A two-component waterborne polyurethane system with a 250 g/l VOC has been formulated to meet the performance requirements
of the automotive refinish market.
This paper discusses an experimental study to develop a two-component water-reducible polyurethane coating using a tertiary
aliphatic polyisocyanate crosslinker with dry times, appearance, and reactivity equivalent to a two-component solventborne
system. The effects of acrylic polyol monomer composition, glass transition temperature (Tg), and hydroxyl concentration on drytime and ambient cure film performance have been determined. The effects of particle size
distribution of the formulated coating on performance were examined. It was found that smaller particle size provides overall
improved film properties, i.e., faster dry time, increased hardness, and faster development of solvent resistance. The relationships
of both acrylic polyol composition and formulation variables on the particle size distribution are discussed.

本文采用革团贡献方法估算了双组份涂料中丙烯酸聚合物及固化剂HDI缩二毛的三维溶解度参数,并以此为基础选择了体系合适的溶剂:讨论了涂料成膜组份之间的相容性,分析了“雾影”的成因及消除“雾影”的方法,本实验将溶解度参数作为丙烯酸聚合物及其涂料配方设计的一项重要参数,并在此基础上制得了性能优良的丙烯酸聚氨酯涂料。 相似文献

The performance of acrylic polyurethane composite coating and aliphatic urethane composite coating in 3.5% NaCl solution under ultra-violet radiation was studied with methods of EIS, SEM and FTIR. For aliphatic polyurethane coating, the coating resistance decreased and the coating capacitance and porosity increased more quickly than acrylic polyurethane coating. The acrylic polyurethane composite coatings showed better performance than aliphatic polyurethane composite coatings. IR spectra showed that under UV irradiation conditions, the failure mechanism of the two polyurethane coatings was the transformation of sec-amide to primary amides. The fractured bonds in acrylic polyurethane were mainly C–O bonds, while in aliphatic polyurethane they were mainly C–N bonds. The lower protection property of aliphatic polyurethane coating may be mainly attributed to the C–N bonds which are more liable to be broken. 相似文献

The effects of various additives and solvents on a coating’s performance in a two-component waterborne polyurethane coating
system are studied using a statistical experimental design method. Using a blocked arrangement of fractional factorial design
matrices, six different independent variables, including the use of different additives, catalysts, as well as solvents at
different levels, were examined for their effects on various coating performance parameters, such as gloss, hardness, viscosity,
and chemical resistance.
Statistical analysis revealed several significant effects of these additives on the coating performances. Most importantly,
several two-factor interactions between additives were also found to significantly influence the performance properties of
the coating. These interactions could be very difficult to detect using traditional one-at-a-time experimental approaches.
The information obtained from this study could be used for designing coating systems with superior performance properties.

研制了一种室温固化型ABS塑料专用保护涂层体系,该体系包括单组分ABS灰白底漆和双组分冰白丙烯酸聚氨酯面漆,通过对涂覆保护涂层ABS试样耐冲击试验以及涂层本身耐QUV老化试验的考察,证明该专用涂层体系对材料具有优异的保护作用,明显改善了ABS制品的外观并大大延长了其使用寿命.研制的该ABS塑料专用保护涂层已在南京某大型汽车零部件生产公司取得了较好的应用,具有很好的市场前景. 相似文献

The failure process of an acrylic polyurethane coating in simulated sea water under a wet‐dry cyclic condition and immersion condition was studied with the methods of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that the failure rate of acrylic polyurethane coating under the condition of wet‐dry alternation is obviously greater than that under complete immersion. Under wet‐dry condition, both the porosity and the water absorptivity of the coating are also greater than those under complete immersion condition. Owing to the physical effect of wet‐dry alternation, the fillers in the coating surface layer may fall off and result in micro‐pores, which could multiply the defects in the coating and accelerate the coating degradation. FT‐IR analysis shows that the isocyanate group in the coating not only participates in the curing of coating, but also hydrolyzes with water molecule. The C‐O bonds fracture partly due to hydrolysis of the main molecule chains, which is one reason of the coating failure. 通过丙烯酸酯类单体与含氟丙烯酸单体的溶液聚合,制备了高固体份低粘度的含氟多羟基丙烯酸树脂。讨论了反应温度、引发剂、氟单体、羟基值等因素对树脂分子量、黏度以及性能的影响。通过优化条件,结果表明制备的含氟丙烯酸树脂,数均分子量小于6000,分子量分布<1.5,羟基含量>30 mgKOH/g,高固体份低粘度特性显著。通过与固化剂N75按质量比1∶5配制成涂料,常温固化成膜后,测定其各项性能均优于普通丙烯酸聚氨酯树脂涂料。 相似文献

介绍了丙烯酸/聚氨酯涂料的制备和性能测试工艺流程以及蓖麻油改性TDI制备聚氨酯、丙烯酸树脂和丙烯酸改性聚氨酯涂料的合成步骤。通过正交实验对羟基丙烯酸树脂和耐磨性填料———二硫化钼、氧化铬和聚四氟乙烯的用量进行了优化,获得了涂料的最优化配方(用质量分数表示):A组分:聚氨酯3%,醋酸丁酯3%;B组分:羟基丙烯酸1.5%,二硫化钼0.3%,三氧化二铬0.4%,聚四氟乙烯0.6%,混合溶剂5%,十二烷基硫酸钠0.12%,KH-5500.025%,二丁基二月桂酸锡0.0125%。所得涂膜的表干时间约为30min,实干时间约为36h。涂层的附着力1级,硬度1B。在3.3kg的载荷下,磨轮旋转1500圈后,涂层磨痕弦长6.5mm,说明涂料耐磨性优良。试样在质量分数分别为5%和15%的盐酸、氢氧化钠溶液中浸泡一周后,涂层无起泡、润胀和脱落现象,说明涂层耐蚀性优良。 相似文献

An approach to modify the properties of UV curable polyurethane coatings by altering the amount and functionality of acrylic reactive diluents, in order to optimize the coating performance, is demonstrated. Based on the rheology analysis, a model of the rheological behavior of the UV curable materials depending on the amount and type of a reactive diluent in the composition is demonstrated in this study. The relationships between the rheological behavior, the mechanical properties and adhesion of the coatings prepared from polyurethane UV curable compositions containing different amounts and functionalities of acrylic reactive diluents, have been investigated and discussed in this study. Based on the results of the study, the desired properties of UV cured coatings can be modeled and controlled without changing the nature of a particularly selected oligomer, thus maintaining the advantages of its chemical structure in a coating composition. 相似文献

超支化聚氨酯是一种新型的功能性树脂,UV固化超支化聚氨酯丙烯酸树脂作为一种新型的涂料成膜物质,具有固化速度快、涂膜性能好、环境污染小等优点,对制备环境友好、性能优异的产品以及用其改性普通的UV光固化树脂具有实际意义,展现出良好的发展前景。本文就国内外有关UV固化超支化聚氨酯丙烯酸树脂的制备方法、固化动力学和固化流变行为等方面的研究工作进行了综述,并介绍了UV固化超支化聚氨酯丙烯酸树脂在改善涂膜力学性能和阻尼性能等方面的应用研究现状,提出完善UV固化超支化聚氨酯丙烯酸树脂的基础研究和在此基础上的相关产品的开发将是今后研究的主要发展方向。 相似文献
