夏热冬冷地区既有住宅建筑考虑通风和经济等因素,楼梯间多设计为开敞式,对建筑节能有一定影响。然而,在对该类建筑的节能改造过程中,楼梯间通常被忽视,未作处理。通过对该地区住宅建筑模型的动态能耗模拟分析,阐述了开敞楼梯间节能改造对整个住宅节能改造效果的影响,并从节能、施工、经济的角度出发,提出了该地区住宅建筑节能改造过程中开敞楼梯间的合理改造方案。  相似文献

ABSTRACT: More than a generation after the Civil Rights Act of 1968, fair housing remains an ambiguous and unattained goal in the United States. Entrenched opposition, weakness in the original legislation, racial preferences, and division among proponents help to explain this situation. The author examines the latter two factors and identifies the role of historical change in the persisting weakness of fair housing. Through an analysis of the prointegration movement, he argues that demographic and social change since 1968 have eroded support among both whites and blacks for integration and open housing and exacerbated divisions among proponents of fair housing.  相似文献

sing a sample of recently completed 'commodity housing' in Guangzhou, i.e. dwellings that were built by development companies and sold or rented at full market price in the primary market, a multi-level logit analysis of the housing allocation process and of tenure decisions was conducted. The results of the statistical analysis are generally in line with the nature of housing market segmentation and the forces governing housing allocation and consumption in China in general and Guangzhou in particular. Residents in open market housing generally have higher incomes and hold higher-status jobs than those in the subsidised sectors. However, at the same time, the getihu or petty traders, who rank low in terms of occupational status, are also likely to be occupants of open market housing. Household characteristics also show systematic variations between occupants of different types of subsidised housing. In particular, residents of resettlement housing tend to occupy lower-status jobs. In terms of tenure choice, the results for the open market housing residents are to some extent consistent with studies conducted in market economies. In the subsidised sectors, the factors underlying homeownership are quite different between housing types. Occupation, for example, has significant effects on homeownership in both work unit housing and housing bureau housing, but the nature of the influence is quite different in each case. In the case of resettlement housing, none of the household attributes, with the exception of the head's year of service in present employment organisation, was found to be significant.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: Creating housing opportunities in exclusionary suburbs for lower‐income households is an essential component of any effort to reduce the concentration of the poor and minorities in central cities. Three New England states have adopted anti‐snob land use laws in an effort to promote the development of more affordable housing in the suburbs. Those laws limit the ability of local government to use its power over land use and development permitting to effectively exclude housing that lower‐income households can afford. This research describes how those laws relate to other efforts to open the suburbs, how the laws work, and what impact adoption of the laws has had on the supply of affordable housing in exclusionary municipalities.  相似文献

Abstract

In this paper, we examine how to understand housing as a relational process. Drawing on research in three diverse cities, we stage an unlikely dialogue that brings together narratives of housing across the global North–South divide. In doing so, we are concerned with thinking housing relationally in two broad senses: first, housing as a relational composite of economy, space, politics, legality and materials, structured by particular relations of power and resource inequality. Second, housing as a space of learning through comparison, which connects geographically and culturally in distinct cities. What do we learn about relational thinking with regards to housing when we compare it across the global North–South divide? In response, we explore a dialogue between a set of cities often off-the-map in debates on housing and urban research: Gateshead (UK), Kampala (Uganda) and Tirana (Albania). In comparing how housing is produced, distributed and inhabited, we seek to contribute to a wider understanding of the relationalities of housing.  相似文献
