In Inkubationsversuchen wurde das Mineralisierungsverhalten von Ernte‐und Wurzelrückständen (EWR) der auch als Industriepflanzen verwendeten Pflanzenarten Winterraps, Sonnenblume, Öllein, Miscanthus und Sachalinknöterich im Vergleich zu Winterweizen in Abhängigkeit vom Vegetationsstadium und der Bodentemperatur untersucht. Zwischen den Pflanzenarten, ihren Teilen und den Vegetationsstadien bestanden teilweise signifikante Unterschiede in der Mineralisierung. Von dem Pflanzenmaterial in der generativen Phase verblieben nach einer Inkubation von 70 Tagen unter optimalen Bedingungen (25°C, 60% WKmax) 55–70% der eingebrachten C‐Menge im Boden. Intermittierende Temperaturen (Wechsel 10 °C/25 °C) bewirkten eine geringere Mineralisierung, nur 28–34% des Pflanzenmaterials wurden umgesetzt.  相似文献

Application of foliar iron (Fe) sprays is a common means of correcting Fe deficiency of agricultural crops. However, variable plant responses to iron sprays, ranging from no effect to defoliation, have often been described in the Fe-fertilization literature. Knowledge is still limited concerning the mechanisms of penetration of a leaf-applied, Fe-containing solution and the role of Fe in the leaf. The complex and multi-disciplinary character of the factors determining the effects of Fe sprays hinder the development of suitable foliar fertilization strategies, applicable under variable local conditions and for different plant types. This review describes some key factors involved on the process of penetration of a leaf-applied, Fe-containing solution before briefly analyzing the available foliar Fe-fertilization literature. Iron chemistry, leaf penetration, and plant-nutrition principles will be merged with the aim of clarifying the constraints, opportunities, and future perspectives of foliar Fe sprays to cure plant Fe deficiency.  相似文献

A subset of the Solanum pimpinellifolium collection maintained by AVRDC—The World Vegetable Center, Taiwan was evaluated to assess effects of salt stress on physiological traits and yield-related traits with the aim of identifying potential S. pimpinellifolium accessions useful for salt tolerance breeding in tomato. We undertook a comparative analysis of yield and plant survival traits under normal and salt stress conditions to obtain a first indication of the crucial traits associated with salt tolerance in S. pimpinellifolium. Although most traits of S. pimpinellifolium accessions showed a similar percent decrease in mean under salt stress compared with the cultivated checks, the former exhibited a wide range for all traits, suggesting great genetic diversity that can be exploited for the identification of salt tolerant genotypes. Genetic variability for yield and survival traits under salt stress was quantitative with low to moderate heritability. Results of correlation and path coefficient analysis revealed no correlation between any of the physiological traits with yield-related traits indicating that the ability to survive and yield under salt stress are two independent sets of traits in S. pimpinellifolium. Results of the path analysis along with heritability and genetic advance showed that shoot dry weight and K/Na ratio are the two most critical component traits for survival, while fruit number is critical for yield per plant. The large S. pimpinellifolium panel evaluated in this study revealed five genotypes possessing better survival traits, seven genotypes with good yield traits, and two genotypes combining both superior survival and yield traits under salt stress.  相似文献

Parthenote embryos are being considered as an alternative source of embryonic stem cells. However, as there is still a dearth of knowledge of this kind of embryos, a better understanding of their biology is needed for their application. In this work, we studied the differences and similarities between parthenotes and normal embryos at the blastocyst stage in vivo developed. We analysed the expression of factor OCT‐4, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), insulin‐like growth factor I (IGF‐I) and uteroglobin (UG) by real‐time PCR. To do so, oocytes were recovered and after activation procedure were transferred by ventral middle laparoscopy to receptive does to undergo completely in vivo development. Does were slaughtered 6 days post‐ovulation induction, and parthenote and normal embryos were recovered for mRNA expression analysis. Our results reported that parthenotes and normal embryos showed similar mRNA expression for OCT‐4 and VEGF. However, IGF‐I and UG showed to be over‐expressed in parthenote embryos. Thus, our study highlights that despite the in vivo development of parthenotes, they still seem to have an altered expression and, therefore, to be different to normal embryos. The altered expression pattern of parthenote embryos suggests that these embryos should be studied carefully before future application.  相似文献

Seafloor diking-eruptive events represent the irreducible, quantum events of upper oceanic crustal accretion. They record events by which a large portion of the oceanic crust has formed through geological history. Since 1993, the U.S. Navy's real-time Sound Surveillance System has allowed location of ongoing acoustic signatures of dike emplacement and basalt eruptions at ridge crests in the northeast Pacific. These diking-eruptive events trigger a sequence of related, rapidly evolving physical, chemical, and biological processes. Magmatic volatiles released during these events may provide nutrients for communities of subseafloor microorganisms, some of which thrive in high-temperature anaerobic environments. Many of the organisms identified from these systems are Archaea. If microorganisms can thrive in the water-saturated pores and cracks within deep, volcanically active portions of our planet, other hydrothermally active planets may harbor similar life forms.  相似文献

Near the Mantle Electromagnetic and Tomography (MELT) Experiment, seamounts form and off-axis lava flows occur in a zone that extends farther to the west of the East Pacific Rise than to the east, indicating a broad, asymmetric region of melt production. More seamounts, slower subsidence, and less dense mantle on the western flank suggest transport of hotter mantle toward the axis from the west. Variations in axial ridge shape, axial magma chamber continuity, off-axis volcanism, and apparent mantle density indicate that upwelling is probably faster and more melt is produced beneath 17 degrees15'S than beneath 15 degrees55'S. Recent volcanism occurs above mantle with the lowest seismic velocities.  相似文献

The formation of a Bose-Einstein condensate of a dilute atomic gas has been studied in situ with a nondestructive, time-resolved imaging technique. Sodium atoms were evaporatively cooled close to the onset of Bose-Einstein condensation and then suddenly quenched to below the transition temperature. The subsequent equilibration and condensate formation showed a slow onset distinctly different from simple relaxation. This behavior provided evidence for the process of bosonic stimulation, or coherent matter-wave amplification, crucial to the concept of an atom laser.  相似文献
