Artery, Vein, Neither, Both?

Combined central retinal vein and central retinal artery occlusion is a rare complication of compressive or infiltrative optic nerve disease. In this case combined retinal arterial and venous occlusive disease was the presenting sign of metastatic adenocarcinoma to the optic nerve sheath. An optic nerve sheath biopsy led to the diagnosis. Clinicians should be aware that retinal vascular disease can be due to optic nerve disorders including metastatic carcinoma.     

微量元素锌,镁,铜,铁对离体晶体透明度的影响

老年性白内障的病因,至今尚未完全明了。近年来眼科学家发现:正常人与老年性白内障晶体中微量元素含量存在着差异,因而微量元素与晶体混浊的关系,越来越引起人们的重视。我们于90年4月至91年4月共摘取了136个胎儿的272只眼的晶体,将同一个体的两只晶体一只置于含有微量元素的溶液中,另只做对照。然后测试两只晶体吸光度。结果显示:锌、镁元素对晶体吸光度有显著影响,现报告如下:     

眼挫伤与血清铁,锰,硒

目的 探讨眼挫伤与血清铁,锰,硒的关系。方法 对６５例眼挫伤病例采肘静脉血,用ＪＹ－７０合并型等离子体发射光谱仪测定。并与２００例正常人对照,进行统计学处理,结果 铁含量增加,Ｐ〈０．０５。锰,硒含量降低,Ｐ〈０．０１。结论 据含量变化,在治疗上给予补充或限制,有利于提高视力。此法简单,安全经济,有利推广。     

10种外眼病泪液中Ca,Mg,Zn,Fe元素测定

检测10种外眼病141例、178眼泪液中的Ca、Mg、Zn、Fe含量。结果显示,翼状胬肉和泡性角结膜炎泪液中的Ca,复发单疱病毒性角膜炎(HSK)泪液中的Ca、Mg、Zn、Fe,慢性结膜炎泪液中的Ca、Fe含量均明显低于对照组(P<0.001～0.05)。提示这4种外眼病的病因可能与泪液Ca、Mg、Zn、Fe含量不足有关。     

Tearful relationships? Sex, hormones, the lacrimal gland, and aqueous-deficient dry eye

Sex and the endocrine system exert a significant influence on the physiology and pathophysiology of the lacrimal gland. The purpose of this article is to briefly review the nature and magnitude of these interactions between sex, hormones and lacrimal tissue, and to address how they may relate to the pathogenesis of aqueous-deficient dry eye. Towards this end, this article has a 3-fold approach: first, to summarize the influence of androgens, estrogens, glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids, retinoic acid, prolactin, alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone, adrenocorticotropic hormone, luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, growth hormone, thyroid-stimulating hormone, arginine vasopressin, oxytocin, thyroxine, parathyroid hormone, insulin, glucagon, melatonin, human chorionic gonadotropin and cholecystokinin on the structure and function of the lacrimal gland; second, to discuss the mechanism of action of each hormone on lacrimal tissue; and third, to discuss the clinical relevance of the endocrine-lacrimal gland interrelationship, with a particular focus on each hormone's role (i.e. if relevant) in the development of aqueous-tear deficiency.     

单疱病毒性角膜炎患者头发锌,铜,铁,镁的测定分析

目前，微量元素与眼科疾病的研究，业已有所突破[1、2]，但角膜溃疡与微量元素的研究，尚少见系列报道，我们用GGX—Ⅱ原子吸收分光光度计测定分析了40例单疽病毒性角膜炎患者和100例健康人头发微量元素锌、铜、铁、镁，现报告如下：材料与方法1、样本选择：40例单疮病毒性角膜炎患者头发系我院第5病区提供，取枕部和领部头发10克送检。其中男用例，女9例；属角膜深层34例，浅层6例；年龄最小1岁，最大7O岁，平均年龄47岁；学生、幼儿童7例，干部Ic例，工人4例，农民19例。健康人100例系同期邢台地区健康人普查所测头发微量元素数据。2、…
