Fe3+ rapidly oxidized Fe0 to Fe2+ was proposed and verified as the reason. In addition, severe pitting corrosion was found on the C1010 steel surface in solutions containing A. ferrooxidans cells. 相似文献

This work aims at investigating the corrosion protection effectiveness of multifunctional epoxy coatings modified with pigments such as ceramic nanocontainers loaded with corrosion inhibitor, chloride and water traps, applied on AA2024-T3. Characterizations on the morphology, composition and structure of the coatings were conducted. The corrosion resistance was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, localized electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and scanning vibrating electrode technique. The mechanical behaviour of the coatings was examined through nanoindentation and nanoscratching tests. Electrochemical and nanomechanical testing results, evidenced the improvement of the corrosion protective properties and mechanical behaviour of the coatings in the presence of the various pigments. 相似文献

An exact free vibration analysis of doubly-curved laminated composite shallow shells has been carried out by combining the dynamic stiffness method (DSM) and a higher order shear deformation theory (HSDT). In essence, the HSDT has been exploited to develop first the dynamic stiffness (DS) element matrix and then the global DS matrix of composite cylindrical and spherical shallow shell structures by assembling the individual DS elements. As an essential prerequisite, Hamilton’s principle is used to derive the governing differential equations and the related natural boundary conditions. The equations are solved symbolically in an exact sense and the DS matrix is formulated by imposing the natural boundary conditions in algebraic form. The Wittrick–Williams algorithm is used as a solution technique to compute the eigenvalues of the overall DS matrix. The effect of several parameters such as boundary conditions, orthotropic ratio, length-to-thickness ratio, radius-to-length ratio and stacking sequence on the natural frequencies and mode shapes is investigated in details. Two zinc ferrite nanoparticle materials were prepared by the same method – soft mechanochemical synthesis, but starting from different powder mixtures: (1) Zn(OH)2/α-Fe2O3 and (2) Zn(OH)2/Fe(OH)3. In both cases a single phase system was obtained after 18 h of milling. The progress of the synthesis was controlled by X-ray diffractometry (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, TEM and magnetic measurements. Analysis of the XRD patterns by Rietveld refinement allowed determination of the cation inversion degree for both obtained single phase ZnFe2O4 samples. The sample obtained from mixture (1) has the cation inversion degree 0.3482 and the sample obtained from mixture (2) 0.400. Magnetization measurements were confirmed that the degrees of the inversion were well estimated. Comparison with published data shows that used method of synthesis gives nano powder samples with extremely high values of saturation magnetizations: sample (1) 78.3 emu g−1 and sample (2) 91.5 emu g−1 at T = 4.5 K. 相似文献

In this paper, Ohmic-like contact on n-type GaSb with on/off-current ratio of 1.64 is presented, which is formed at 500 °C by inserting IGZO between metal (Ni) and GaSb. The resulting Ohmic contact is systematically investigated by TOF-SIMS, HSC chemistry simulation, XPS, TEM, AFM, and J–V measurements. Two main factors contributing to the Ohmic contact formation are (1) InSb (or InGaSb) with narrow energy bandgap (providing low electron and hole barrier heights) formed by In diffusion from IGZO and Sb released by Ga oxidation, and (2) free Sb working as traps that induces tunneling current. 相似文献

The response of prestress secondary reactions in the post-elastic range has been a topic of much controversy. Due to the brittleness of FRP (fiber reinforced polymer) composites, external FRP tendon members may have different moment redistribution characteristics compared to conventional concrete members. This paper presents a numerical investigation into the secondary reactions and moment redistribution in prestressed concrete continuous members with external CFRP tendons. The investigation parameters include the initial prestress level and the pattern of loading. The secondary reactions are computed using a newly developed method based on the linear transformation concept combined with a nonlinear finite element analysis. The results indicate that the secondary reactions increase quicker after concrete cracking and nonprestressed steel yielding. As a consequence, the secondary moment should be included in the design moment. The moment redistribution behavior for symmetrical loading is shown to be quite different from that for unsymmetrical loading. The study also shows that the effect of initial prestress on the moment redistribution is rather important. 相似文献
