The results of modeling the technology of area-end ore drawing under caved rocks are adduced. The advantages of the new method
over the end ore drawing are shown. A method of calculating losses and impoverishment depending on sublevel and breaking parameters
as well as on ore drawing mode is presented.

Absract The effect of electrical blast parameters is studied for grinding mineral materials by example of copper-nickel ore. It is
shown that the average energy consumed by the electrical blasting is within 5–50 J/g. The particle disintegration mechanism
has been considered at high and low electric conductivity of ore. It is established that grinding and separation of particles
by size are possible to be performed conjointly in the same apparatus.

The experimental data are reported on intensification of the copper-nickel grinding by feeding fluorinated saturated mono-atomic
alcohols of a general formula H - (CF2CF2)

- CH2 - OH into a mill. The feeding of this reagent into a mill at the rate of 25–100 g/t of feed provides better exposure of aggregates
in the ore preparation circuit thus intensifying the subsequent ore flotation. The increment of copper and nickel recovery
into a concentrate amounts to more than 4%.

Conclusion In this work we have found that out of the 40 ingredients of the diamond-bearing ore, not more than five samples luminesce.
The ore contains less than 1% luminescing samples whose intensity is close to the intensity of Raman scattering in diamonds.
The obtained data as well as the relatively low level of the luminescence background and a very narrow Raman scattering peak
suggest that the Raman scattering method is highly promising for extraction of diamonds and other minerals from the ore.

The effect of rock-forming minerals on grindability and amorphization of sulfide minerals: pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and pentlandite
is considered on quartz as an example. It is established that quartz appreciably retards the grinding of sulfide minerals
of −0.5 + 0.2 mm in ore size, and above all, the time of grinding down to −0.05 mm in the product size increases 1.5–2 times.
The separate milling of minerals, essentially differing in hardness (1.5–2 times), is recommended to optimize the grinding
process and to cut down the power consumption.

The author substantiates the choice of new selective agents PTTC, HPEDETC, and Hostaflot M-91 to float platiniferous sulfide
minerals from rebellious ores. The study agent modes imply the use of PTTC, being a component of modified xanthate and providing
6–7% increase in recovery of copper, nickel, and PGM in flotation of the low-sulfide platiniferous copper-nickel ore from
the Fedorovo-Pansky deposit. The substitution of HPEDETC and Hostaflot M-91 for xanthate makes it possible to increase recovery
of platinum by 5.7–13%, palladium by 4–9% and 2–4 times the noble metal content in the flotation concentrate. 相似文献

The intensity of magnetic fields and specific magnetic forces of the systems made of rare-earth constant magnets of opposite
polarity and different configurations were measured. The results were used to reconstruct magnetic systems of dry magnetic
separators, namely, substitution of neodymium-iron-barium for barium ferrite. The new systems installed in 55 separators at
“Evrazruda” processing plants improve parameters of magnetite ore processing.

The results are presented for investigations on improving beneficiation process of mineral raw material of complex composition
by way of example of rebellious polymetallic ore from the Zhairemsky deposit. It is found that the production of conditioned
collective concentrates by accelerated electron action is accompanied by reduction in losses of lead and zinc with the tailings
that are 2–3 times less than in direct selective flotation.

Conclusions The results of investigations have shown that the dressability of the ores depends markedly on their textural-structural characteristics.
As a result of structural differences, the optimal preparation conditions of the ores are inappropriate; this is the basis
for recommending separate reprocessing of ores with markedly different material compositions.
The mineral composition of the ores has a no less marked effect on the dressability. Thus ores processed with residual magnetite,
which promotes fuller extraction of the ore minerals from the tailings, gives poorer concentrates under the same magnetic
separation conditions, owing to capture of a large number of concretions of the ore minerals with quartz. Better performances
are obtained for coarse-grained medium-laminar quartzites of the VI iron horizon, poorer performances by laminar, fine-grained
quartzites of the V iron horizon, which contain an intense impregnation of fine-grained quartz in the ore aggregates and grains.
