基于对电力调度特点的分析,通过整体数据规划,设计安徽电力中心调度所管理信息系统的应用体系结构和主题数据库,采用Intranet和数据仓库等技术进行系统开发与集成,取得了较好的实用效果。     

Monotonic complements for independent data warehouses

Views over databases have regained attention in the context of data warehouses, which are seen as materialized views. In this setting, efficient view maintenance is an important issue, for which the notion of self-maintainability has been identified as desirable. In this paper, we extend the concept of self-maintainability to (query and update) independence within a formal framework, where independence with respect to arbitrary given sets of queries and updates over the sources can be guaranteed. To this end we establish an intuitively appealing connection between warehouse independence and view complements. Moreover, we study special kinds of complements, namely monotonic complements, and show how to compute minimal ones in the presence of keys and foreign keys in the underlying databases. Taking advantage of these complements, an algorithmic approach is proposed for the specification of independent warehouses with respect to given sets of queries and updates. Incremental View Maintenance for Mobile Databases

In a mobile environment, querying a database at a stationary server from a mobile client is expensive due to the limited bandwidth of a wireless channel and the instability of the wireless network. We address this problem by maintaining a materialized view in a mobile client's local storage. Such a materialized view can be considered as a data warehouse. The materialized view contains results of common queries in which the mobile client is interested. In this paper, we address the view update problem for maintaining the consistency between a materialized view at a mobile client and the database server. The content of a materialized view could become incoherent with that at the database server when the content of the database server and/or when the location of the client is changed. Existing view update mechanisms are ‘push-based’. The server is responsible for notifying all clients whose views might be affected by the changes in database or the mobility of the client. This is not appropriate in a mobile environment due to the frequent wireless channel disconnection. Furthermore, it is not easy for a server to keep track of client movements to update individual client location-dependent views. We propose a ‘pull-based’ approach that allows a materialized view to be updated at a client in an incremental manner, requiring a client to request changes to its view from the server. 现代IT与第四代GIS软件

就现代计算机软件技术发展的若干方面进行了回顾和分析,结合GIS软件在这些方面的实现进行了讨论,特别就GIS软件在空间数据的分布式计算,空间数据,属性数据的一体化查询与操作,空间数据挖掘等方面进行了比较深入的分析,指出目前GIS实现技术存在的不足及其原因,主要表现在空间数据模型的组织和存储技术不完善,缺乏完整空间关系描述框架,以及空间数据与其他数据联系不够紧密等方面。提出了解决这些问题的技术突破方向,是要改变以图层为基础的空间数据存储和操作模式,建立空间同步的数据操作机制,实现空间数据修改的UNIX语义,要研究空间数据与属性数据一体化查询语言,提出空间数据的操纵能力,等等。     

基于多维数组的数据仓库及OWB分析

本文首先介绍基于多维数组的数据仓库集成工具OWB,然后对多维数组管理工具OracleExpress进行分析,最后提出一些数据仓库应用的建议。

电信企业为了适应激烈的市场竞争,纷纷建立了以历史数据为基础的知识性决策系统─经营分析系统。该文以某地区移动公司网络综合分析系统为实例,从用户需求分析、数据仓库规划、数据转换等三个方面进行描述,说明怎样将数据仓库技术应用于一个大型的网络资源管理项目。

分析了数据仓库的特点,并根据钢铁销售统计系统的业务需求给出了其系统结构和数据仓库模型,以交货单为中心,前续包括合同和订单,后续包括结算,以及收发存和库存帐龄,最后指出了其关键技术及实现方法,为管理层在销售决策上提供有力支持。     

基于医药连锁销售的决策支持系统设计

在原企业管理信息系统基础上,为充分利用日益增长的海量数据,针对其在决策支持方面的不足,提出了一种基于数据仓库、联机分析处理和数据挖掘三项技术的销售决策支持系统。讨论了系统总体结构,对系统数据仓库、多维数据集和数据挖掘模型进行了设计分析。
