运动补偿插帧是目前主要的帧率上转换方法。为减小内插帧中的块效应,并降低运算量以满足实时高清视频应用,该文提出了一种基于3维递归搜索(3-D Recursive Search, 3-D RS)的多级块匹配运动估计视频帧率上转换算法。该算法将3-D RS与双向运动估计相结合,首先对序列中相邻帧进行由粗到精的三级运动估计,再利用简化的中值滤波器平滑运动矢量场,最后通过线性插值补偿得到内插帧。实验结果表明,与现有的运动补偿插帧算法相比,该算法内插帧的主、客观质量都有所提高,且算法复杂度低,有很强的实用性。 相似文献

运动估计算法是实时视频编解码技术的研究重点,高精度的匹配和补偿可以减少预测误差,提高视频图像的压缩效果.为降低在视频编码标准H.264中运动估计的高计算复杂度问题,提出了采用一种基于节点模型的可变形块匹配运动估计算法来搜索最佳运动矢量.该算法充分利用了H.264运动矢量的的统计特性和相关性,并采用基于像素差值分类的运动估计匹配准则.实验表明,在编码性能损失很小的条件下,该算法有效降低了视频压缩编码中运动估计的运算复杂度. 相似文献

为了解决高清视频序列固有的运动模糊、残影等问题,同时提高低比特率通信的质量,提出了一种新的帧率上变换算法.该算法将遗传算法引入到运动估计中并结合现有运动估计算法进行了改进,使其充分利用视频在时间上和空间上的连续性,提高算法性能,同时减小算法的复杂度;对得到的运动矢量场进行了矢量细化处理,减小了块效应;并利用邻域运动矢量进行加权的重叠块运动补偿,提高内插块的精度.实验结果表明,与传统算法相比,该算法在主客观评估中都有较大的性能提升. 相似文献

The block-matching algorithm is the most popular motion compensation technique in video coding. However, it cannot provide acceptable quality at very low bit rate. In this paper, a new mesh-based motion compensation method is proposed to attack the problem. First, a regular non-uniform mesh, which has regular structure with variable patch size, is presented. The patch size is varied according to motion activity of a video sequence. Next, a weighted interpolation block matching is developed to improve the estimate accuracy of displacements of grid points. It utilizes the motion correlation between a grid point and its associated patches. Finally, based on the new mesh and motion estimation scheme, an efficient motion compensation algorithm is developed. When compared to the conventional motion compensation techniques, the proposed method improves performance significantly with lower computational complexity and overhead information bits. 相似文献

A very low bit-rate video codec using multiple-level segmentation and affine motion compensation is presented. The translational motion model is adequate to motion compensate small regions even when complex motion is involved; however, it is no longer capable of delivering satisfactory results when applied to large regions or the whole frame. The proposed codec is based on a variable block size algorithm enhanced with global motion compensation, inner block segmentation, and a set of motion models used adaptively in motion compensation. The experimental results show that the proposed method gives better results in terms of the bit rate under the same PSNR constraint for most of the tested sequences as compared with the fixed block size approach and traditional variable block size codec in which only translational motion compensation is utilized 相似文献

This paper presents a spatiotemporal super-resolution method to enhance both the spatial resolution and the frame rate in a hybrid stereo video system. In this system, a scene is captured by two cameras to form two videos, including a low spatial resolution with high-frame-rate video and a high spatial resolution with low-frame-rate video. For the low-spatial-resolution video, the low-resolution frames are spatially super-resolved by the high-resolution video via the stereo matching, the bilateral overlapped block motion estimation, and the adaptive overlapped block motion compensation algorithms, while for the low-frame-rate video, those missed frames are interpolated using the high-resolution frames obtained by fusing the disparity compensation and the motion compensation frame rate up-conversion. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed mixed spatiotemporal super-resolution method has a more significant contribution to both the subjective and objective qualities than the pure spatial super-resolution or the frame rate up-conversion. 相似文献

Interpolation techniques based on block-by-block motion compensation algorithms are studied for the video conference/video telephone signals. In this paper, we propose the local motion-adaptive interpolation technique, which can be used in the codec using a motion compensated coding-block matching algorithm (MCC-BMA). 为提高H.264/AVC标准在带宽资源严重受限时的压缩效率,采用空时域相结合的编码思路,提出了一种基于运动检测的自适应抽帧方法,并结合空域下采样与重建研究了一种改进的H.264/AVC压缩性能优化框架。在编码端,原视频先空域下采样以减少空间分辨率,然后根据视频运动特征,采用不同抽帧模式自适应地降低帧率,再经H.264/AVC编码,有效降低了编码码率。在解码端,解码视频则采用与抽帧模式相对应的运动估计与补偿插帧方法重建出抽取帧,再利用超分辨率重建技术将视频恢复到原空间分辨率。实验结果表明,所提方法在低码率段的视频压缩性能优于H.264/AVC标准编解码及相关文献方法。 相似文献

A frame rate up-conversion algorithm using the adaptive motion compensation that reduces the blocking artifacts due to block-based processing is proposed. The proposed method uses the motion analysis to determine the type of motion and applies the motion-compensated interpolation (MCI) adaptively. When the MCI is applied, multiple motion trajectories are considered in order to increase the accuracy of the MCI. Experiment results indicate good performance of the proposed MCI scheme with significantly reduced blocking artifacts 相似文献
