计算机可理解的统一信息模型是基于语义的医学影像检索研究的数据基础. 讨论了医学影像及其相关信息使用中存在的数据异构、图像标注术语及语法不一致及数据格式不支持现有数据挖掘和图像语义检索的问题, 提出了一种基于本体的医学影像信息集成方案. 在分析医学影像信息来源及其关系基础上, 结合领域专家知识, 使用斯坦福大学提出的本体构建“七步法”设计了医学影像信息本体模型, 实现了本体模型的持久化、原始数据提取和数据整合, 解决了医学影像信息使用中存在的问题, 该信息模型已用于医学影像检索系统中. 相似文献

In recent years, the decentralized development of ontologies has led to the generation of multiple ontologies of overlapping knowledge. This heterogeneity problem can be tackled by integrating existing ontologies to build a single coherent one. Ontology integration has been investigated during the last two decades, but it is still a challenging task. In this article, we provide a comprehensive survey of all ontology integration aspects. We discuss related notions and scrutinize existing techniques and literature approaches. We also detail the role of ontology matching in the ontology integration process. Indeed, the ontology community has adopted the splitting of the ontology integration problem into matching, merging and repairing sub-tasks, where matching is a necessary preceding step for merging, and repairing can be included in the matching process or performed separately. Ontology matching and merging systems have become quite proficient, however the trickiest part lies in the repairing step. We also focus on the case of a holistic integration of multiple heterogeneous ontologies, which needs further exploration. Finally, we investigate challenges, open issues, and future directions of the ontology integration and matching areas. 相似文献

This paper develops an XML query rewriting and ontology integration mechanism, which acts as a global-as-view (GAV) approach to represent and query semantic information in mediator based information integration environment. Global Manufacturing Virtual Network (GMVN) is a manufacturing architecture, which integrates all kinds of enterprises and production centers to construct and reconstruct agile supply network, and provides manufacturing services on unpredictable and fragmented market demand. However due to the geographical and cultural differences, and lack of a unified knowledge expressing and intelligent reasoning framework for GMVN, the system elements can not be integrated well. To achieve intelligent integration of the geographically dispersed worldwide manufacturing resource, capacity and service, the intelligent integration framework of Semantic Bill of X (S-BOX) is proposed by combining with the technologies of ontology, Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL), Bill of X (BOX). Using this framework, we analyze the characteristics, structure of GMVN system, and construct GMVN oriented S-BOX models which include the ontology structure models and the reasoning rules sets. With the ontology structure models, we can express the elements and the relationships of GMVN. And with the reasoning rules sets, the business characteristics of the GMVN systems will be transformed into the SWRL rules. Therefore, the integrated expression and intelligent reasoning of the manufacturing system elements can be realized in the semantic knowledge layer. An ontology database is a basic relational database management system that models an ontology plus its instances. To reason
over the transitive closure of instances in the subsumption hierarchy, for example, an ontology database can either unfold
views at query time or propagate assertions using triggers at load time. In this paper, we use existing benchmarks to evaluate
our method—using triggers—and we demonstrate that by forward computing inferences, we not only improve query time, but the
improvement appears to cost only more space (not time). However, we go on to show that the true penalties were simply opaque
to the benchmark, i.e., the benchmark inadequately captures load-time costs. We have applied our methods to two case studies
in biomedicine, using ontologies and data from genetics and neuroscience to illustrate two important applications: first,
ontology databases answer ontology-based queries effectively; second, using triggers, ontology databases detect instance-based
inconsistencies—something not possible using views. Finally, we demonstrate how to extend our methods to perform data integration
