Dispersion equation of planar-wiggler free-electron laser with background plasma is derived using linear fluid theory. The characteristic of this plasma FEL is analyzed in detail. It is shown that reasonable background plasma density tends to improve FEL growth rate. We also find there exits a critical plasma density for FEL operating. When the background plasma density is higher than critical density, the FEL can no longer be excited.  相似文献

Mesopore nickel-based mixed rare-earth oxide (NMRO) and activated carbon (AC) with rich oxygen-contained groups were prepared as electrode materials in a supercapacitor using room temperature ionic liquid (RTIL) electrolyte. These electrode materials were characterized by XPS, XRD, N2 adsorption, SEM as well as various electrochemical techniques, and showed good properties and operated well with RTIL electrolyte. A 3 V asymmetrical supercapacitor was fabricated, which delivered a real power density of 458 W kg−1 as well as a real energy density of 50 Wh kg−1, and during a 500-cycle galvanostatic charge/discharge measurement, no capacity decay was visible. Such promising energy-storage performance was to a large extent ascribed to nonvolatile RTIL electrolyte with wide electrochemical windows and high stable abilities worked with both electrode materials.  相似文献

The instability curve of a Rijke tube system was obtained accurately by following different paths of heat power and flow-rate for three regions and by defining its locus from the criterion based on the measured sound pressure levels. The unstable limits in the region of flow-rate lower than that at the minimal power are compared with previous data. To observe the effect of turbulence on the unstable limits, inflow turbulence was introduced by placing a bundle of circular cylinders upstream of the heating part (50< Red< 700). The large-amplitude inflow fluctuation may delay the transition of the chamber acoustic mode to the unstable zone even at a sufficient power.  相似文献

Outdoor log storage without protection can change the mechanical and chemical properties of wood due to infection by various fungi. To understand how outdoor log storage affects the wood and, subsequently, the strandboard quality, two piles of aspen logs were set up outside and stored for a period of four months (July to November). One of the piles was treated with a biological solution to prevent fungal growth. The other one was stored without treatment. Both piles contained non-debarked and partially debarked logs. Evaluation of sap stain development indicated that all logs had been colonized by staining fungi with average stain coverage of 9.37 to 57.18% and maximum stain penetration of 3.58 to 7.27 cm over the log cross section. The variation of fungal colonization depended on log treatment and bark condition. The most effective way to prevent stain growth was the combination of biological treatment and partial debarking. A series of strandboard was prepared from fresh and aged aspen logs. All boards made from stored logs were statistically comparable to or superior to the control boards made from fresh aspen logs. The boards made from treated/partially debarked and untreated/non-debarked logs were statistically comparable to each other except for wet MOR. In addition, these two board types were statistically stronger than other boards made from treated/non-debarked and untreated/partially debarked logs in terms of IB and water resistance. Some individual stained strands were observed on the finished board surface. Less staining was found in the boards prepared from biologically treated and partially debarked logs, compared with those made from other stored logs.  相似文献
