Fe(bpb)(CN)2]- as a versatile building block for the design of novel low-dimensional heterobimetallic systems: synthesis, crystal structures, and magnetic properties of cyano-bridged Fe(III)-Ni(II) complexes [(bpb)(2-) = 1,2-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)benzenate

A dicyano-containing [Fe(bpb)(CN)2]- building block has been employed for the synthesis of cyano-bridged heterometallic Ni(II)-Fe(III) complexes. The presence of steric bpb(2-) ligand around the iron ion results in the formation of low-dimensional species: five are neutral NiFe2 trimers and three are one-dimensional (1D). The structure of the 1D complexes consists of alternating [NiL]2+ and [Fe(bpb)(CN)2]- generating a cyano-bridged cationic polymeric chain and the perchlorate as the counteranion. In all complexes, the coordination geometry of the nickel ions is approximately octahedral with the cyano nitrogen atoms at the trans positions. Magnetic studies of seven complexes show the presence of ferromagnetic interaction between the metal ions through the cyano bridges. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility investigations of the trimeric complexes yield the following J(NiFe) values (based on the spin exchange Hamiltonian H = -2J(NiFe) S(Ni) (S(Fe(1)) + S(Fe(2))): J(NiFe) = 6.40(5), 7.8(1), 8.9(2), and 6.03(4) cm(-1), respectively. The study of the magneto-structural correlation reveals that the cyanide-bridging bond angle is related to the strength of magnetic exchange coupling: the larger the Ni-N[triple bond]C bond angle, the stronger the Ni- - -Fe magnetic interaction. One 1D complex exhibits long-range antiferromagnetic ordering with T(N) = 3.5 K. Below T(N) (1.82 K), a metamagnetic behavior was observed with the critical field of approximately 6 kOe. The present research shows that the [Fe(bpb)(CN)2]- building block is a good candidate for the construction of low-dimensional magnetic materials.     

Study on the Dynamics of Blending of Glucomannan with Carrageenan and Guaran Gum

In order to prove up the interaction between konjac glucomannan (KGM) and other amyloses, by using KGM, guaran gum and carrageenan as materials, their blending in different external conditions was modeled by means of molecular dynamics (MD) method. The result showed that 323 K was a significant turning point for the formation of hydrogen bond, and KGM and guaran gum were just juxtaposed together via intermolecular hydrogen bond; but with the addition of carrageenan, KGM, guaran gum and carrageenan were spirally twisted together, and when their blending proportion is 3:2:9 the combination was the most compact. Moreover, the research result has provided the sequent studies afterwards on amyloses with some references.

在溶剂热条件下,基于芳香四羧酸合成了2种新颖的配位聚合物:{[Zn2(tptc)(1,4-bimb)2]·H2O}n(1)和{[Ni(tptc)0.5(1,2-bimb)(H2O)]·H2O}n(2),其中,tptc为对-三联苯-3,3″,5,5″-四羧酸,1,4-bimb为1,4-二(咪唑-1-亚甲基)苯,1,2-bimb为1,2-二(咪唑-1-亚甲基)苯。结构分析表明,1为三维结构,拓扑符号为(86);2为二维层状网络,通过氢键相互作用进一步扩展为三维超分子结构。此外,我们还研究了1对阳离子、阴离子的荧光感应以及2的磁性质。     

The electrochemistry and determination of Ligustrazine hydrochloride

Ligustrazine is one of the active ingredients contained in Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort. (Umbelliferae), which is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of cardiovascular problems. In this work, the electrochemistry of Ligustrazine hydrochloride (LZC) and its determination are investigated. The detection limit is estimated to be 8.0×10^–8 M, with three linear ranges from 1.0×10^–6 to 1.0×10^–4 M, 1.0×10^–4 to 5.0×10^–4 M, and 6.5×10^–4 to 1.6×10^–3 M. The method has been proved to be highly sensitive, selective, and stable, and has been successfully applied to determining LZC in LZC injections.     

Electrogenerated Chemiluminescence (ECL) Determination of Ephedrine with a Self-Assembly Multilayer Ni(II)-Polyluminol Modified Electrode

By combining the layer-by-layer (LBL) self-assembly technique with the electrochemical polymerization method, multilayer Ni(II)-polyluminol films were modified on the surface of a vaseline-impregnated graphite electrode. It was found that, compared with an electrode modified by direct electrochemical polymerization, this modified electrode offered a suitable ECL reaction micro-environment created by the special multilayer films, which was beneficial to the ephedrine hydrochloride enhancing effect for luminol ECL intensity. The ECL enhancing effect of ephedrine hydrochloride on the electro-oxidation luminol was improved on this modified electrode. Based on this finding, a new sensitive ECL method was developed for ephedrine hydrochloride determination under the optimal conditions. At the same time, a new idea is proposed for improving the analytical performance of the luminol ECL system by modifying the ECL reaction micro-environment with the layer-by-layer self- assembly method. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the ephedrine hydrochloride concentration in the range of 2.0 × 10⁻⁸–7.0 × 10⁻⁶ mol L⁻¹ was proportional to the enhanced ECL signal, and it offered an 8.0 × 10⁻⁹ mol L⁻¹ detection limit for ephedrine hydrochloride.     

A dimer of α‐ and β‐dihydro­arte­misinin: bis­(3,6,9‐trimethyl‐3,12‐epidioxy‐3,4,5,5a,6,7,8,8a,9,10‐deca­hydro‐12H‐pyrano[4,3‐j][1,2]­benzo­dioxepin‐10‐yl) ether

The title compound, C₃₀H₄₆O₉, prepared from a mixture of α‐ and β‐dihydro­artemisinin, has α‐ and β‐arteether moieties linked via an –O– bridge, so that the mol­ecule is asymmetric about the bridge. The endoperoxide bridges of the parent compounds have been retained in each half of the ether‐bridged dimer. The rings exhibit chair and twist–boat conformations.     

C_（60）的胺加成反应和电喷雾电离质谱（ESI－MS）检测

报道了Ｃ６０与１，３－丙二胺和Ｎ，Ｎ－二甲基－１，３－丙二胺的加合反应，反应产物未经预先离子化处理直接用ＥＳＬ－ＭＳ进行检测。由于反应产物从甲苯溶液中析出，避免了生成多胺基加合物，产物以单加成物为主。当加合反应在空气氛下进行时，有加合氧的产物Ｃ６０Ｏｎ（ＮＨ２—ＣＨ２ＣＨ２ＣＨ２ＮＲ２）ｍ（Ｒ＝Ｈ，ＣＨ３）存在。实验发现：Ｎ，Ｎ－二甲基－１，３－丙二胺比１，３－丙二胺更容易与Ｃ６０发生多胺基加成和氧加成反应。通过控制反应条件可制备Ｃ６０二胺的单加成产物。     

Recent advances on deoximation: From stoichiometric reaction to catalytic reaction

Recent advances on the deoximation reactions are reviewed in this review. It was shown that catalytic deoximation with molecular oxygen as the mild oxidant should be the developing trend of the reaction.

Transition metal complexes of the Schiff bases derived from S-alkyldithiocarbazate with 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde N-oxide—I. Synthesis, properties and structure of four-coordinate copper(II) complexes

Two new Schiff bases (SMPDH and SBPDH) of S-methyl- and S-benzyl-dithiocarbazate with 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde N-oxide were prepared and confirmed by elemental analyses and IR spectra. Four copper(II) complexes of the above two Schiff base ligands with imidazole and pyridine were obtained and characterized spectroscopically. The crystal structure of [Cu(SMPD)ImH]ClO₄ was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The geometry of the copper atoms in these complexes is square planar with an unsymmetrical environment.
