In this paper, we consider the problem of computing numerical solutions for Itô stochastic differential equations (SDEs). The five-stage Milstein (FSM) methods are constructed for solving SDEs driven by an m-dimensional Wiener process. The FSM methods are fully explicit methods. It is proved that the FSM methods are convergent with strong order 1 for SDEs driven by an m-dimensional Wiener process. The analysis of stability (with multidimensional Wiener process) shows that the mean-square stable regions of the FSM methods are unbounded. The analysis of stability shows that the mean-square stable regions of the methods proposed in this paper are larger than the Milstein method and three-stage Milstein methods. 相似文献

Symmetric, symplectic and trigonometrically fitted Runge–Kutta–Nyström (SSTFRKN) methods for second-order differential equations with oscillatory solutions are investigated. Symmetry, symplecticity and trigonometric fitting conditions for modified Runge–Kutta–Nyström (RKN) methods are presented. Order conditions for modified RKN methods are derived via the special Nyström tree theory. Two explicit SSTFRKN methods with variable nodes are derived. The two new methods are zero-dissipative due to symplecticity. Their dispersion orders are analysed and their periodicity regions are obtained. The results of numerical experiments show the robustness and competence of the new SSTFRKN methods compared with some highly efficient codes in the recent literature. 相似文献

In this paper, we present a comprehensive review of methods for spectral analysis of nonuniformly sampled data. For a given finite set of nonuniformly sampled data, a reasonable way to choose the Nyquist frequency and the resampling time are discussed. The various existing methods for spectral analysis of nonuniform data are grouped and described under four broad categories: methods based on least squares; methods based on interpolation techniques; methods based on slotted resampling; methods based on continuous time models. The performance of the methods under each category is evaluated on simulated data sets. The methods are then classified according to their capabilities to handle different types of spectrum, signal models and sampling patterns. Finally the performance of the different methods is evaluated on two real life nonuniform data sets. Apart from the spectral analysis methods, methods for exact signal reconstruction from nonuniform data are also reviewed. 相似文献

In this paper we discuss new split-step methods for solving systems of Itô stochastic differential equations (SDEs). The methods are based on a L-stable (strongly stable) second-order split Adams–Moulton Formula for stiff ordinary differential equations in collusion with Milstein methods for use on SDEs which are stiff in both the deterministic and stochastic components. The L-stability property is particularly useful when the drift components are stiff and contain widely varying decay constants. For SDEs wherein the diffusion is especially stiff, we consider balanced and modified balanced split-step methods which posses larger regions of mean-square stability. Strong order convergence one is established and stability regions are displayed. The methods are tested on problems with one and two noise channels. Numerical results show the effectiveness of the methods in the pathwise approximation of stiff SDEs when compared to some existing split-step methods. 相似文献

This paper proposes two methods for detecting and reconstructing sensor faults using sliding mode observers. In both methods, fictitious systems are introduced in which the original sensor fault appears as an actuator fault. The original sensor faults are then reconstructed using a ‘secondary’ sliding mode observer. For both methods, there are certain conditions which must be satisfied for successful fault detection and reconstruction. The methods are demonstrated using a chemical process example. 相似文献
