Consumption of basic foods, state of health and physical work capacity of middle school students

Actual nutrition, health state and physical working capacity were studied in schoolchildren of three age groups after intake of the polyvitamin "Undevitum" during a month. The results of the investigation conducted have shown that prophylactic measures produced a positive effect on the schoolchildren aged from 11 to 13 and from 14 to 17 years who received 1 degree of "Undevitum" daily. No positive effect was recorded in schoolchildren aged 7-10 years who received 1 degree of "undevitum"/day, every other day.     

Effects of the preparation Undevit on the indicators of vitamin provision of Norilsk's schoolchildren]

The effect of the prophylactic use of multivitamin "Undevitum" on parameters of vitamin providing of schoolchildren in Norilsk was studied. The results of the investigation showed a positive effect of the prophylactic vitamin administration on providing with vitamins of schoolchildren in Norilsk and proved the necessity of conducting mass vitamin administration to schoolchildren.     

Effect of a vitamin complex with mineral substances on blood coagulation in rats when administered by different methods and in experimental hypercoagulation

Experiments conducted on white rats have evidenced that a single injection of a complex of vitamins with mineral substances ("Complivit") in doses similar to the therapeutic induces a short-term hupocoagulemia, which is reproduced during long-term administration. The animals tolerance to thromboplastin is significantly increased in the period of hypocoagulemia. It is suggested that the complex can produce a favourable effect in cases with hypercoagulemia.     

Enteral feeding of patients with surgical diseases of the digestive tract using the Soviet balanced food mixture Inpitan

"Inpitan" is the first Soviet full-value balanced food mixture for tube feeding, produced under industrial conditions. It was used for enteral nutrition of 50 patients with different diseases of the upper gastro-intestinal tract. The mixture contains protein (12%), fat (30%), carbohydrates (58%), all the necessary mineral substances, and water- and fat-soluble vitamins. Depending on the clinical situation the patients received 2000-3200 ml of the mixture/day. The use of "Inpitan" with the energy density of 1 kcal/ml as the only source of nutrition during 7-75 days has demonstrated its high nutritious effectiveness. When the mixture was introduced directly into the small intestine according to the authors' schedule, no dyspeptic symptoms (eructation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, meteorism, diarrhea) were recorded, dipsosis and the sense of starvation disappeared, the body weight increased, biochemical parameters returned to normal, the time of the preoperational preparation was significantly reduced, the post-operational complications were better managed.     

Determination of erythroid variants of human leukemias using monoclonal antibodies

Expression of erythroid antigens identifying with the use of monoclonal antibodies (mab) HAE3 and HAE9 was studied in 333 patients with different types of hemoblastoses. Frequency of erythroid variants based on the reaction with mab was 5.7%. In 2.4% of cases erythroid markers were the only indication on the nature of leukemia. In 2.7% of cases the types of leukemia were accounted for as "mixed" ones, i.e. erythrolymphoid and erythromyeloid variants. Only in 0.6% of cases erythroid variant was detected by the morphological criteria.     

Differential–Algebraic Equations and Dynamic Systems on Manifolds

The authors consider current problems of the modern theory of dynamic systems on manifolds, which are actively developing. A brief review of such trends in the theory of dynamic systems is given. The results of the algebra of dual numbers, quaternionic algebras, biquaternions (dual quaternions), and their application to the analysis of infinitesimal neighborhoods and infinitesimal deformations of manifolds (schemes) are presented. The theory of differential–algebraic equations over the field of real numbers and their dynamics, as well as elements of trajectory optimization of respective dynamic systems, are outlined. On the basis of connection in bundles, the theory of differential–algebraic equations is extended to algebraic manifolds and schemes over arbitrary fields and schemes, respectively.     

Multidimensional analogs of the kendall equation for priority queueing systems: computational aspects

An analogy between celebrated Kendall equation for busy periods in the system M|GI|1 and analytical results for busy periods in the priority systemsM _r |GI _r |1 is drawn. These results can be viewed as generalizations of the functional Kendall equation. The methodology and algorithms of numerical solution of recurrent functional equations which appear in the analysis of such queueing systems are developed. The efficiency of the algorithms is achieved by acceleration of the numerical procedure of solving the classical Kendall equation. An algorithm of calculation of the system workload coefficient calculation is given.
