将正交频分复用(OFDM)技术应用于多径衰落信道下的高速数据传输是一个极富吸引力的方案,包括卷积码、RS码、Turbo码在内的多种纠错编码都曾被应用在OFDM系统中.最近,一种新的编码方案--低密度奇偶校验码(LDPC)引起了人们的注意.LDPC具有低的解码复杂度和逼近香农限的性能.文中仿真分析了LDPC-COFDM(编码正交频分复用)系统的性能,并与Turbo码系统进行了对比,结果表明该系统在多径衰落信道下显示出更为优越的性能.  相似文献

OFDM是一项能有效对抗高速无线通信中多径衰落的关键技术,为了进一步提高OFDM系统的误码性能,许多信道编码技术已被应用于OFDM系统中,二元域LDPC码以其近香农限的误码性能和较低的译码复杂度成为研究的热点。在AWGN信道下,多元域LDPC码比等效码长的二元域LDPC码有更好的纠错性能。本文提出了一种将多元域LDPC码经过MPSK调制后用于OFDM系统的新方法。仿真结果表明,在多径衰落信道下,通过合理选择多元LDPC码域的阶数和调制的方法,多元域LDPC编码的高阶调制OFDM系统比等效码长的二元域LDPC编码OFDM系统具有更好的性能,并且由于采用了多元域LDPC的快速BP译码,译码复杂度只是稍有增加。  相似文献

正交频分复用(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,OFDM)已成为多径环境下实现高速数据传输的主流技术之一,包括LDPC码在内的各种纠错编码技术被运用到其中以提高误码性能。文中提出了采用高阶QAM的LDPC编码OFDM(LDPC-COFDM)系统,在提高传输效率的同时取得了较好的编码增益。AWGN信道及频率选择性衰落信道下的仿真显示了该方案的良好性能。  相似文献

在导频与数据时分复接的块传输系统中,无保护间隔系统具有最佳的数据传输效率,但工作在多径信道下时,该系统接收信号中导频和数据边缘混叠,接收机需要额外的干扰消除操作以精确分离二者。实际干扰消除算法都会存在一定误差,这种误差会降低信道估计算法的精度,进一步影响整个数据块的解调及解码,最后导致系统误码性能下降。该文提出一种分段混合调制方式:数据块中,可能与导频发生混叠的前后两端数据符号采用低阶调制;而中部依然采用高阶调制。仿真结果表明,在典型大延时多径信道下,分段混合调制系统误码性能明显优于传统无保护间隔的时分导频辅助块传输系统。  相似文献

正交频分复用(OFDM)是一种多载波调制技术,已成为实现高速数据传输的主流技术,在无线局域网、HDTV中得到广泛应用;低密度奇偶校验(LDPC)码是一种译码复杂度低的纠错码,可获得接近香农限的优异性能。本文提出了结合LDPC码的COFDM系统方案,阐述了相关原理,对其性能进行了仿真分析,比较了在不同调制方法下系统的性能差异,并将基于LDPC码和Turbo码的COFDM系统在不同信道中的误码性能进行了对比。仿真结果表明,基于LDPC码的COFDM系统在提供较高比特传输速率的同时也具有良好的纠错性能。  相似文献

本文介绍一种用于采用导频插入载波恢复法的MQAM系统中的分组反馈平衡编码方法,它能抑制信号的低频分量。文中分析了分组反馈平衡编码后的信号功率谱及它对MQAM系统误码性能的影响,证实了分组反馈平衡编码的有效牲。本文还给出了16QAM信号分组反馈平衡编、解码电路实现方法。分组反馈平衡编码同样可用于多电平PCM传输系统中。  相似文献

超宽带(UWB)以其高传输速率和低成本、低功耗等特点受到业界广泛关注.国内外对UWB展开了多方面的研究,但是在信道编码方面的涉及很少.本文建立了一个采用LDPC码编解码技术的DS-UWB系统,提出在DS-UWB系统中结合自适应解调和LDPC码解码的性能分析方法,在存在高斯噪声的室内多径环境下,采用计算机仿真进行了实际系统的模拟,结果显示采用了LDPC码的DS-UWB系统性能得到了显著提高.  相似文献

针对地空通信中的多径时延展宽引起的严重的码间干扰和信道时变以及多谱勒频移等问题,介绍了调制解调中的关键技术,分析了自适应均衡技术和LDPC编码原理,提出了均衡器-解调器联合设计结构和LDPC编解码实现方法,给出了均衡器–解调器联合设计的解调器仿真结果以及采用LDPC的解调器误码曲线。该2项技术对通信的质量和系统的传输可靠性有明显的改善。  相似文献

This paper presents a practical implementation of the vertical Bell Laboratories layered space-time (V-BLAST) type system, in which the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) open-loop capacity can be approached with conventional scalar coding, using adaptive modulation with appropriate channel codes, e.g., low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes and optimum successive detection (OSD). The density evolution (DE) technique is employed to determine the maximal achievable rate of an LDPC code for each transmit antenna for a given channel realization at a given SNR. Numerical results show that the average sum rate of the adaptively modulated LDPC-encoded system is quite close to the V-BLAST capacity with both rate and power adaptations. Considering the performing degradation caused by error propagation due to the imperfect feedback and relatively long decoding delay in the OSD, we use parallel interference cancellation (PIC) followed by minimum mean square error (MMSE) filtering in the bit error rate (BER) performance simulation. Simulation results show that a target BER of 10-5 can be achieved by the optimally designed LDPC codes. To simplify the code design, we replace the LDPC codes optimally designed for each channel realization with rate-compatible punctured LDPC codes, at the cost of a slight sum rate loss. If the fading process is nonergodic, the outage capacity corresponding to a given outage probability is used to measure the channel performance. As an example, we design the LDPC codes for an adaptively modulated 2 × 2 V-BLAST system to approach its outage capacity for a given outage probability.   相似文献

An efficient method for analyzing the performance of finite-length low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes in the waterfall region, when transmission takes place on a memoryless binary-input output-symmetric channel is proposed. This method is based on studying the variations of the channel quality around its expected value when observed during the transmission of a finite-length codeword. We model these variations with a single parameter. This parameter is then viewed as a random variable and its probability distribution function is obtained. Assuming that a decoding failure is the result of an observed channel worse than the code?s decoding threshold, the block error probability of finite-length LDPC codes under different decoding algorithms is estimated. Using an extrinsic information transfer chart analysis, the bit error probability is obtained from the block error probability. Different parameters can be used for modeling the channel variations. In this work, two of such parameters are studied. Through examples, it is shown that this method can closely predict the performance of LDPC codes of a few thousand bits or longer in the waterfall region.  相似文献

In this paper, a random Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code is proposed for Noncontiguous Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (NC-OFDM) Cognitive Radio (CR) systems. Unlike other encoding schemes which achieve a system code rate of only 1/4 when half of the subcarriers are active, the proposed scheme achieves a system code rate of 1/2. The LDPC code is used to enhance the data transmission rate. A new channel model comprised of a binary erasure channel concatenated with an uncorrelated fading channel and an AWGN channel is adopted for NC-OFDM CR systems. Moreover, the adopted channel model is employed with density evolution algorithm to obtain good degree distribution pairs for the LDPC code. Thereafter, a modified shortest-path algorithm is used to construct the parity-check matrix for the LDPC code. Simulation results show that the proposed LDPC code performs well in terms of both error rate and data transmission rate.  相似文献

高效的差错控制编码技术(ECC)可以增强无线传感器网络传输稳定性、网络的能量利用效率。为了充分利用无线传感器网络中蕴含的分集资源应对恶劣信道环境导致的高差错概率,该文研究了基于根校验全分集LDPC码的差错控制编码技术。首先,提出在分簇无线传感器网络中,基于根校验全分集LDPC码的编码方案;其次,设计了适用于所提方案的速率兼容全分集LDPC码字结构。最后,分析了所提编码系统的能效。仿真结果表明,在信道条件较差的环境中(仿真中,信道噪声大于410-4 mW),采用该文的编码方案,能够显著提高无线传感器网络的能效。  相似文献

Quasi-cyclic (QC) low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes have the parity-check matrices consisting of circulant matrices. Since QC LDPC codes whose parity-check matrices consist of only circulant permutation matrices are difficult to support layered decoding and, at the same time, have a good degree distribution with respect to error correcting performance, adopting multi-weight circulant matrices to parity-check matrices is useful but it has not been much researched. In this paper, we propose a new code structure for QC LDPC codes with multi-weight circulant matrices by introducing overlapping matrices. This structure enables a system to operate on dual mode in an efficient manner, that is, a standard QC LDPC code is used when the channel is relatively good and an enhanced QC LDPC code adopting an overlapping matrix is used otherwise. We also propose a new dual mode parallel decoder which supports the layered decoding both for the standard QC LDPC codes and the enhanced QC LDPC codes. Simulation results show that QC LDPC codes with the proposed structure have considerably improved error correcting performance and decoding throughput.  相似文献

We apply the density-evolution technique to determine the thresholds of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes when the sum-product algorithm is employed to perform joint channel-state estimation and decoding. The channel considered is the two-state noiseless/useless binary symmetric channel (BSC) block interference channel, where a block of h consecutive symbols shares the same channel state, which is either a noiseless BSC (crossover probability 0) or a useless BSC (crossover probability 1/2). The channel state is selected independently and at random from block to block, according to a known prior distribution. The threshold of the joint channel-state estimation/decoding scheme when used over such a channel is shown to be greatly superior to that of a decoder that makes no attempt to estimate the channel state. These results are also confirmed by simulation. The maximum-likelihood (ML) performance of LDPC codes when used over this channel is investigated. Lower bounds on the error exponents of regular LDPC codes, when ML decoded, are shown to be close to the random coding channel error exponent when the LDPC variable node degree is high.  相似文献

We consider the use of high-rate low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes for magnetic recording. We design and evaluate the performance of a magnetic recording system, which uses an LDPC code as the error-correcting code, in conjunction with a rate 16/17 quasimaximum-transition-run (QMTR) channel code on a modified E2 PR4 (ME2PR4)-equalized channel. Iterative decoding between the partial response channel and the LDPC code is performed. Simulations show that an additional four-dB gain over the QMTR code can be obtained by the LDPC code.
