通过分析磁光光纤Bragg光栅中偏振消光比特性,提出一种利用峰值偏振消光比测量磁场的新方案。利用OptiSystem软件仿真表明,当光栅耦合系数远大于磁光耦合参量时,峰值偏振消光比与外加磁场的对数值成线性关系,与理论分析结果一致。文章还给出了峰值消光比与光栅长度、折射率调制深度和费尔德常数之间关系的解析式,可方便地用于分析磁场的测量性能。 相似文献

采用光纤布拉格光栅制备折射率传感器,研究光纤光栅的折射率传感灵敏度与其包层直径之间的关系。理论分析可得,光栅包层直径越小,Bragg波长的偏移量随环境折射率变化的影响越大,这样就能使实验中光栅所反射的LD光功率变化(传感灵敏度)越明显。利用氢氟酸溶液腐蚀光栅包层的方法,得到不同包层直径的光纤Bragg光栅折射率传感器。实验指出,包层直径减小时,光栅可传感的折射率范围会缩小,而其折射率的传感灵敏度却会增大,如包层直径为8.9 μm时,折射率的检测范围为1.3872~1.4730,其最大灵敏度值达到了224.0320 dBm/RIU。 相似文献

Fabrication of strong fibre Bragg gratings in singlemode arsenic selenide (As2Se3) fibre for use at telecom wavelengths by the transverse holographic method is reported. Photoinduced decrease in the material refractive index was achieved using low-intensity CW illumination at a wavelength of 785 nm. A peak grating strength of 23.7 dB is seen, with inferred change in the average refractive index as large as 4.7 times 10-3. 相似文献

The bit error rate (BER) performance of a superstructured fiber Bragg grating (SSFBG)-based optical code division multiple
access (OCDMA) system is investigated with different input pulse widths and grating refractive index modulation amplitudes,
and the corresponding crosstalk ratio is considered at different data-rates. Simulation results show that increasing the input
pulse width or grating refractive index modulation amplitude will degrade the BER performance apparently. Moreover, with fixed
code length and chip-rate detection, a lower data-rate system has better tolerance to an increasing input pulse width, while

光码分多址(OCDMA)系统中,编解码器的性能是影响系统整体性能的关键因素之一,而波长漂移会影响编解码的性能.在分析等效相移超结构光纤光栅(EPS-SSFBG)作为光码分多址相位编解码器的基础上,仿真研究了不同码字、不同码长、不同编码带宽、不同编码效率和不同折射率调制深度的编解码器对波长漂移的容忍度(WDT).仿真结果表明,光源与编解码器之问的波长漂移容忍度较大;若光源脉宽相对较宽,光源的中心波长偏移编解码器的中心波长一定值时,解码输出的自相关峰旁瓣比(P/W)反而提高;不同码字、不同编码效率、不同折射率调制深度都会不同程度地影响波长漂移容忍度. 相似文献

Effective refractive indexes of the core mode and various cladding modes of a tapered single-mode step-index fiber were calculated for identifying the cladding modes of phase matching for coupling with the core mode, caused by a prewritten Bragg grating together with an applied flexural wave (microbending) in the tapered region. With these coupling mechanisms, the previously reported reflection wavelength switching could be well interpreted. Between the core mode and a cladding mode, the Bragg grating caused contradirectional coupling and the flexural wave resulted in codirectional coupling of either first- or second-order diffraction. Meanwhile, the period of the acoustic-induced flexural wave was calibrated to be a few hundreds of micrometers. Based on the phase-matching calculations, the relationship between cladding radius and flexural wave period with a chosen wavelength for reflection switching was provided. Such design considerations should be helpful in implementing wavelength switches, based on flexural wave modulation of fiber Bragg grating (FBG), for the applications of wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) fiber communications 相似文献
