针对电镀后模具零件型面出现开裂的问题,介绍了模具零件电镀的工作原理,并从模具结构强度、母材金相组织、模具热处理工艺及电镀过程的氢脆控制等方面剖析了模具零件开裂失效的机理。在此基础上,提出了优化铸件合金配比、电镀前模具零件型面裂纹检测与修复等改进措施并开展工程试验。试验结果表明,通过采取以上措施,避免了模具零件电镀裂纹的产生并延长模具铬层的使用寿命,可为提升模具零件电镀质量与汽车覆盖件成形质量提供借鉴。  相似文献

In safety critical components, the capability of an inspection may need to be demonstrated by an independent process of inspection qualification (IQ). Due to the skill level of the manpower involved, IQ is both costly and time consuming. Therefore, an approach that can aid the production of the required documentation would be beneficial. This paper presents a practical example in the form of a case study, which demonstrates how an intelligent approach to IQ, utilising smart software operating within the context of a non-destructive testing Workbench, can be used to evaluate the capability of an ultrasonic inspection. This is accomplished using four interactive software tools which include: a beam-coverage analyser, a worst-case defect search engine, a flaw modelling expert system and a case-based reasoning system to retrieve previously measured data. This paper discusses the motivation for such an approach and the benefits it provides.  相似文献

This paper deals with the influence of an aerated/anoxic transient phase on the corrosion of ferrous matters. Actually in the context of radioactive waste disposal, metallic components could be exposed to fluctuating environmental conditions that could change the corrosion mechanisms and influence the corrosion rates. Archaeological analogues corroded in an aerated soil were exposed to an aerated/anoxic transient in an isotopic labeled solution. The corrosion mechanism in anoxic conditions does not seem to be influenced by the pre-existing thick corrosion layer formed in an aerated environment and the estimated corrosion rate is of few micrometres per year.  相似文献

In this paper an alternative concept and understanding of knowledge representation in neural networks is presented. It is based on the assumption that (natural or artificial) neural structures are responsible for the generation of an organism's behavior which is in interaction with its environment. This requires a completely new interpretation of neural systems as knowledge representing devices. The concepts of constructivism second-order cybernetics, embodiment of knowledge and functional fitness play an important role in this context. The idea of an structural isomorphism between the environment and representing structures will be given up in favor of a more sophisticated epistemological concept and constructive relation. As an implication knowledge becomes system relative and ‘private’— an alternative understanding of language, symbols, communication, etc., which is based on these epistemological and neuroscientific ideas will be discussed.  相似文献

A theoretical study was undertaken to determine if infrared thermography is an appropriate method to identify the condition of railway track ballast. Within this study the optimal conditions for an infrared survey were established.A laboratory experiment was undertaken to identify clean and spent ballast using an infrared camera. By cooling the ballast and watching it heat up to room temperature over time a difference in the rate of heat transfer between the two types of ballast was observed.A field trial of the infrared camera was undertaken over an operational track as part of the work within a normal track maintenance possession. The field trial identified an area of dirty ballast within a section of clean ballast and the findings were also confirmed by using ground penetrating radar and a trial pit. The laboratory and fieldwork are described in detail and sample infrared images as well as visual images of the same area are given — along with calculated values for the emissivity.The findings proved that it is possible to calibrate an infrared camera so that it can determine the condition of the ballast. Also from the success of the field trial it was shown that infrared thermography is a suitable method of identifying the condition of ballast on an operational track  相似文献

The physical aspects of the conversion of electric energy into mechanical energy (an EHD pump) and mechanical energy into electric energy (an EHD generator) are described. Examples of the practical design of such converters are given: an EHD pump at an “electric wind” in a poor conducting liquid; an EHD wind generator; an EHD flowmeter generator; a Kelvin generator. The obtained results can be used as a basis for the development and design of working EHD energy converters.  相似文献

Drilling is the most frequently employed operation of secondary machining for fiber-reinforced materials owing to the need for structure joining. Delamination is one of the serious concerns during drilling. Practical experience shows that an eccentric twist drill or an eccentric candle stick drill can degrade the quality of the fiber reinforced material. Comprehensive delamination models for the delamination induced by an eccentric twist drill and an eccentric candle stick drill in the drilling of composite materials have been constructed in the present study. For an eccentric twist drill and an eccentric candle stick drill, the critical thrust force that will produce delamination decreases with increasing point eccentricity ξ. The results agree with industrial experience. The need for control of drill eccentricity during drill regrinding has been proved analytically by the proposed models.  相似文献

This work studies the influence of various parameters, such as temperature and humidity, fly ash content and chloride concentration, on the relationship between half-cell potential and the corrosion level of rebar in concrete. Results show that the half-cell potential decreases with an increase in temperature under the same corrosion level of rebar, and half-cell potential decreases with an increase in corrosion level of rebar under the same temperature. The half-cell potential decreases with an increase in chloride concentration and increases with an increase in fly ash content when fly ash content is lower than 50% under the same corrosion level of rebar, and the half-cell potential decreases with an increase in the corrosion level of rebar under the same chloride concentration and fly ash content.  相似文献
