Synthesis of Oligomers by Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Dihydric Phenols and Quinones with 3,3′,5,5′-Tetra-<Emphasis Type="Italic">tert</Emphasis>-butyl-<Emphasis Type="Italic">trans</Emphasis>-stilbenequinone

Oxidative dehydrogenation of pyrocatechol and 1,4-benzoquinone with 3,3′,5,5′-tetra-tert-butyl-trans-stilbenequinone as oxidant afforded oligomeric polyhydroquinones and polyquinones. Appropriate reaction conditions have been found, and the resulting oligomers have been characterized by IR and MALDI TOF mass spectra and elemental analyses.     

Synthesis of 4-(dibromomethyl)benzenecarbaldehyde and its reactions with N- and O-nucleophiles

4-(Dibromomethyl)benzenecarbaldehyde was first synthesized and its preparation method jointly with terephthalic aldehyde was developed. Its reactions with O- and N-nucleophiles were studied: the reaction of this aldehyde with trialkyl orthoformates results in the formation of acetals while reacting with primary amines it forms imines, including those containing an additional acetal group.     

Synthesis of new nucleoside analogs containing amino bisphosphonic groups

Adenosine derivatives containing a 2,2-bis(diethoxyphosphoryl)ethyl or 2,2-diphosphonoethyl group on the amino nitrogen atom were synthesized for the first time by reaction of 5′-chloro-5′-deoxy- and 5′-hydroxy-2′,3′-isopropylideneadenosine with tetraethyl ethene-1,1-diylbis(phosphonate) or tetrakis(trimethylsilyl) ethene-1,1-diylbis(phosphonate).     

Synthesis of 2-arylpyrrolidines by reaction of γ-ureidoacetals with benzene-1,3,5-triol

New 2,2′-(2,4,6-trihydroxybenzene-1,3-diyl)dipyrrolidine derivatives have been synthesized by reaction of benzene-1,3,5-triol (phloroglucinol) with γ-ureidoacetals in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid as catalyst.     

Study of the reaction of 4-chloromethylene-2,6-di-<Emphasis Type="Italic">tert</Emphasis>-butylcyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-one with the P(III) acids esters

The main stable products of the reactions 4-chloromethylene-2,6-di-tert-butylcyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-one with triethyl phosphite and ethyl diphenylphosphinite are the phosphorylated phosphorus ylides, 3,3′,5,5′-tetra-tert-butylstilbenequinone, and biphosphorylated sterically hindered phenols.

Reaction of P(IV) Dithio Acids with <Emphasis Type="Italic">N</Emphasis>-Alkyl-α-chloroketimines

Effect of the substituent on the imine carbon atom on the result of the reaction of P(IV) dithio acids with N-Alkyl-α-chloroketimines has been studied. New types of ketones containing (O,O-diisopropyl phosphorothioyl)sulfanyl and (diphenylphosphinothioyl)sulfanyl groups were synthesized.     

Lipids of <Emphasis Type="Italic">Eminium Lehmannii</Emphasis> Leaves and Tubers
