We present the first study of CP asymmetry in ∧b → ∧l^+l^- decay when a new weak phase comes through the extension of three-generation standard model to the four-generation standard model. Taking |Vt′s^*Vt′b| = 0.01, 0.02, 0.03 with phase {60° - 120°}, which is consistent with the b → sl^+l^- rate and the Bs mixing parameter △mBs, we find out that CP asymmetry is quite sensitive to the existence of fourth generation. It can serve as a good tool to search for new physics effects, in particular, to search for the fourth generation quarks (t′, b′) via their indirect manifestations in loop diagrams.  相似文献

In the framework of factorization, we study direct CP violation in the decays of B(s)→J/ψP(V) (P(V) refer to the pseudoscalar (vector) meson). The CP violation depends strongly on Cabibbo-Kobayashi- Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements and the effective parameter, Nc. The recent experimental data for the branching ratios of B(s)→J/ψP(V) are accurate enough and we can give a strong constraint on the range of Nc. We nd that the CP violating asymmetry is consistent with the available experiment values for the b→d transition, and a little smaller than the b→s transition. We also predict the CP violation of other decay channels for B(s)→J/ψP(V). We expect our results can give valuable guidance for experiments.  相似文献

We give the moment expressions for the boson resonances X with spin-parity JXPXC=0 ,1- ,1 and 2 posibly produced in the process J/ψ→ρX,X→b1(1235)π,b1→ωπ in terms of the generalized moment analysis method .The resonance with JXPXC=1- can e distingguished from other resonances by means of these moments exceptfor some rather special cases.The suggestion that the search for the hybrid with IG(JPC)=1-(1- ) can be performed in the decay channl J/ψ→ρωππat upgraded BEPC/BES is presented.  相似文献

In this proceeding, we propose to directly measure the a0^0(980)-f0 (980) mixing in J/ψ→φf0(980)→φa0^0(980) and Xc1→π^0a0^0(980) →π^0f0(980) with the upgraded Beijing Electron Positron Collider(BEPCII) with BESIII detector. We show that a narrow peak of about 8 MeV will be produced by the a0^0(980)-f0(980) mixing, and the predominant feature makes it standing out from the background contributions. The predicted branching ratios for these two reactions are both expected to be about O(10^-6), which is unambiguously accessible with 10^9 J/ψ and 3 × 10^8 Xc1 at BESⅢ.  相似文献

We perform calculations for theB~0_s→J/ψπ~0f_0(980) andB~0_s→J/ψπ~0a_0(980) reactions, showing that the first is isospin-suppressed while the second is isospin-allowed. The reaction proceeds via a triangle mechanism, with B~0_s→J/ψK* Kˉ+c.c., followed by the decay K*→Kπ and a further fusion of K Kˉ into the f0(980) or a0(980). We show that the mechanism develops a singularity around the π~0f_0(980) or πa_0(980) invariant mass of 1420 Me V, where the π~0f_0 and π~0a_0 decay modes are magnified and also the ratio of π~0f_0 to π~0a_0 production. Using experimental information for theB~0_s→J/ψK* Kˉ+c.c. decay, we are able to obtain absolute values for the reactions studied which fall into the experimentally accessible range. The reactions proposed and the observables evaluated, when contrasted with actual experiments, should be very valuable to obtain information on the nature of the low lying scalar mesons.  相似文献

Recently,the CDF Collaboration has measured the branching fraction and time-integrated direct CP asymmetry of Bs → K-π+ decay.The branching ratio is lower than the previous predictions based on QCD factorization.The experimental results favor a large CP asymmetry in Bs → K-π+ decay while the standard model prediction is very small.We compute the supersymmetry contributions to Bs → K-π+ decay using the mass insertion method,and find that the LR and RL mass insertions could suppress this branching ratio and increase this direct CP asymmetry well in line with the experimental data.  相似文献

In the framework of R-parity violating supersymmetry, we investigate the time dependent CP asymmetry SφKs anomaly of B→φKs decay. When the values of the weak phase φ in the R-parity violating coupling fall into certain parameter spaces (246°〈 φ 〈 263°) we find that this anomaly can be easily explained; at the same time, the branching ratio of B→φKs decay can also be in agreement with experimental measurements.  相似文献

The mean first-passage time (MFPT) of an asymmetric bistable system between multiplicative non-Gaussian noise and additive Gaussian white noise with nonzero cross-correlation time is investigated. Firstly, the non-Markov process is reduced to the Markov process through a path-integral approach; Secondly, the approximate Fokker Planck equation is obtained by applying the unified colored noise approximation and the.Novikov Theorem. The steady-state probability distribution (SPD) is also obtained. The basal functional analysis and simplification are employed to obtain the approximate expressions of MFPT T^±. The effects of the asymmetry parameter β, the non-Gaussian parameter (measures deviation from Gaussian character) r, the noise correlation times τ and τ2, the coupling coefficient A, the intensities D and a of noise on the MFPT are discussed. It is found that the asymmetry parameter β, the non-Gaussian parameter r and the coupling coefficient A can induce phase transition. Moreover, the main findings are that the effect of self-existent parameters (D, α, and τ) of noise and cross-correlation parameters (A, 7-2) between noises on MFPT T^± is different.  相似文献

The first law of black hole thermodynamics has been shown to be valid in the extended phase space.However,the second law and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture have not been investigated extensively.We investigate the laws of thermodynamics and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture of an AdS black hole with a global monopole in the extended phase space in the case of charged particle absorption.It is shown that the first law of thermodynamics is valid,while the second law is violated for the extremal and near-extremal black holes.Moreover,we find that the weak cosmic censorship conjecture is valid only for the extremal black hole,and that it can be violated for the near-extremal black holes,which is different from the previous results.  相似文献

We experimentally demonstrate the measurement of carrier-envelope phase of few-cycle laser pulses. We have built a stereo above-threshold ionization setup. The photoelectron energy spectra of high-order above-threshold ionization are measured in both the left and right directions in the linearly polarized laser fields. It is shown that the left-right asymmetry of the spectra is dependent on carrier-envelope phase of few-cycle laser pulses. Two asymmetry parameters from the low-energy and high-energy regions at the above-threshold ionization plateau map a phase ellipse, in which the points indicate the absolute value of carrier-envelope phase. We have calibrated the phase ellipse by comparison with the semiclassical calculation. This setup allows us to determine the value of the absolute phase of few-cycle laser pulses.  相似文献

In this work we investigated the geometric phases of a qubit-oscillator system beyond the conventional rotating- wave approximation. We find that in the limiting of weak coupling the results coincide with that obtained under rotating-wave approximation while there exists an increasing difference with the increase of coupling constant. It was shown that the geometric phase is symmetric with respect to the sign of the detuning of the quantized field from the one-photon resonance under the conventional rotating-wave approximation while a red-blue detuning asymmetry occurs beyond the conventional rotating-wave approximation.  相似文献

We present world average values for D0- mixing parameters x and y, CP violation parameters |q/P| and Arg(q/p), and strong phase differences δ and δKππ. These values are calculated by the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group (HFAG) by performing a global fit to relevant experimental measurements. The results for x and y differ significantly from zero and are inconsistent with no mixing at the level of 6.7σ. The results for |q/P| and Arg(q/p) are consistent with no CP violation. We study the spin-field and the spin-spin entanglement in the ground state of a spin-orbit coupled Bose–Einstein condensate. It is found that the spin-field and the spin-spin entanglement can be induced by the spin-orbit coupling. By mapping the system to the Dicke-like model,the system exhibits a quantum phase transition from a normal(spin balanced) phase to superradiant(spin polarized) phase. The Dicke-like phase transition can be captured by the spin-field and the spin-spin entanglement arising from the spin-orbit coupling. The spin-field and the spin-spin entanglement increase as the Raman coupling increases in the superradiant phase,while they decrease with the Raman coupling increasing in the normal phase. We also consider the effect of a finite detuning on these entanglement show that the presence of the detuning suppresses the spin-field and the spin-spin entanglement.  相似文献

We consider a qubit symmetrically and transversely coupled to an XY spin chain with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya(DM) interaction in the presence of a transverse magnetic field.An analytical expression for the geometric phase of the qubit is obtained in the weak coupling limit.We find that the modification of the geometrical phase induced by the spin chain environment is greatly enhanced by DM interaction in the weak coupling limit around the quantum phase transition point of the spin chain.  相似文献
