THE LABORATORY IN THE SERVICE OF THE STATE

Professor Winslow has collected in this paper some very interesting comparative statistics with regard to state health laboratories. The progress of public health laboratories in the United States has indeed been remarkable in the last few years. While we may congratulate ourselves on our advance, it is obvious that in many instances much may yet be done to make laboratory of greater value to the citizens of the state.     

旅店室内空气甲醛污染对从业人员健康影响的调查报告

本文以甲醛平均浓度为０．０５８ｍｇ／ｍ３的高级宾馆为接触组和平均浓度为０．０２０ｍｇ／ｍ３的普通招待所为对照组，对其从业人员的健康状况进行调查比较，结果表明：接触组的眼、鼻、咽刺激征、呼吸道症状、头晕、疲劳感、皮肤干燥、月经不调、多汗等自觉症状阳性检出率明显高于对照组，差异具有显著性。提示，旅店业甲醛污染对从业人员健康的影响不能忽视。改善室内环境、降低空气中甲醛浓度，对于保护人体健康具有重要意义。     

体重指数与慢性阻塞性肺疾病的相关性研究

[目的]探讨慢性阻塞性肺疾病和体重指数的相关关系。[方法]2008年10月~2010年9月选取我院就诊的COPD患者90例,按照1︰1年龄和性别配对收集45例健康对照。测量病例组和对照组体重指数,肺功能和动脉血气分析,采用SPSS11.0分析相关指标。[结果]COPD组的BMI显著低于对照组。COPD组的肺功能指标FEV1,FEV1/FVC指标和动脉血气指标PaO2分别低于对照组,COPD组的PaCO2高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P﹤0.05)。低BMI组的FEV1、FEV1/FVC()和PaO2指标明显低于正常BMI组和高BMI组(P﹤0.05),低BMI组的PaCO2明显高于正常BMI和高BMI组(P﹤0.05)。[结论]BMI和COPD有明显的相关性,加强患者的营养支持治疗,提高患者的BMI,才能减轻患者的肺功能低下状况,促进患者的康复。

开远市狂犬病防治对策的研究

目的：探索狂犬病的基本防治方法、控制狂犬病传播。方法：开展病例流行病学调查和狂犬疫苗免疫后抗狂犬病毒抗体测定并进行分析。结果：1987～1990年发病率3．12／10万(发病30例)，1991～2002年发病率0．03／10万(发病1例)，1991～2002年共测定抗狂犬病毒抗体4216名，抗体阳性率91．48％。12年间共减少狂犬病发病94例，避免各种经济损失9944354元，根据成本效益分析，取得9703634元的净效益，每年净效益808636元。结论：严格的犬类管理，及时伤口处理，注射狂犬疫苗和抗狂犬病毒血清，可以预防人间狂犬病和降低发病率。     

THE LEGACY OF THE GROUP

This paper describes the development and growth of two long-term groups with highly transient membership and questions the need for stability of group membership for progress in group therapy. Two groups of relatives of psychiatric inpatients have had a total of 150 members in 18 months. Average membership has been 2-3 sessions. The groups have progressed from beginning to advanced stages of group development. Clinical examples describe the subtle passage and evolution of group norms-the legacy of the group-from generation to generation of members.
