A slotted waveguide planar array using a single-layer feed circuit is proposed for high-frequency and high-gain antennas. The high efficiency of 75.6% and the gain of 35.9 dBi are obtained in the 22 GHz band, which confirms the potential of this type of antenna. An X-band active integrated antenna push-pull power amplifier is presented that uses a dual feed microstrip leaky-wave antenna for both out-of-phase power combining and second harmonic tuning. This novel structure results in a compact and high efficiency power amplifier design. At the operating frequency of 8.7 GHz. 介绍了一种非辐射边馈电的宽带双层微带贴片天线单元,并对其参数特性进行了仿真研究,结果表明,通过在寄生贴片上开3~5个与极化方向相平行的缝,可有效抑制天线的交叉极化,同时改善天线的阻抗带宽。相比传统双层微带贴片,该天线单元的阻抗带宽可提高3%以上,而交叉极化指标相当。当该单元应用于阵列天线设计时,可简化馈电网络,便于实现宽带、高效、大扫描角的微带共面馈电天线阵。对X波段8×8单元实验小阵的测试结果表明,该天线在17.6%的频段内具有良好的交叉极化性能及较高的工作效率。  相似文献

中心倾斜馈电缝的设计是波导缝隙天线的最后设计环节,由于结构的特殊性精确计算具有一定难度,至今未见报道。文中采用矩量法完成了中心倾斜馈电缝的分析,其中两层矩形波导的交叉角度是任意的,分析中同时计入了波导壁厚的影响和短路面的高次模影响。通过与HFSS仿真结果比较说明文中方法是精确有效的且具有很高的计算效率。  相似文献

A new circularly polarized antenna using a dielectric image line is proposed. This antenna is composed of a slotted conductive plane and a rectangular dielectric rod. This paper describes the design of and experimental results achieved with the circularly polarized array antenna fed by a dielectric image line. The fundemental characteristics of the image line are also presented. Since this line's losses are far lower than the microstrip line losses in the millimeter wavebands, antenna feed line losses expect to be also very low. Bandwidth within the 2-dB axial ratio was more than 7 percent, and the angle range within the same ratio was more than +-7.8 degrees at 29.5 GHz. This antenna is far superior to the microstrip line feed array antenna in the millimeter wavebands.  相似文献

This paper proposes a single-layer slotted leaky waveguide array antenna for mobile DBS reception. A single-layer feed structure is proposed, where the feed waveguide is in the same layer as the radiating waveguides. This results in the simple fabrication of slotted waveguide arrays, suitable for mass production. Short radiating leaky waveguides are used to get a large beam-tilting angle of about 50° for the horizontal installation of the antenna and a beamwidth broad enough to dispense with mechanical steering in the elevation plane. A prototype antenna sized 30 cm by 21 cm has a maximum of 74% efficiency and more than 69% efficiency within the DBS band. It also has a broad l-dB beamwidth of 7.5° in the elevation plane, which enables clear DBS reception by a picture tube display over about one-third the area of Japan without elevation tracking  相似文献

本文设计了一种毫米波双魔T 结构的单脉冲右旋圆极化微带阵列天线。针对微带天线经典“H”形馈电类型在单 元间距较小时不再适用的问题,设计混合馈电网络以减小馈线与贴片单元的互耦,并在天线背面采用双魔T 结构的波 导和差网络馈电。这种结构设计在一定程度上减小了馈电插入损耗。为减小平行长馈线间耦合,采用了在两级馈电网 络间加隔离贴片的方法,有效地隔离了平行馈线间的耦合,消除部分表面波影响,保证了功率分配。仿真结果与实测 结果吻合较好。  相似文献

Subreflectarrays for Reflector Surface Distortion Compensation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
With the increasing interest in the applications of large deployable reflector antennas operating at high frequencies, the requirement on the reflector surface accuracy becomes more demanding. Thermal effects inevitably cause certain reflector surface distortions, thus degrading the overall antenna performance. This paper introduces a novel reflector surface distortion compensation technique using a subreflectarray and presents detailed discussions. A microstrip reflectarray is used as a subreflector, illuminated by a primary feed. By properly adjusting the additional phase shift provided by the subreflectarray, the aperture phase errors caused by the main reflector surface distortions are compensated, resulting in a considerably improved antenna performance. As an example, a distorted 20-m offset parabolic reflector antenna operating at X-band is successfully compensated by a subreflectarray, and the simulation results are compared with those obtained by array feed and shaped subreflector compensation techniques. The microstrip subreflectarray is low-profile, lightweight, and cost-effective. Only one primary feed is required, and a reconfigurable design can be achieved if electronically reconfigurable reflectarray elements are adopted.   相似文献

A high-gain and high-efficiency slotted waveguide planar antenna is developed in the millimeter-wave band. Forty-five degree inclined polarization is required for automotive radar systems. In the design of slotted waveguide array for arbitrarily linear polarization, slot spacing is one guide wavelength which is larger than a wavelength in free space. Consequently, grating lobes appear in the radiation pattern. So, we developed a slotted waveguide planar antenna composed of post-loaded narrow-wall slots and a single-layer alternating-phase feeding circuit. A planar antenna with suppressed grating lobes has been fabricated and its RF performance has been measured. The measured gain is 33.2 dBi and antenna efficiency is 56% at 76 GHz. Grating lobe level is -28.6 dB lower than main lobe level. Since the proposed structure remains simple, the antenna is expected to be manufactured by metal injection molding for low cost  相似文献

A two-beam slotted leaky waveguide array for mobile reception of dual-polarization direct broadcast from satellite (DBS) is realized in a single-layer structure. Two feed waveguides attached at both ends of cross-slotted radiating waveguides excite the leaky waves propagating in opposite directions. Each of them radiates either of two circularly polarized waves in symmetrical beam directions. Balanced design of two beams for each polarization imposes symmetry in the array design of slots. The slot coupling distribution is optimized for the maximum gain under this symmetry condition. A model antenna in about a 300-mm square is fabricated for experiments in the 12-GHz band. The paper presents a new concept in antenna design, whereby a photo-imageable thick-film process is used to integrate a waveguide antenna within a multilayer structure. This has yielded a very compact, high performance antenna working at high millimeter-wave (mm-wave) frequencies, with a high degree of repeatability and reliability in antenna construction. Theoretical and experimental results for 70 GHz mm-wave integrated antennas, fabricated using the new technique, are presented. The antennas were formed from miniature slotted waveguide arrays using up to 18 layers of photo-imageable material. To enhance the electrical performance a novel folded waveguide array was also investigated. The fabrication process is analyzed in detail and the critical issues involved in the fabrication cycle are discussed. The losses in the substrate integrated waveguide have been calculated. The performance of the new integrated antenna is compared to conventional metallic, air-filled waveguide antennas, and also to conventional microstrip antenna arrays operating at the same frequencies.   相似文献

研制了一种俯仰向波束固定,方位向频扫的Ku波段频扫平面天线阵.采用双层微带结构获得带宽约18%的宽带微带贴片天线作为阵列单元.天线阵俯仰向采用微带功分器及该种天线单元组成线阵.方位向为实现波束较大范围的频扫能力, 并提高天线阵的工作效率采用波导慢波线缝隙与线阵微带线电磁耦合结构进行馈电.在采用HFSS软件完成仿真设计的基础上,加工并测试了一套12×40规模的天线阵,结果表明该天线阵在工作频段内驻波比优于1.5,波束扫描范围大于80, 副瓣电平优于-20 dB,除中心频点外,增益大于26.5 dB.  相似文献

介绍了一种结构新型的双频双极化共口径缝隙耦合微带天线,天线工作的中心频率分别为2.1GHz(L波段)和8.6GHz(X波段),在两个工作频率采用了底馈的馈电方式.用时域有限差分法分别对L波段和X波段双极化的微带辐射单元进行了模拟分析,制作了L波段的2×2元即X波段的8×8元阵天线,同时给出了测量结果.  相似文献

文中通过加载超表面(Metasurface,MTS)的方式设计了一款超表面的宽带微带天线,将传统的矩形辐射贴片替换成超表面结构,提高了微带天线的电性能。天线通过共面波导的阶梯型孔径馈电。超表面印刷在介质板顶面,而介质板底面为共面波导馈电电路,从而增加了超表面与底层馈电孔径之间的耦合。超表面和阶梯型的孔径共同作用,使天线获得了较宽的阻抗带宽。文中设计的天线结构简单,外形紧凑。该天线的-10 dB相对阻抗带宽约为56.4%(7~12.5 GHz),覆盖整个X波段,主辐射方向偏离法向30°。实验测试结果与仿真结果吻合较好,为军事领域中的侦查和探测以及超宽带短距离室内定位中的天线设计提供了思路。  相似文献

A new broadband dual polarized L-shaped horn antenna and associated waveguide feed structure is presented. The antenna is well suited for millimeter-wave polarimetric phased array systems requiring wide-angle scanning and ease of integration with planar circuits. A stereolithographic fabrication process is employed to obtain the complex angles and intricate features that are essential for the antenna and feed design. Dielectric material is used to fill the horn antenna and waveguide feed, which allows for the desired radiation characteristics as well as low loss transition to the microstrip circuitry. Broadband attributes are demonstrated with measured return losses of better than$-$10 dB from 34 to 40 GHz. The measured gain is 5.3 dB at 35 GHz, along with 19 dB cross-polarization discrimination.  相似文献

采用双层矩形贴片加切角的结构设计圆极化单元,并将其组成应用于X 波段64 单元高增益圆极化微带阵列天线。天线基板采用Taconic-TRF,介电常数4. 5,厚度0. 81mm,损耗角正切0. 0035。利用Ansoft HF-SS 软件对单元及阵列模型进行仿真优化。通过实际测试,64 单元阵列天线轴比AR<6dB 的带宽500MHz,增益达到21. 2dB,S11 <-10dB 的相对阻抗带宽达到6. 9%,天线具有良好的圆极化和阻抗匹配特性。圆极化天线具有较强的抗干扰能力,可很好地应用于电子侦察、电子对抗等领域。设计的圆极化微带阵列天线为组成更大阵列的天线以及构建相控阵天线提供了单元基础。  相似文献
