Main trends in the theory of atomic functions are outlined. These functions have been studied for more than 35 years and gave
rise to new research areas in mathematical analysis, approximation theory, numerical methods, etc. Atomic functions are infinitely
differentiable solutions with compact support to special functional-differential equations.

An approximation-prediction problem for functions represented by empirical data is analyzed. A class of functions as predictors,
the so-called RFT-transformers, based on the least-square and superposition methods is proposed. Special classes of dynamic
systems with delay are introduced and analyzed to obtain classical results for calculation of gradients. These results are
used to optimize RFT-transformers.

A generalized concept of robust dissipativity is introduced and theorems on the analysis of this property are formulated and
proved with the help of the Lyapunov functions method. It is proposed to use a specially constructed sequence of sets of Lyapunov
functions that can allow one to improve the initial estimate of the boundary set of a dissipative system up to the establishment
of the asymptotic robust stability property in the limiting case. An example of investigating the dissipativity of a linear
discrete system with unknown parameters under additive perturbation is given.

A multicriterion Boolean problem of lexicographic optimization with partial criteria represented by moduli (absolute values)
of linear functions is considered. Five types of stability of a set of lexicographic optima under “small” variations in the

The nature of a contradiction (conflict) between two belief functions is investigated. Alternative ways of distributing the
contradiction among nonempty subsets of frame of discernment are studied. The paper employes a new approach to understanding
contradictions and introduces an original notion of potential contradiction. A method of an associative combination of generalized
belief functions – minC combination and its derivation – is presented as part of the new approach. A proportionalization of
generalized results is suggested as well.

A set-theoretical approach to the non-disjoint decomposition of different forms of representation of Boolean functions of
n variables is considered. This approach is based on the method of p,q-partitions of conjuncterms and on the concept of a
decomposition clone. Two techniques of searching for some non-disjoint functional decomposition are described. Theorems on
the non-disjoint decomposition of full and partial functions and their systems are formulated. The proposed approach is illustrated
by examples.

A numerical method for solution of boundary-value problems of mathematical physics is described that is based on the use of
radial atomic basis functions. Atomic functions are compactly supported solutions of functional-differential equations of
special form. The convergence of this numerical method is investigated for the case of using an atomic function in solving
the Dirichlet boundary-value problem for the Laplace equation.

The paper deals with quadrature and cubature formulas, optimal and nearly optimal in accuracy, used to evaluate integrals
of quickly oscillating functions in a class of bounded functions with piecewise continuous first derivatives bounded by a
constant in one-and multidimensional cases. Optimal estimates for the numerical integration error and upper bounds are obtained
for these integrals in case of strong oscillation of subintegral functions.

and other parameters of biologically active points (BAPs) is investigated. New methods are described for diagnostics and correction
