OpenPBS接入GT4平台的一个实现方案

根据OpenPBS与Globus Toolkit4.0不可兼容这一问题,提出了一个新的方案来解决这个问题.在Globus Toolkit4.0与OpenPBS之间增加一个中介:Globus Toolkit2.4.通过这个中介,实现网格作业的资源管理,为用户提供了一个透明的网格资源的使用方法.先介绍了这个系统的设计思想、系统结构,然后详细说明了具体实现中用到的关键技术,包括Globus Toolkit2.4上作业的执行过程、Globus Toolkit2.4与Globus Toolkit4.0间的连接问题、节点的状态检测等.     

基于Globus Toolkit4的网格服务的实现

网格是1990年代发展起来的一项新技术。网格技术应用的关键是要在各个网格节点上实现网格服务。Globus联盟开发的Globus Toolkit工具包能够用来编写基于网格的应用程序。主要介绍了Globus Toolkit4的概念、体系结构及其与OGSA、WSRF、Web Services的层次关系。最后通过实例说明了利用GT4开发和实现网格服务的完整过程。     

应用Globus Toolkit实现网格服务

Globus对信息安全、资源管理、信息服务、数据管理以及应用开发环境等网格计算的关键理论和技术进行了广泛的研究,开发出能在多种平台上运行的网格计算工具包Globus Toolkit.此工具包能够用来帮助规划和组建大型的网格实验和应用平台,开发适合大型网格系统运行的应用程序.本文分析网格计算软件Globus Toolkit 3（GT3）的体系结构以及安装方法,然后以一个简单的网格计算为例在基于网格计算软件GT3的网格平台上实现网格服务.

网格计算是继Internet和Web技术之后，第三个信息技术浪潮，最终将改变分布式资源的共享和服务方式。Globus Toolkit是在网格计算领域应用非常广泛的模型。主要介绍当前Globus Toolkit实现的基本服务和核心体系结构，以及将要适应更广泛应用的体系结构模型。     

局域网的网格计算平台

网格计算技术正在成为计算机领域的新热点.在网格服务的研究开发中,GlobusToolkit是首选的网格中间件.GlobusToolkit和Linux均为开放源代码软件,加上Linux系统良好的稳定性和兼容性,因此两者的结合是很自然的.详细讨论了利用Globus Toolkir 3.2（GT3.2.1）和Rdd Hat Linux 9.0在局域网内搭建网格计算平台的安装配置过程,展示了利用Globus Toolkit3.2在Red Hat Linux 9.0下开发网格服务的方法.     

构建校园教育网格体系的研究

本文介绍了网格的概念、发展动因、体系结构、相关技术及其应用，简要介绍了基于OGSA框架下的Globus Toolkit，对网格技术在校园教育网格中的应用开发做了整体上分析。     

Globus：网格世界的Linux

网格技术出现于20世纪90年代,它的目的是想利用高速互联网把分布于不同地理位置的计算机、数据库、存储器和软件等资源连成整体,就像一台超级计算机一样,为用户提供一体化信息服务,其核心思想是:“整个因特网就是一台计算机!”由全球网格论坛(GGF)下属Globus项目组成员联合开发的Globus Toolkit标准工具包,已被公认为当前建立网格系统和开发网格软件事实的参考标准。     

网格计算安全构架及其实现

网格要实现分布资源的共享,必须构建新的安全体系,制定更高要求的安全机制。通过分析网格计算的安全特性和安全策略,研究了网格计算的安全体系结构,讨论了结构中的主要技术和用户任务的安全认证过程。介绍了Globus Toolkit 3(GT3)中安全机制的实现,探讨了Globus Toolkit 3为体现OGSA思想对安全机制和任务分配流程的改进。     

基于Globus的邮件系统Gmail的设计

提出了Gmail概念。Gmail系统是在Globus Toolkit基础上开发的一个简单网格由件系统，这个系统不但提供了类似网络磁盘的功能，而且实现用户数据转发来方便用户间的数据交换。阐述Gmail系统的设计思想，进行了分析和初步实现。     

利用网格技术实现校园FTP系统

分析了FTP服务的原理和缺点,给出了一个基于网格的校园FTP系统的设计模型.采用Globus Toolkit的MDS和Grid FTP这两个组件实现了网络资源监测和发现以及网格数据传输机制.     

The MAUI Toolkit: Groupware Widgets for Group Awareness

Group awareness is an important part of synchronous collaboration, and support for group awareness can greatly improve groupware usability. However, it is still difficult to build groupware that supports group awareness. To address this problem, we have developed the Multi-User Awareness UI toolkit (MAUI) toolkit, a Java toolkit with a broad suite of awareness-enhanced UI components. The toolkit contains both extensions of standard Swing widgets, and groupware-specific components such as telepointers. All components have added functionality for collecting, distributing, and visualizing group awareness information. The toolkit packages components as JavaBeans, allowing wide code reuse, easy integration with IDEs, and drag-and-drop creation of working group-aware interfaces. The toolkit provides the first ever set of UI widgets that are truly collaboration-aware, and provides them in a way that greatly simplifies the construction and testing of rich groupware interfaces.     

基于词典的MIS应用系统生成工具

管理信息系统的快速开发与应用对提高生产效率和管理现代化水平具有重要的意义,本文作者在总结多个ＭＩＳ应用系统开发经验的基础上,开发了基于词典的ＭＩＳ应用系统生成工具,以加速ＭＩＳ应用系统的开发。本文着重介绍该生成工具的ＦｏｘｐｒｏＦｏｒ Ｄｏｓ版本。     

Object-oriented interactive mechanism design and analysis

We have developed a Ch Mechanism Toolkit for analysis and design of mechanisms. The toolkit was developed using Ch, an embeddable C/C++ interpreter with high-level extensions. The toolkit consists of animation program QuickAnimation^TM and a collection of classes for design and analysis of commonly used mechanisms. The Ch Mechanism Toolkit allows users to write simple programs to solve complicated planar mechanism problems. The toolkit can handle mechanisms ranging from the simple fourbar linkage to various sixbar linkages. The Ch Mechanism Toolkit can also be used to design cam-follower systems. It is an effective tool for engineering practice as well as for teaching and learning mechanism design and analysis. This paper describes the design and implementation of the Ch Mechanism Toolkit and its applications.Submitted to Engineering with Computers

RCD: a toolkit for rheumatic valvular and congenital heart defect diagnosis

Rheumatic valvular heart disease (RVHD) and congenital heart defect (CHD) are one of the major causes of child deaths in Pakistan. According to a survey, prevalence of RVHD in Pakistan is among the highest in the world and 3.9 % of children suffer from CHD annually. If the diagnostic treatment is done earlier, then the diseases can be controlled before reaching the critical stage. Due to the lack of physicians in poor countries, there is a need for an automatic diagnostic toolkit for congenital and RVHD so that the early and accurate diagnosis of disease could be made possible even in the absence of expert physicians. In this paper, a diagnostic toolkit for rheumatic valvular and congenital heart defect is designed and developed using feed-forward back-propagation network based on symptomatic and clinical parameters. The system is built using MatLab toolkit for neural networks and graphical user interface.     

A Toolkit for Generating Sentences from Context-Free Grammars

Producing sentences from a grammar, according to various criteria, is required in many applications. It is also a basic building block for grammar engineering. This paper presents a toolkit for context-free grammars, which mainly consists of several algorithms for sentence generation or enumeration and for coverage analysis for context-free grammars. The toolkit deals with general context-free grammars. Besides providing implementations of algorithms, the toolkit also provides a simple graphical user interface, through which the user can use the toolkit directly. The toolkit is implemented in Java and is available at http://lcs.ios.ac.cn/~zhiwu/toolkit.php. In the paper, the overview of the toolkit and the major algorithms implemented in the toolkit are presented, and experimental results and preliminary applications of the toolkit are also contained.
