A general variance predictor for Cavalieri slices

A general variance predictor is presented for a Cavalieri design with slices of an arbitrary thickness t ≥ 0. So far, prediction formulae have been available either for measurement functions with smoothness constant q = 0, 1, … , and t ≥ 0, or for fractional q ∈ [0, 1] with t = 0. Because the possibility of using a fractional q adds flexibility to the variance prediction, we have extended the latter for any q ∈ [0, 1] and t ≥ 0. Empirical checks with previously published human brain data suggest an improved performance of the new prediction formula with respect to the hitherto available ones.     

Index of critical points in rational l-approximation

This article is concerned with the l²-approximation of a given transfer function f by a rational one whose order is prescribed. We show that the sum of the indices of the critical points of the criterion is generically equal to 1, and in particular does not depend on f.

探讨了催化裂化过程降低汽油烯烃的反应原理，研究了催化剂各组分对裂化汽油性质影响的规律性，围绕提高氢转移活性，提出制备降烯烃裂化催化剂的技术路线，并研制开发了新型LBO-12降烯烃催化剂，固定流化床反应器对中试样品的评价和工业应用结果表明，该催化剂在不损失汽油辛烷值的前提下，降低催化裂化汽油烯烃能力较强，并具有较高的水热活性稳定性和良好的抗重金属污染特性。

Water and salt permeability of reinforcement polymer‐gel composite membrane

The charged mosaic polymer membrane (CMM) without reinforcement and the composite charged mosaic polymer membrane (CCMM) with reinforcement were investigated in terms of salt and water transport (permeability). The composite charged mosaic polymer membrane (CCMM) with reinforcement showed a unique transport behavior such as preferential material transport L_p and ω. Water permeability coefficient, L_p and salt permeability coefficient, ω were estimated by taking account of active layer thickness of composite polymer gel. The L_p and ω values of CCMM with reinforcement were larger than those of CMM without reinforcement. On the other hand, the reflection coefficient of CCMM, σ, showed negative value, which suggested preferential material transport to solvent transport. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Plasticity of feature-based selection in triple-conjunction search.

Two experiments examined the disruption of feature-based selection in triple-conjunction search at multiple target transfers. In Experiment 1, after 10 training sessions, a new target possessing previous distractor features was introduced. This produced disruption in RT and fixation number, but no disruption in feature-based selection. Specifically, there was a tendency to fixate objects sharing the target's contrast polarity and shape and this did not change even upon transfer to the new target. In Experiment 2, 30 training sessions were provided with three target transfers. At the first transfer, the results replicated Experiment 1. Subsequent transfers did not produce disruption on any measure. These findings are discussed in terms of strength theory, Guided Search, rule-based approaches to perceptual learning, and the area activation model. 数字分量电视图像的光纤传输实验

介绍了光纤传输数字电视的意义，电视信号分量数字化的标准和优点。利用自行研制的２７０Ｍｂ／ｓ光发射机和光接收机，建立了分量数字电视信号的光纤传输系统，直接传输了１００ｋｍ光纤，系统传输无误码，传输后图像质量不变。光接收机灵敏度达－２９．２４ｄＢｍ，动态范围为１３．５ｄＢ。无压缩电视图像的传输对于远程医疗和演播室间转输节目等有非常实际的意义。     

强韧包装纸板用落叶松半化学浆的研究

主要研究一种可以替代传统硫酸盐化学木浆，来生产强韧包装纸板或瓦楞纸箱箱板纸的落叶松碱性亚硫酸盐－蒽醌半化学浆。这种采用碱性亚硫酸盐添加蒽醌助剂的制浆方法研制的落叶松半化学浆，当纸浆得率为５６．９％时，在低打浆度情况下纸浆强度性能可以达到我国２号未漂硫酸盐化学木浆的标准，而且有可能达到１号未漂硫酸盐化学木浆的标准，纸浆得率比落叶松硫酸盐木浆得率实际指标（４３％）绝对值提高１３％以上。用于制作强韧包装纸板或瓦楞纸箱箱板纸的落叶松碱性亚硫酸盐－蒽醌半化学浆，蒸煮终点宜于控制在得率约６２％、卡伯值１００左右。
