New modified open Newton Cotes integrators are introduced in this paper. For the new proposed integrators the connection between these new algorithms, differential methods and symplectic integrators is studied. Much research has been done on one step symplectic integrators and several of them have obtained based on symplectic geometry. However, the research on multistep symplectic integrators is very poor. Zhu et al. [1] studied the well known open Newton Cotes differential methods and they presented them as multilayer symplectic integrators. Chiou and Wu [2] studied the development of multistep symplectic integrators based on the open Newton Cotes integration methods. In this paper we introduce a new open modified numerical method of Newton Cotes type and we present it as symplectic multilayer structure. The new obtained symplectic schemes are applied for the solution of Hamilton’s equations of motion which are linear in position and momentum. An important remark is that the Hamiltonian energy of the system remains almost constant as integration proceeds. We have applied also efficiently the new proposed method to a nonlinear orbital problem and an almost periodic orbital problem.  相似文献

Symplectic self-adjointness of Hamiltonian operator matrices is studied, which is important to symplectic elasticity and optimal control. For the cases of diagonal domain and off-diagonal domain, necessary and sufficient conditions are shown. The proofs use Frobenius-Schur factorizations of unbounded operator matrices.Under additional assumptions, sufficient conditions based on perturbation method are obtained. In this paper, similarity symplectic geometry for curves is proposed and studied. Explicit expressions of the symplectic invariants, Frenet frame and Frenet formulae for curves in similarity symplectic geometry are obtained by using the equivariant moving frame method. The relationships between the Euclidean symplectic invariants, Frenet frame, Frenet formulae and the similarity symplectic invariants, Frenet frame, Frenet formulae for curves are established. Invariant curve flows in four-dimensional similarity symplectic geometry are also studied. It is shown that certain intrinsic invariant curve flows in four-dimensional similarity symplectic geometry are related to the integrable Burgers and matrix Burgers equations.  相似文献

In this paper, the various cases of synchronization phenomena investigated in a system of two bidirectionally coupled double scroll circuits, were studied. Complete synchronization, inverse lag synchronization, and inverse π-lag synchronization are the observed synchronization phenomena, as the coupling factor is varied. The inverse lag synchronization phenomenon in mutually coupled identical oscillators is presented for the first time. As the coupling factor is increased, the system undergoes a transition from chaotic desynchronization to chaotic complete synchronization, while inverse lag synchronization and inverse π-lag synchronization are observed for greater values of the coupling factor, depending on the initial conditions of the state variables of the system. Inverse π-lag synchronization in coupled nonlinear oscillators is a special case of lag synchronization, which is also presented for the first time.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to show how geometric and algebraic approaches lead us to a new symplectic elementary transformations: the 2-D symplectic Householder transformations. Their features are studied in details. Their interesting properties allow us to construct a new algorithm for computing a SR factorization. This algorithm is based only on these 2-D symplectic Householder transformations. Its new features are highlighted. The study shows that, in the symplectic case, the new algorithm is the corresponding one to the classical QR factorization algorithm, via the Householder transformations. The connection between closed Newton–Cotes, trigonometrically-fitted differential methods and symplectic integrators is studied in this paper. Several one-step symplectic integrators have been obtained based on symplectic geometry, as is shown in the literature. However, the study of multi-step symplectic integrators is very limited. The well-known open Newton–Cotes differential methods are presented as multilayer symplectic integrators by Zhu et al. [W. Zhu, X. Zhao, Y. Tang, Journal of Chem. Phys. 104 (1996), 2275]. The construction of multi-step symplectic integrators based on the open Newton–Cotes integration methods is investigated by Chiou and Wu [J.C. Chiou, S.D. Wu, Journal of Chemical Physics 107 (1997), 6894]. The closed Newton–Cotes formulae are studied in this paper and presented as symplectic multilayer structures. We also develop trigonometrically-fitted symplectic methods which are based on the closed Newton–Cotes formulae. We apply the symplectic schemes in order to solve Hamilton’s equations of motion which are linear in position and momentum. We observe that the Hamiltonian energy of the system remains almost constant as the integration proceeds. Finally we apply the new developed methods to an orbital problem in order to show the efficiency of this new methodology.  相似文献

We prove the so-called Unitary Hyperbolicity Theorem,a result on hyperbolicity of unitary involutions.The analogous previously known results for the orthogonal and symplectic involutions are formal consequences of the unitary one.While the original proofs in the orthogonal and symplectic cases were based on the incompressibility of generalized Severi-Brauer varieties,the proof in the unitary case is based on the incompressibility of their Weil transfers.  相似文献

We exploit the geometric approach to the virtual fundamental class, due to Fukaya–Ono and Li–Tian, to compare Gromov–Witten invariants of a symplectic manifold and a symplectic submanifold whenever all constrained stable maps to the former are contained in the latter to first order. Various special cases of the comparison theorem in this paper have long been used in the algebraic category; some of them have also appeared in the symplectic setting. Combined with the inherent flexibility of the symplectic category, the main theorem leads to a confirmation of Pandharipande?s Gopakumar–Vafa prediction for GW-invariants of Fano classes in 6-dimensional symplectic manifolds. The proof of the main theorem uses deformations of the Cauchy–Riemann equation that respect the submanifold and Carleman Similarity Principle for solutions of perturbed Cauchy–Riemann equations. In a forthcoming paper, we apply a similar approach to relative Gromov–Witten invariants and the absolute/relative correspondence in genus 0.  相似文献

In this article, a unified approach to obtain symplectic integrators on \(T^{*}G\) from Lie group integrators on a Lie group \(G\) is presented. The approach is worked out in detail for symplectic integrators based on Runge–Kutta–Munthe-Kaas methods and Crouch–Grossman methods. These methods can be interpreted as symplectic partitioned Runge–Kutta methods extended to the Lie group setting in two different ways. In both cases, we show that it is possible to obtain symplectic integrators of arbitrarily high order by this approach.  相似文献

In this paper, the linear stability of symplectic methods for Hamiltonian systems is studied. In par- ticular, three classes of symplectic methods are considered: symplectic Runge-Kutta (SRK) methods, symplectic partitioned Runge-Kutta (SPRK) methods and the composition methods based on SRK or SPRK methods. It is shown that the SRK methods and their compositions preserve the ellipticity of equilibrium points uncondi- tionally, whereas the SPRK methods and their compositions have some restrictions on the time-step.  相似文献

Variational integrators are derived for structure-preserving simulation of stochastic Hamiltonian systems with a certain type of multiplicative noise arising in geometric mechanics. The derivation is based on a stochastic discrete Hamiltonian which approximates a type-II stochastic generating function for the stochastic flow of the Hamiltonian system. The generating function is obtained by introducing an appropriate stochastic action functional and its corresponding variational principle. Our approach permits to recast in a unified framework a number of integrators previously studied in the literature, and presents a general methodology to derive new structure-preserving numerical schemes. The resulting integrators are symplectic; they preserve integrals of motion related to Lie group symmetries; and they include stochastic symplectic Runge–Kutta methods as a special case. Several new low-stage stochastic symplectic methods of mean-square order 1.0 derived using this approach are presented and tested numerically to demonstrate their superior long-time numerical stability and energy behavior compared to nonsymplectic methods.  相似文献

Several necessary and/or sufficient conditions for the existence of a non–square-integrable solution of symplectic dynamic systems with general linear dependence on the spectral parameter on time scales are established and a sufficient condition for the limit-point case is derived. For a symplectic monotone manifold (P,ω) and φSymp0(P,ω), we define a -graded symplectic Floer cohomology (a local invariant) over integral coefficients. There is a spectral sequence which arises from a filtration on the -graded symplectic Floer cochain complex. The spectral sequence converges to the -graded symplectic Floer cohomology (a global invariant). We show that there are cross products on the -graded symplectic Floer cohomology and on the spectral sequence, hence on the usual -graded symplectic Floer cohomology. The Künneth formula for the -graded symplectic Floer cohomology is proved and similar results for the spectral sequence are obtained.  相似文献
