为了解医学科研论文中统计方法的应用现状及存在问题,对2004-07/2005-02某医学院校学报所有拟发表的449篇医学论文中统计学应用情况进行统计审查,建立调查数据库并进行统计分析.拟发表医学论文中统计方法使用率为78.17%.需要采用的统计方法中,ANOVA占33.19%,重复ANOVA占13.36%,团体t检验占12.93%.应用统计方法的论文,统计方法误用率为57.26%,其中最常见的错误为t检验误用.不同来源作者的论文统计审查结果有显著差异(χ2=11.24,P=0.004).医学科研论文存在统计方法误用较为严重,复杂统计方法应用率低等问题,医学统计学的应用水平有待进一步提高. 相似文献

Conventional statistical methods (e.g. logistics regression, decision tree, etc.) have been used to analyze library demand-driven acquisitions (DDA) data. However, these methods are not well-suited to predict when acquisitions will be triggered or how long e-books will remain unused. Survival analysis, a statistical method commonly used in clinical research and medical trials, was employed to predict the time-to-trigger for DDA purchases within the context of a large research university library. By predicting which e-books will be triggered (i.e., purchased), as well as the time to trigger occurrence, the method tested in this study provides libraries a deeper understanding of factors influencing their DDA purchasing patterns. This understanding will help libraries optimize their DDA profile management and DDA budgets. This research provides a demonstration of how data science techniques can be of value for the library environment. 相似文献

A number of linear classification methods such as the linear least squares fit (LLSF), logistic regression, and support vector machines (SVM's) have been applied to text categorization problems. These methods share the similarity by finding hyperplanes that approximately separate a class of document vectors from its complement. However, support vector machines are so far considered special in that they have been demonstrated to achieve the state of the art performance. It is therefore worthwhile to understand whether such good performance is unique to the SVM design, or if it can also be achieved by other linear classification methods. In this paper, we compare a number of known linear classification methods as well as some variants in the framework of regularized linear systems. We will discuss the statistical and numerical properties of these algorithms, with a focus on text categorization. We will also provide some numerical experiments to illustrate these algorithms on a number of datasets. 相似文献

Journal self-citations strongly affect journal evaluation indicators (such as impact factors) at the meso- and micro-levels, and therefore they are often increased artificially to inflate the evaluation indicators in journal evaluation systems. This coercive self-citation is a form of scientific misconduct that severely undermines the objective authenticity of these indicators. In this study, we developed the feature space for describing journal citation behavior and conducted feature selection by combining GA-Wrapper with RelifF. We also constructed a journal classification model using the logistic regression method to identify normal and abnormal journals. We evaluated the performance of the classification model using journals in three subject areas (BIOLOGY, MATHEMATICS and CHEMISTRY, APPLIED) during 2002–2011 as the test samples and good results were achieved in our experiments. Thus, we developed an effective method for the accurate identification of coercive self-citations. 相似文献
