In this study, Co3O4 nanosheets were synthesized through hydrothermal method using cobalt nitrate hexahydrate. X-ray diffraction, diffuse reflectance spectra, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and field emission scanning electron microscopy were applied to investigate the properties of as-synthesized samples. Ultimately, the electrochemical and photoelectrochemical properties were evaluated by Mott–Schottky analysis and measuring photoconversion efficiency of Co3O4 nanosheets. The results indicated that Co3O4 nanosheets exhibited a maximum efficiency of 0.92% for water electrolysis under simulated 1.5 global sunlight air mass, which further suggests the excellent potential of Co3O4 nanosheets for application in hydrogen generation through photocatalytic water splitting.  相似文献

Calcium carbonate (CaCO3)/alginate inorganic–organic hybrid particles were synthesized and deposited on to the surface of cotton fabrics with a novel one‐step procedure. The effects of the Ca2+/CO32?/alginate molar ratio on the cotton matrix were investigated. The optimization of the process resulted in a regular shaped hybrid microparticles, and scanning electron microscopy revealed that the particles were uniformly distributed on the surface of the fibers. Dynamic light scattering showed that the particles were about 2 μm in diameter. Moreover, transmission electron microscopy images demonstrated that the core–shell structure of the particles existed along with CaCO3 evenly enfolded into the alginate layer. An X‐ray diffraction pattern displayed that the alginate/CaCO3 hybrid microparticles were a mixture of calcite and vaterite crystal. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy indicated that CaCO3/alginate hybrid particles formed in situ were the only deposited materials. The thermogravimetric analysis curve indicated a certain mass ratio of the alginate and CaCO3 in the hybrid particles. Furthermore, the drug‐loading and drug‐release properties of the hybrid microspheres were studied, and the results show that the water‐soluble diclofenac sodium could be effectively loaded in the hybrid microparticles and the drug release could be effectively sustained. Concentrically braced frames (CBFs) are widely used as lateral-load resisting system in steel structures. This study examines the effects of different parameters especially those associated with connections, on the behavior of CBFs. A single bay, singlestory frame is used to evaluate the interaction between structural members. Nonlinear analyses using a detailed inelastic finiteelement model (FEM) are carried out to study the behavior of frames subjected to cyclic loading. Models are designed based on seismic codes and analyzed to evaluate the performance of both SCBFs and OCBFs. The equivalent plastic strain concept is used to determine the ductility capacity and to predict fracture and failure in these models. Results show that the seismic performance of CBFs, which are designed according to current provisions can be improved by configuring the details of gusset plate connections in a way that inelastic demands are balanced in middle of brace and gusset plate corners.  相似文献

A simple and fast method based on solid phase extraction (SPE) applying zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) was developed for the trace amount determination of silver (Ag) in aqueous samples. The method linearity was in the range of 14 to 700 ng mL?1. The extraction efficiency of Ag was greater than 98% and limit of detection (LOD) was 4.2 ng mL?1. The preconcentration factor was 200 and the relative standard deviation (RSD%) of the method was 3.7% (n = 6).  相似文献

In this work a newly semi polar extraction phase of carboxylated multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs) reinforced sol-gel immobilized polypropylene hollow fiber was prepared by low temperature hydrothermal process. It is coupled with flame atomic absorption spectroscopy was employed in the extraction and determination of cobalt and cadmium ions in wastewaters. The main factors influencing the pre-concentration and extraction of the metal ions have been examined in detail. Detection limits obtained in this way for Co(II) and Cd(II) ions were 0.0186 and 0.024 ng mL?1, respectively.  相似文献

A magnetic solid phase extraction was developed for preconcentration of Cu(II) as a 4-bromo-2-(2,4-dichloro-phenylimino)-phenol complex on Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles prior to its determination by atomic absorption spectroscopy. The effect of different parameters influencing the formation of the Cu complex and the extraction efficiency of the Cu complex were studied. Under optimal conditions, the calibration graph showed linearity in the range of 0.946–700 µg L?1 (R2 = 0.9995) of Cu(II). The limit of detection and relative standard deviation of the method (n = 6) were 0.283 µg L?1 and 3.0%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to determine copper (II) in water samples.  相似文献

In this article, a novel method for synthesis of 2-substituted benzimidazoles using MnO2 nanoparticles as a convenient oxidant agent in ethanol-water (1:1) as solvent under ultrasound irradiation was demonstrated. In this protocol the desired products were purely obtained in high yields. The main advantages of this research are: mild procedure, simplicity of method, easily work-up, high yields, and short reaction times. The MnO2 nanoparticles were synthesized through a solid-state reaction route using simple strarting materials. Furthermore, their structure was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR).  相似文献
