This paper presents a new set of boundary integral equations for three dimensional acoustic shape sensitivity analysis based on the direct differentiation method. A linear combination of the derived equations is used to avoid the fictitious eigenfrequency problem associated with the conventional boundary integral equation method when solving exterior acoustic problems. The strongly singular and hypersingular boundary integrals contained in the equations are evaluated as the Cauchy principal values and Hadamard finite parts for constant element discretization without using any regularization technique in this study. The present boundary integral equations are more efficient to use than the usual ones based on any other singularity subtraction technique and can be applied to the fast multipole boundary element method more readily and efficiently. The effectiveness and accuracy of the present equations are demonstrated through some numerical examples.  相似文献

Numerical simulations of detailed time‐dependent behavior are performed on a simulation model in which a coupled system of nonequilibrium disk MHD generator and line‐commutated inverter is connected to an infinite bus through the transmission line, showing that continuous operation of the system is usually possible even when a power line fault occurs near the system. Then, time‐dependent swing simulations are carried out on another simulation model in which the MHD/inverter system and a synchronous generator are connected in parallel to an infinite bus through the common transmission line, revealing that the rotor angle swing of the synchronous generator caused by the power line fault can be effectively suppressed by the fast output power control of the MHD/inverter system. © 1999 Scripta Technica, Electr Eng Jpn, 127(3): 13–24, 1999  相似文献

We examined the electrical properties of polylactic acid (PLA) with a nucleating agent added. The PLA with added nucleating agent was then heat‐treated at 100 °C for 30 seconds. The crystallinity of the PLA with added nucleating agent increased to more than 40%, and its crystallization speed also increased significantly. The temperature dependence of the conductivity (σ) was investigated; at temperatures higher than 60 °C, σ of PLA to which the nucleating agent had been added showed a tendency to become lower than σ of PLA to which no nucleating agent had been added. The temperature dependence of the dielectric breakdown strength ( ) was investigated. of the PLA with added nucleating agent was about 5.0 MV/cm at 25 °C. Of particular note was the fact that the of PLA with added nucleating agent was about 4.7 MV/cm at 100 °C, which is about 3 times the value for PLA with no added nucleating agent. The temperature dependence of the relative dielectric constant (?r) and the relative dielectric loss factor (?r) was investigated. The peak dielectric absorption value of ?r for the PLA to which nucleating agent had been added showed a tendency to be lower than that of the PLA to which no nucleating agent had been added. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. There are significant inconsistencies in published literature surrounding the phase analysis and physical properties of ceramics with the nominal composition BaO–Nd2O3–5TiO2 (BNT125). A careful phase analysis investigation of BNT125 ceramics using variable size TiO2 reagents was therefore undertaken using XRD, FESEM and EPMA with corresponding dielectric properties characterised over 2–3 GHz. Three distinct phases were consistently formed: Ba6?3xNd8+2xTi18O54 (x  0.67), Ba2Ti9O20 and TiO2. The use of nano-scale TiO2 reagents significantly reduced porosity and improved the dielectric properties of the composite ceramics, while markedly reducing processing times. Structural and crystal chemical indications as to the origin of this system's physical properties are discussed, with these results providing new insights into optimisation paths for microwave dielectric materials of this type.  相似文献

To improve the vat dyeing of cotton knit fabric with Indanthren Black RB Coll. (CI Vat Black 9), the basic parameters of dyeing, including the concentrations of chemicals, the dyeing temperature and duration, and the apparent diffusion coefficient of the dye, were obtained by test dyeing with a stoppered Erlenmeyer flask and the cellophane film roll method. A stable vat dyeing process has been developed on a modified jet dyeing machine for the first time without using nitrogen to purge oxygen. Modifications were made to improve the airtightness of the machine and the equipment in the liquor circulating system, with a water inlet and outlet for the gentle oxidation of dyed fabric, and with monitoring by means of a sensor inserted in the liquor circulating system for in situ measurements of the redox potential and the pH of the dyeing liquors. These measurements made it possible to follow to their completion the process of dyeing and the process of gentle oxidation by overflow washing with water and final oxidation. Optimal conditions with regard to the amount of reducing agent, the dyeing temperature (80 °C), and oxidising processes were established with this machine. It was found that, by using the modified machine and process conditions, dyeing proceeded stably and reproducibly (at 80 °C) to yield grade A dyed fabric. Visual inspection confirmed that faultless deep‐colour dyeing of the fabric was attained. Production has been proceeding successfully for the past 2 years. Owing to its insolubility, complete removal of the dye from the wastewater has been possible.  相似文献

The present study investigated the application of zero valent iron to remediate the arsenic in naturally contaminated groundwater. A performance evaluation was conducted in the laboratory on groundwater contaminated with artificial arsenic using sodium arsenate (Na2HAsO4.7H2O) to simulate the arsenic concentration in the groundwater. Batch and column experiments were performed to evaluate the arsenic removal capacity by zero valent iron and the removal mechanism. The flow rate (up-flow mode) was maintained for 180 days in each column. The results from both the batch and the column experiments showed that more than 99% of the arsenic was removed successfully. In the column experiments, the arsenic was efficiently removed and the arsenic concentration in the treated water decreased to below the limit of 10 μg /L (WHO's standard) even when the columns were packed with only 25% ZVI by volume. We used SEM and XRD to characterize the surface morphology and the corrosion layer which formed on pristine ZVI and arsenic-treated ZVI to elucidate the arsenic removal mechanism. XRD and SEM results revealed that ZVI gradually converted to a magnetite/maghemite corrosion product mixed with lepidocrocite. Adsorption followed by co-precipitation was an important pathway to removing the arsenic by ZVI. Our results suggest that ZVI, combined with sand, is a suitable candidate for the ex-situ treatment of groundwater in the neutral pH range and in the presence of dissolved oxygen.  相似文献

Aluminum nitride (AlN) powders were synthesized by gas reduction–nitridation of γ-Al2O3 using NH3 and C3H8 as the reactant gases. AlN was identified in the products synthesized at 1100°–1400°C for 120 min in the NH3–C3H8 gas flow confirming that AlN can be formed by the gas reduction–nitridation of γ-Al2O3. The products synthesized at 1100°C for 120 min contained unreacted γ-Al2O3. The 27A1 MAS NMR spectra show that Al–N bonding in the product increases with increasing reaction temperature, the tetrahedral AlO4 resonance decreasing prior to the disappearance of the octahedral AlO6 resonance. This suggests that the tetrahedral AlO4 sites of the γ-Al2O3 are preferentially nitrided than the AlO6 sites. AlN nanoparticles were directly formed from γ-Al2O3 at low temperature because of this preferred nitridation of AlO4 sites in the reactant. AlN nanoparticles are formed by gas reduction–nitridation of γ-Al2O3 not only because the reaction temperature is sufficiently low to restrict grain growth, but also because γ-Al2O3 contains both AlO4 and AlO6 sites, by contrast with α-Al2O3 which contains only AlO6.  相似文献

The paper proposes a method for generating a sequence of images with smooth change of illumination from two input images with different lighting conditions. The idea of the proposed method is based on image morphing. While conventional image morphing changes object shapes between two input images, here we focus on changing the illumination between two images. The proposed method uses isoluminance curves as a feature primitive. Isoluminance curves acquired from images are warped based on the correspondence of the curves between two images, and transformed luminance distributions are generated from the warped isoluminance curves. The proposed method called "illumination morphing" is able to generate smooth transition of luminance between two color images. The method does not need even the information about the light sources and 3D object models. The proposed method is a promising technique for many applications requiring a scene with variety of lighting effects, such as movies, TV games, and so on.  相似文献

Rapamycin is an immunosuppressant that effectively controls various immune responses; however, its action in the signal transduction of lymphocytes has remained largely unknown. We show here that a phosphoprotein encoded by mouse alpha4 (malpha4) gene transmitting a signal through B-cell antigen receptor (BCR) is associated with the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2Ac). The middle region of alph4, consisting of 109 amino acids (94-202), associates directly with PP2Ac, irrespective of any other accessory molecule. Rapamycin treatment disrupts the association of PP2Ac/alpha4 in parallel with the inhibitory effect of lymphoid cell proliferation. The effect of rapamycin was inhibited with an excess amount of FK506 that potentially completes the binding to FKBP. Rapamycin treatment also suppresses the phosphatase activity of cells measured by in vitro phosphatase assay. Introduction of the malpha4 cDNA into Jurkat cells or the increased association of PP2Ac/alpha4 by the culture with low serum concentration confers cells with rapamycin resistance. Moreover, glutathione S-transferase (GST)-alpha4 augments the PP2A activity upon myelin basic protein (MBP) and histone in the in vitro assay. These results suggest that alpha4 acts as a positive regulator of PP2A and as a new target of rapamycin in the activation of lymphocytes.  相似文献
