The experimental determination of the Sternheimer antishielding factor gamma(infinity) for Ca2+ in a sold material is reported for the first time. The gamma(infinity) value was obtained by comparing the quadrupole frequency measured by 43Ca NMR with the electric field gradient calculated in a frame of the point charge approximation in the high-Tc superconducting compound, Tl0.5Pb0.5Sr2CaCu2O7. The deduced value (gamma(infinity)= -6.1+/-.9) is about one-third of that obtained from the quantum mechanical calculations, whereas in the same sample, the gamma(infinity)value for O2- deduced by the same procedure (gamma(infinity)= -13.7+/-2.0) is very close to the calculated one.  相似文献

The complex NMR study of the magnetic structure of LiCu2O2 multiferroic has been performed. It has been shown that the spin spirals in LiCu2O2 are beyond the ab, bc, and ac crystallographic planes. The external magnetic field applied along the c axis of the crystal does not change the spatial orientation of spirals in Cu2+ chains. A magnetic field of H 0 = 94 kOe applied along the a and b axes rotates the planes of spin spirals in chains, tending to orient the normal n of spirals along the external magnetic field. The rotation angle of the planes of the magnetic moments are maximal at H 0 ?? b.  相似文献

Energy spectra of subiron (Sc---Cr) and iron nuclei in the range 40–210 MeV/n have been measured and subiron to iron abundance ratio was determined from a study of a polyethyleneterephthalate (Lavsan) detector exposed in 1984–1985 during a year on the Salyut-7 space station. The ratio measured is 0.9 in the energy range 170–210 MeV/n that confirms previous data. The value differs from that 0.4-0.5 measured in interplanetary space. The ratio is 0.45 in the range 40–110 MeV/n. The peculiarities observed are discussed.  相似文献

The NMR spectra of 63Cu and 65Cu natural copper isotopes in a LiCu2O2 multiferroic single crystal compound have been measured above and below the temperature of magnetic phase transition (T c = 23 K) in zero magnetic field and in applied magnetic field H 0 = 94 kOe parallel to the c axis of the crystal. In LiCu2O2 below T c, a complicated helical magnetic structure with the magnetic moment of copper ions Cu2+ varying along the chain according to the harmonic law with the wave vector being incommensurate to the crystal lattice constants has been revealed. The experimental results have been successfully interpreted using the model based on the planar helical magnetic structure. It has been found that the plane of rotation for Cu2+ magnetic moments in LiCu2O2 does not coincide at H 0 = 0 with the ab plane. The high magnetic field (H 0 = 94 kOe) applied along the c axis of the single crystal does not affect the spatial orientation of the plane of rotation.  相似文献

We investigated changes in the bulk electro-physical properties of crucibleless silicon after repeated annealing at 1100°C both with and without a tungsten film on the surface. We observed much less change in the resistivity of samples with tungsten films than in those with no films. We observed a significant (about a factor of 10) reduction in the photoresponse decay time, and an increase in the spectral band in which there is a photocurrent as compared with the uncoated samples. The photoconductivity as a function of temperature exhibits a power-law dependence, with β1=(1.75±0.06) and β2=(0.20±0.03) for coated and uncoated samples. The change in the relaxation time of the stationary photoconductivity of coated samples is a nonmonotonic function of the intensity of the uniform illumination. Engineering Physics Institute, Moscow. We have studied the influence of isotopic disorder on the local deformations in Ge single crystals from both experimental and calculation points of view. The nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of73Ge nuclei (the nuclear spin equals 9/2) in perfect single crystals of germanium with different isotopic content were measured at temperatures 80, 300 and 450 K. Abnormal broadening of the spectrum was found to occur when the magnetic field was aligned along the [111] axis of a crystal. The observed specific angular dependence of the quadrupole broadening was attributed to isotopic disorder among atoms of germanium sited around the73Ge NMR probe. Local lattice deformations in germanium crystal lattice due to isotopic impurity atoms were calculated in the framework of the adiabatic bond charge model. The results obtained were applied to study random noncubic crystal field interactions with the nuclear quadrupole moments and corresponding effects in NMR spectra. Simulated second and fourth moments of resonance frequency distributions caused by the magnetic dipole-dipole and electric quadrupole interactions are used to analyze the lineshapes, theoretical predictions agree qualitatively with the experimental data.  相似文献

The EPR of Mn ions in the (La1?yPry)0.7Ca0.3MnO3 system has been studied within a broad range of temperatures (4<T<600 K) and Pr concentrations (0≤y≤1), as well as under isotope substitution of 18O for 16O. All compositions were shown to undergo transitions to a magnetically ordered state with decreasing temperature. Magnetic phase diagrams were constructed for systems with different oxygen isotopes. The diagrams include paramagnetic, ferromagnetic, and antiferromagnetic regions. In the paramagnetic region, at temperatures not too close to the phase transition points, the Mn ion linewidth ΔH pp (T) is related to the magnetic susceptibility χ(T) through the relation ΔH pp (T) = [χ0/χ(T)]ΔH pp (∞) + ΔH0, where ΔH pp (∞) is the width of the exchange-narrowed line in the high-temperature approximation, χ0 ∝ 1/T is the susceptibility of noninteracting ions, and ΔH0 is the residual width originating from the sample porosity and resonance-field scatter in unoriented grains of a powder sample. An analysis of the data on ΔH pp (∞), ΔH0, and χ(T) made it possible to estimate the symmetric and antisymmetric exchange interaction of Mn ions and of the noncubic crystal-field component of the oxygen ions. These parameters were found to be independent of the oxygen isotope species to within experimental error.  相似文献
