连续相位调制(CPM)信号是一种具有高频谱效率和功率效率的恒包络调制技术,但基于传统相位网格的CPM信号调制解调算法复杂度高、计算量大。提出了一种基于倾斜相位网格的CPM调制解调算法,通过分析CPM相位网络图和分解模型,给出了CPM信号倾斜相位网格设计、状态存储、初始化及译码的实现方法,相比传统相位,该算法更加简洁、计算量更小,并通过仿真验证了设计方案的正确性。  相似文献

连续相位调制(CPM)是一种恒包络的高效调制方式,由于其解调算法复杂度高,其应用长期以来受到限制。传统的CPM解调算法基本上是基于幅度信息而未考虑相位信息,因此复杂度较高。本文提出了一种依据CPM信号特征的相位距离的定义,利用2RC-4CPM对该定义的有效性进行了验证,并将其应用于降低最大似然序列检测算法的路径数,从而大幅降低了最优接收机解调的复杂度。仿真表明,在选取适当门限值的情况下,基于相位距离的最大似然序列检测算法性能接近最优接收机。  相似文献

连续相位调制(CPM)技术是一类恒包络的数字调制技术,CPM信号的恒包络这一特性使它们对于非线性信道和衰落信道具有很强的抵抗性.特别适用于卫星通信和移动无线通信信道。与PSK调制方式相比,CPM调制系统不仅能够提供较高的频谱效率,而且具有一定的编码增益,这是因为接收器可以利用相位成型滤波器引入的记忆特性。CPM调制系统可以分解为一个连续相位编码器(CPE)和一个无记忆调制器(MM)的级联,因此出现了多种卷积码与CPM结合的调制方案,例如串行级联连续相位调制、基于环的串行级联连续相位调制、实用的连续相位调制、卷积编码器与扩展信道编码器的串行级联,等等。其中,基于环的串行级联连续相位调制具有很好的性能,在交织增益、自由距离、误码平层和收敛门限可能成为未来连续相位编码调制系统的发展方向。  相似文献

以8CPFSK为例对连续相位调制(CPM)信号的同步技术和解调技术进行研究,并提出一种新颖的解调和同步联合的接收方案。该方案利用了“多符号差分检测”和CPM信号特有的相位特性,反馈地修正同步误差。仿真结果表明使用该方案不但能简便准确地同步信号接收。而且能大幅度提高连续相位调制信号的误码性能。  相似文献

为简化连续相位调制信号的相干解调,提出了一种四进制连续相位调制方法。在发送端,信号调制器根据发送的前后两组比特信息从一个预先设计的基带信号集合中选择对应的基带信号作为调制信号。该调制方法使信息码元由基带信号某一时刻的绝对相位值表示,当完成相位和载波同步后,在接收端其接收处理和传统QPSK信号一致,可以直接使用IQ路的采样值解调信息比特。仿真表明,调制信号的相干解调误比特性能与QPSK信号的相干解调相同。由于调制信号具有准恒包络和连续相位的特点,更适合应用于使用非线性功放的功率受限通信系统中。  相似文献

提出了一种幅度准恒包络、相位连续的差分相移键控调制与解调方法.该方法设计了一组基带信号集合,根据输入的信息值和状态值选择基带信号来实现信号调制.在信号解调中,通过计算接收信号在一个符号持续时间内的相位变化累积量来判决发送信息.仿真结果表明,该调制方法具有良好的频谱特性和准恒包络特性,并且避免了本振偏离、多普勒频移等引起的符号间相位变化对信号解调的影响.  相似文献

连续相位调制具有频谱利用率高、较低的带外功率、信号恒包络等特性,广泛地应用于无线通信系统中。然而现有的基于概率域的解调算法复杂度较高,不具有实用价值。针对这一问题对高效的相位连续调制技术进行了详细讨论,进而提出了基于可靠度的低复杂度CPM软解调算法。提出的软解调算法计算接收信号与调制信号之间的相关值,并将其作为信息度量。算法不依赖于信道噪声方差,避免了信道噪声方差估计不准确对解调性能带来的影响。仿真结果表明,提出的基于可靠度的软解调算法的性能与概率域下的解调算法几乎没有差异,并且完全能够与现代纠错码相结合,从而提高通信系统的可靠性。  相似文献

以8CPM为例,阐述了连续相位调制的原理,分析了CPM信号的调制方式及其性能的优越性,具体化连续相位调制过程,明确了用DSP实现的开销及可行性。同时对CPM信号捕获的方法进行了分析研究,提出了一种确实可行的捕获方案。在Matlab仿真的基础上,用DSP硬件平台实现CPM信号的调制、发送、接收、捕获,验证了捕获方案的可行性。  相似文献

研究了相位噪声对QPSK系统的性能影响,利用高斯信道下带有相位噪声的条件误码率公式,分析了不同相位噪声谱所带来的解调损失。相位调制是一种恒包络调制方式,它对调制信号的相位偏移非常敏感,在单频相位噪声模型基础上,把相位噪声功率谱密度与相干解调的误码率公式相联系起来,计算了高斯信道条件下不同相位噪声谱对不同速率QPSK信号的解调损失。  相似文献

针对非合作条件下实现CPM信号相干解调,首先要准确估计CPM信号调制参数这一关键问题,该文提出了一种基于数据辅助的CPM信号调制指数与成型脉冲联合估计的新方法,使用符号间的相位差分消除CPM信号相位的记忆特性,采用最小二乘法获得调制指数和成型脉冲的联合估计。理论分析与数值仿真表明该方法是无偏的,当数据观测长度为N 时,其估计误差以1/N的速率收敛到0。算法适用于全响应和部分响应CPM信号,具有良好的抗噪声性能。  相似文献

椭圆球面波信号(PSWF)是时频域最佳能量聚集性信号,探索性地将PSWF信号应用于连续相位调制(CPM)技术,对基于椭圆球面波信号的CPM调制信号产生过程进行了描述;给出了采用自相关函数法对基于PSWF的CPM调制信号功率谱密度计算方法;结合数值计算、分析对比了最小频移键控、正弦频移键控、高斯最小频移键控以及基于高斯函数的CPM调制信号功率谱密度及其信号占用带宽等特性。数值计算结果表明椭圆球面波信号相比矩形脉冲、升余弦脉冲、高斯脉冲及(类)高斯脉冲作为CPM的基带调频信号,可以获得频谱性能、能量聚集性较好的CPM信号。  相似文献

Due to high spectral efficiency and power efficiency, the continuous phase modulation ( CPM) technique with constant envelop is widely used in range telemetry. How to improve the bit error rate (BER) performance of CPM and keep a reasonable computational complexity is the key of the entire telemetry system and the focus of research and engineering design. In this paper, a reduced-state noncoherent maximum likelihood sequence detection (MLSD) method for CPM is proposed. In the proposed method, the criterion of noncoherent MLSD is derived for CPM when the carrier phase is unknown. A novel Viterbi algorithm (VA) with modified state vector is designed to simplify the implementation of noncoherent MLSD. Both analysis and numerical results show that the proposed method reduces the computational complexity significantly and does not need accurate carrier phase recovery, which overcomes the shortage of traditional MLSD method. Additionally, the proposed method exceeds the traditional MLSD method when carrier phase deviation exists.  相似文献

Space–time (ST) coding is a proved technique for achieving high data rates in 3G mobile systems that combines coding, modulation and multiple transmitters and receivers. A novel algorithm is proposed for ST ring trellis‐coded modulation (ST‐RTCM) systems with continuous‐phase modulation (CPM) when the channel coefficients are known to the receiver. This algorithm is based on the CPM decomposed model, which exploits the memory properties of this modulation method, resulting in a straightforward implementation of joint ST coding and CPM, which is particularly suitable for ring codes. This new scheme is used to investigate the performance of the delay diversity code with CPM over slow Rayleigh fading channels, in particular with MSK which is one of the most widely used modulation methods of continuous phase. Furthermore, a feedback version of delay diversity allowed by the decomposition is tested in 1REC and 1RC systems. This feedback configuration is seen to provide good results for low signal‐to‐noise ratios. Simulations results are also provided for multilevel ST‐RTCM codes that achieve a higher throughput than MSK‐coded systems. Additionally the serial concatenation of an outer Reed–Solomon code with an ST‐RTCM code is shown, this combination further reduces the error probability and achieves even more reliable communications. Existing space-time codes have focused on multiple- antenna systems with linear modulation schemes such as phase- shift keying and quadrature amplitude modulation. Continuous phase modulation (CPM) is an attractive scheme for digital transmission because of its constant envelope which is needed for power efficient transmitters. Recent research has shown that space-time coded CPM can achieve transmit diversity to improve performance while maintaining the compact spectrum of CPM signals. However, these efforts mainly combine space- time coding (STC) with CPM to achieve spatial diversity at the cost of a high decoding complexity. In this paper, we design space-time block codes (STBC) for binary CPM with modulation index h = 1/2 and derive low-complexity receivers for these systems. The proposed scheme has a much lower decoding complexity than STC CPM with the Viterbi decoder and still achieves near-optimum error performances.  相似文献

We present a coherent detection technique for continuous phase modulation (CPM) operating in the Rayleigh flat fading channel. The technique is based on the idea of inserting periodically data dependent pilot symbols that force the CPM signal to pass through known phase states. This transmission format enables the receiver to extract from the received signal the channel fading gains at regularly spaced instants. When coupled with proper channel estimation filters, very accurate channel state information (CSI) can be estimated at the receiver for fading compensation. Moreover, the accuracy of the CSI can be further refined by adopting a multiple-pass decoding approach. The paper discusses (a) the pilot symbol encoding technique required to force a M-level CPM scheme with a modulation index of p/M, p is an integer, to return periodically to a set of known phase states, (b) the optimal channel estimation filters, (c) a trellis-based precoding technique that can reduce the bit error rate in M-level CPM systems by close to 50%, and (d) a multiple-pass channel estimator/demodulator. Analytical and simulation results are presented for minimum shift keying (MSK), Gaussian MSK, and four-level continuous phase frequency shift keying with a modulation index of 1/4. It is observed that our pilot symbol-assisted CPM schemes exhibit no irreducible error floor even at a channel fade rate of three percent the symbol rate. The implicit phase coding in CPM and the accurate CSI provided by the pilot symbols lead to a diversity effect in the bit error rate curves of these modulation schemes  相似文献

Based on an extension of Laurent (1986) decomposition of continuous phase modulation (CPM) signals into a sum of linearly modulated components, we derive a class of reduced-complexity maximum-likelihood (ML) coherent detection and closed-loop phase synchronization schemes. The complexity of the resulting detection schemes, expressed in terms of the number of matched filters and states of a Viterbi algorithm, is significantly reduced with respect to that of optimal coherent receivers with negligible performance loss. This result extends a known one valid for the binary case to multilevel CPM. The proposed synchronization schemes do not require an increased number of matched filters, and are perfectly suitable to be used in conjunction with these receivers. Based on the phase-locked loop (PLL) equivalent linear model, a method for optimizing the parameters of digital second-order PLL's is presented. Numerical examples, based on theoretical analysis and computer simulation, are provided for two specific formats in the CPM class: tamed frequency modulation (TFM) and a quaternary raised-cosine (RC) modulation  相似文献
