Yannawa Wastewater Treatment plant (Phase 1) serves a population equivalent of 500,000 and is located on a restricted site within the city of Bangkok, Thailand. Secondary treatment is based on the CASS sequencing batch reactor (SBR) process and the plant is one of the largest multi-storey SBRs in the world. The limitation of available site area, the ground conditions and the characteristics of the wastewater to be treated set a series of challenges for the designers, contractors and commissioning and operational staff. This paper briefly describes the collection system, the process selection and the treatment streams of the wastewater treatment plant. The SBR secondary treatment plant is described in more detail. The problems that arose during commissioning and operation and the solutions made possible by the use of an SBR type of process are discussed. Details of plant performance during performance testing and during the first three years of plant operation are provided. 相似文献

京密引水渠技术改造工程于2000年6月1日被列为北京市26项重点工程之一,2000年8月15日在第83次市长办公会上又被列为缓解北京市水资源紧缺的9项紧急对策措施之一,属供水应急工程.此项工程在各部门各级领导的关心和支持下,采用了急事急办、特事特办的方式,于2000年9月21日正式开工,经过55天的努力奋战,已移交管理单位使用. 1 工程任务 (1)工程项目:①渠道衬砌70.6km;②渠道整修1.1km;③清污闸2座(5孔);④水位调节闸1座;⑤分水闸改造63座;⑥扬水泵台11座;⑦水簸箕31座;⑧观测井11座. (2)完成主要工程量:①清运与回填土方192.56万m3;②回填砂砾料28.94万m3;③回填粗砂6.93万m3;④现浇砼21.41万m2;⑤块石砼6.93万m3;⑥浆砌石8.99万m3;⑦砌筑料石2.93万m3;⑧铺聚乙烯膜39.14万m2;⑨铺复合防渗膜109.54万m2;(10)聚苯板49.05万m2. (3)主要拆迁工作量:①各类通讯电缆42道;②砍伐树木4917棵. 相似文献

城市规模扩展导致耕地急剧减少,研究城市规模对于保护耕地,提高城市用地集约度有重要意义。本研究分析了1998年~2005年期间福州市城市规模的变化趋势,以福州市建成区为例对GM(1,n)和BP神经网络在此类研究中的应用进行了对比。经检验,BP神经网络比灰色模型拟合良好,这是对建成区面积预测方法有益的探索。 相似文献

1. | The side curtains as necessary cutoff elements of the al-Qadisiyah hydro development were made in an optimal design variant, on time, and with a high quality. A considerable technical and economic effect was obtained by eliminating excessive volumes of works specified by the original design as a result of a combined analysis of the data of engineering surveys, investigations of experimental grouting works, and optimization of the grouting technology. |
2. | The index of unit cement absorption in the control holes used as the criterion of sufficiency of grouting on the side curtains should be used everywhere where the purpose of grouting works is to detect and eliminate large cavities and fissures. |
3. | Grouting works on elimination of karst cavities and large fissures, being in essence infill grouting, require the development of an industrial technology of the works with the use of considerable volumes of grouts (concretes) and use of a large number of machines and mechanisms (concrete plants, mixers, concrete pumps, etc.). |
