理论分析了被动调Q固体激光泵浦的光参量振荡器。利用激光二极管泵浦,Cr4+:YAG被动调Q Nd:YAG激光泵浦的内腔光学参量振荡器,磷酸氧钛钾(KTP)晶体作为非线性晶体,获得了高重复频率,高峰值功率的人眼安全激光输出,改变Cr4+:YAG被动调Q晶体的参数,可获得不同重频不同脉宽的调Q激光脉冲;当Cr4+:YAG晶体初始透过率为 T0=80%时,获得了平均功率大于3.8 W,重频约80 kHz的1.572 μm波长信号光输出,脉宽30 ns,脉冲峰值功率达到1.58 kW。 相似文献

从被动调Q四能级激光器的速率方程出发,通过引入光学参量振荡(OPO)有效转换截面的概念,建立被动调Q单谐振内腔光学参量振荡器(IOPO)的理论模型。推导考虑晶体吸收、走离效应、模式匹配等参数的单谐振IOPO增益表达式以及有效转换截面表达式。利用Runge-Kutta法数值模拟IOPO的动力学特性,讨论信号光脉冲的建立过程,分析耦合输出镜的信号光反射率对抽运光和信号光间的能量转换过程以及信号光脉冲的建立时间和脉冲宽度的影响,结果表明,信号光反射率存在一个最优值为0.85。将模拟结果和实验结果进行比较,两者的吻合度较好。对理解被动调Q单谐振IOPO的工作机理及IOPO系统的优化设计提供理论依据。 相似文献

The frequency-doubled output of a high-power passively Q-switched Nd:YAG microchip laser has been used to pump a KTP doubly resonant miniature monolithic Fabry-Perot (microchip) optical parametric oscillator (OPO). The OPO operated with 20% conversion efficiency, generating 8.4 /spl mu/J of 1.064-/spl mu/m radiation in 600-ps pulses, with excellent mode quality and pulse-to-pulse stability. This is the most compact OPO system yet demonstrated, generating the shortest pulses reported for an OPO pumped with Q-switched pulses. This technology makes it possible to obtain miniature optical system operating at any wavelength throughout the near IR, visible, and UV. 相似文献

A rate-equation-based model that describes the behavior of a passively Q-switched solid-state laser containing an intracavity optical parametric oscillator (OPO) is developed. In such a laser there is no output at the fundamental or pump wavelength. When the OPO signal field begins to build up, it acts as a loss for the pump and thus cavity dumps the pump resonator. The model developed explains this behavior and enables one to select OPO parameters which optimize the system's performance. We report the theoretical analysis of a simultaneously phase-matched tandem optical parametric oscillator (STOPO) in which the principal OPO generates a signal which pumps a secondary OPO. Both OPO interactions are assumed to be phase-matched in a single crystal. The cavity has high Q for the signal produced by the principal OPO and has lower Q for the signal of the secondary OPO. The pump and the two idler frequencies are not resonated. The five waves undergoing nonlinear mixing are assumed to be nondegenerate in either frequency or polarization. We show that the useful output, consisting of the two idlers and the signal of the secondary OPO, can be produced with high efficiency over a large dynamic range in the pump intensity. We discuss the tuning with temperature and grating period of a STOPO based on periodically poled LiNbO3 pumped at 1.064 μm.
