ObjectiveThe aims of this study were to investigate the prevalence, associated co-morbid psychiatric disorders and behavioral/emotional problems associated with the subtypes of specific phobia in children and adolescents.MethodsA total of 2673 randomly selected children and adolescents from Seoul, Korea were assessed using the parent version of the Diagnostic Interview Schedule for Children (DISC-IV) and Children's Behavior Checklist (CBCL). We analyzed differences in psychiatric co-morbidities and CBCL profiles among the subtypes of specific phobia.ResultsThe 1-year prevalence of specific phobia was 7.9% (95% CI 7.63–8.17). Animal phobia was associated with anxiety disorder (OR 8.68, 95% CI 1.91–39.51) and oppositional defiant disorder (OR 2.55, 95% CI 1.27–5.12). Nature–environment phobia was associated with anxiety disorder (OR 25.70, 95% CI 6.16–107.10). Blood–injection–injury phobia showed associations with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD: OR 6.74, 95% CI 2.81–16.15). Subjects with nature–environment phobia scored higher than did controls on the anxious/depressed, social problems, attention problems, and total behavioral problem profiles of the CBCL. Subjects with blood–injection–injury phobia scored significantly higher than did controls on the attention problems, aggressive behaviors, and externalizing problem profiles.ConclusionsContrary to animal phobias, nature–environment and blood–injection–injury phobias were associated with various behavioral and emotional problems and approximately correlated to their co-morbid psychiatric disorders. Among these subtypes, significant differences were found in demographic characteristics, co-morbid psychiatric disorders, and emotional/behavioral problems. These findings suggest that distinctive clinical characteristics might be related with different subtypes of specific phobia and clinician must consider psychiatric co-morbidities when treating children & adolescents with specific phobia.  相似文献

In order to recognize behavioral patterns in children and adolescents at risk for developing bipolar disorder, this study examined Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) profiles of bipolar offspring both with (BD group) and without (“at-risk” or AR group) bipolar disorder themselves. The BD youth had three CBCL subscale T scores ≥70 (attention problems, delinquent behavior, and aggression) and scored significantly higher than healthy comparison youth on all CBCL subscales. AR youth did not have any T scores ≥70; however, they scored higher than healthy comparisons in the anxiety/depression, attention problems, aggression, and withdrawal subscales. AR and BD youth differed significantly on all scales except somatic complaints and anxiety/depression.  相似文献

The majority of studies examining associations between clinical–diagnostic and empirical-quantitative approaches have concentrated only on the target diagnosis without taking into account any possible co-variation of psychopathological traits, which is intrinsic to child psychopathology. The ability of child behaviour checklist (CBCL) DSM-oriented scales (DOSs) to predict target and other DSM diagnoses, taking into consideration the covariation of psychopathological traits, was analysed by logistic regression analysis. Corresponding odds ratio (OR) was used as indicator of the strength of the relationship between the clinical score in DOSs and the presence of DSM-IV diagnoses. Logistic regression allowed us to consider multiple scales simultaneously, thus addressing the problem of co-occurrence of psychopathological traits, and to include gender and age as covariates. The sample consisted of 360 children and adolescents aged 6–16 years, consecutively referred for behavioural and emotional problems. As a whole, the CBCL DOSs seem to be more specific but with a weaker association with DSM-IV diagnoses than syndrome scales, and with some distinctive features: clinical scores in the anxiety DOS suggest a diagnosis of both anxiety and mood disorder; clinical scores in the somatic problems DOS are very strong and specific predictors for diagnosis of separation anxiety disorder; clinical scores in the oppositional defiant problems DOS are not only predictors of the oppositional defiant disorder but are also strong predictors of generalized anxiety disorder; clinical scores in the conduct problems DOS are a specific and strong predictor for oppositional defiant disorder. Results confirm the clinical usefulness of CBCL and suggest using both syndrome and DOS scales for a complete and accurate assessment of children and adolescents.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: We studied the comorbid behavioural and mood problems in children with non-psychiatric Tourette's syndrome (TS) and their relationship with severity of tic disorder. METHOD: Sixty-nine TS children and 69 healthy controls were assessed by Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) and Yale Global Tic Severity Scale (YGTSS). The relationships between behavioural problems and severity of tic symptoms were analysed statistically by comparison, correlation and multiple linear regression. RESULTS: Tourette's syndrome patients scored significantly lower (p<0.01) on the CBCL competency subscales and total score, and higher on all behavioural problem subscales and total score (p<0.01). Expectedly, the TS children had lower social competence than normal children. Among the TS children, the severity of tic symptoms is positively correlated with the severity of overall impairment in school and social competence. When the behavioural and mood problems commonly associated with TS were studied in detail, we found that delinquent behaviour, thought problems, attention problems, aggressive behaviour and externalizing are positively correlated with severity of tic symptoms. CONCLUSION: The findings indicated that children with TS-only also had a broad range of behavioural problems, and some of these were related to the severity of tic symptoms.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the relationships between asthma and type and incidence of psychiatric problems in a pediatric population. METHODS: A series of 93 children and adolescents with asthma presenting during a 1-year period to a pediatric pneumology and allergy service was studied. Their psychopathological problems were compared with those of 93 children with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). Various questionnaires were completed by the patients: the Child Depression Inventory (CDI), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI). Their parents were administered the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL). The patients were examined using the revised Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (K-SADS-R). RESULTS: There were more symptoms in the asthma group than in the IDDM group, as indicated by total CBCL scores, internalization and externalization CBCL subscores, and the STAIC scores. Asthma was often associated with Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) psychiatric disorders. We found 30 anxiety disorders, 5 affective disorders, and 6 disruptive behaviour disorders. Asthmatic children did not seem to be more depressed than the IDDM group, and their self-esteem, overall, was good. However, the asthma subgroup presenting with psychiatric disorders had poorer self-esteem and social competence. Adolescents did not seem to suffer more psychiatric disturbances than did younger patients. Girls did not suffer more psychiatric disturbances than did boys. CONCLUSION: Asthma appears to be associated both with higher overall incidence of psychiatric problems than in IDDM and with particular categories of psychiatric problems. In particular, the problems include anxiety disorders, internalizing symptoms, and disruptive behaviours.  相似文献

Medically unexplained physical symptoms are frequently endorsed by children and adolescents in both clinical and community samples. The aim of this exploratory study is to examine the prevalence of somatic symptoms in a sample of 162 Italian children and adolescents consecutively referred to a Division of Child Neurology and Psychiatry from emotional and/or behavioral disorders. The role of age, gender, and psychiatric status was considered as a variable. Each patient received a DSM-IV assessment, including a diagnostic structured interview (DICA-R). The sample was divided according to gender (96 males, 66 females), age (70 children younger and 92 adolescents older than 12 years), and psychiatric diagnosis (Anxiety, Depression, Depression/Anxiety, Other). The presence of medically unexplained somatic symptoms was based on the responses to the DICA-R. Somatic complaints were reported in 69.2% of the patients. Headache was the most frequent somatic symptom (50.6%). Younger children showed higher rates of abdominal complaints than adolescents. No gender differences in frequency of somatic complaints were reported. Subjects with anxiety and/or depression reported significantly higher rates of somatic complaints, namely headache, than subjects with other mental disorders. No differences in frequency of somatic symptoms were evident between patients with anxiety, depression, and comorbid anxiety-depression. Our data suggest that an unexplained somatic symptom can be often considered as indicative of a neglected anxiety and/or depressive disorder. A collaboration between primary care physicians, pediatricians, and child psychiatrists may promote early diagnoses and timely treatments and prevent negative social and scholastic consequences.  相似文献

Mania and bipolar disorder have been reported in adolescents and adults with velocardiofacial syndrome (VCFS; also known as 22q11.2 deletion syndrome). Children with VCFS have a high prevalence of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which may constitute a risk factor for the eventual development of bipolar disorder in this population. Therefore, we sought to determine whether children with VCFS exhibit more manic symptoms than community controls that also may have learning disorders and ADHD. The study population consisted of 86 children with VCFS and 36 community controls from ages 9 to 15 years, using measures of Young Mania Rating Scale-Parent Version, Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Children-Present and Lifetime Version (K-SADS-PL), Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-3rd edition (WISC-III). The results indicate that manic symptoms were not more prevalent in VCFS than in a community sample of children with learning disorders and ADHD. However, after accounting for symptoms of depression and ADHD, we found that manic symptoms in VCFS predicted uniquely to scores on four Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) subscales, including anxiety, somatization, thought, and conduct problems. In contrast, manic symptoms in controls predicted uniquely to conduct problems only. Accordingly, our findings of severe behavioral impairment in youth with VCFS and manic symptoms suggest that these children may warrant more intensive monitoring and treatment relative to youth with VCFS and ADHD only.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the utility of the Child Behavior Check list (CBCL) for identifying children of parents with panic disorder or major depression at high-risk for future psychopathology. METHODS: Baseline Internalizing and Externalizing CBCL T-scores were used to predict subsequent depressive, anxiety, and disruptive behavior disorders at a 5-year follow-up in children of parents with panic disorder, major depression, or neither disorder. RESULTS: The Internalizing scale predicted subsequent agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, and social phobia. In contrast, the Externalizing scale predicted subsequent disruptive behavior disorders and major depression. CONCLUSIONS: The convergence of these results with previous findings based on structured diagnostic interviews suggests that the CBCL broad-band scales can inexpensively and efficiently help identify children at high risk for future psychopathology within a population of children already at risk by virtue of parental psychopathology.  相似文献

Speech and language impaired children are at special risk for developing psychiatric disorders. Attention deficit, aggressive behaviour as well as overanxiety and excessive shyness have been reported in speech and language impaired children. The purpose of this study was to determine how the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) could be used as a screening instrument in language impaired children. In a sample of 83 language impaired children, emotional and behavioural problems were evaluated using the CBCL. Independent of this assessment, DSM-IV diagnoses were established for all children. Sixty-six of the 83 children had a psychiatric diagnosis. The use of the Total Behavior Problem score (TBP) as a global measure of behavioural disturbance showed that children with a psychiatric diagnosis had significantly higher scores on the TBP score than children without a psychiatric diagnosis. The specificity of the TBP was 88.2%, the sensitivity 75.8%, and the false classification rate 21.6%. The most frequently reported behavioural disturbances were problems on scale VI (“Attention Problems”-39 children) and on scale I (“Withdrawn”-32 children). A small group of children with a receptive language disorder and pronounced compulsive behavioural problems had elevated scores on scale V (“Thought Problems”). Accepted: 10 August 1998  相似文献

Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a chronic illness characterized by loss of motor function. The aim of the study was to investigate behavioural adjustment in 96 children and adolescents with SMA (47 males, 49 females; mean age 11 years 2 months, range 6 to 18 years). Forty-five non-affected siblings (26 males, 19 females; mean age 11 years 6 months, range 6 to 18 years) and 59 normally developing children (33 males, 26 females; mean age 10 years 8 months, range 6 to 18 years) were recruited as control participants. Behavioural symptoms were measured with the Child Behaviour Checklist (CBCL) and disorders were assessed with a structured psychiatric interview (Kinder-DIPS). Of the patients with SMA, 12.5% fulfilled the criteria for an ICD-10 or DSM-IV diagnosis, with separation anxiety disorder being the most common diagnosis. The CBCL total score was in the clinical range for 11.5% of patients, 20% of the siblings, and 11.7% of the control children; the externalizing score rates were 2.1%, 22.2%, and 11.9% respectively; the internalizing score 18.9%, 24.4%, and 13.6% respectively. Comorbid psychopathology was not influenced by sex, IQ, nor severity of SMA, and only externalizing behaviour was correlated to age. In conclusion, children and adolescents with SMA are characterized by a low psychiatric comorbidity not different from control individuals. The group with the highest rate of behavioural problems and with the greatest need for intervention were the non-affected siblings who had a two- to threefold higher rate of behavioural problems than the normative population.  相似文献

Objective Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) defined at the diagnostic level encompasses divergent symptoms and is often associated with other psychiatric problems. The present study examines OCD versus co-morbid symptom patterns in OCD in children and adolescents in order to investigate the presence of diagnostic heterogeneity. Subjects and methods A total of 113 outpatients with primary OCD participated. The patients’ and primary caretakers’ responses on semi-structured interviews (child version of Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia and the Children’s Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale) and parents’ responses on the Child Behaviour Checklist were used in the study. Psychiatric diagnoses were related to CBCL syndrome scores and CBCL scores were compared with the Swedish normative data. Results Co-morbid diagnoses were very common and only one out of five patients had only OCD. The most common group was the neuropsychiatric disorders (47%) where tic disorders were most common (27%), especially among boys (40.8%; P = .006, Fisher’s exact test). Also anxiety disorders were common (39.8%) as were affective disorders (24.8%) neither with any gender differences. Diagnoses of disruptive disorders were less common (8.8%), almost exclusively of the oppositional kind (ODD) (8.8%). From the dimensional point of view using the CBCL, patients with OCD scored higher than Swedish youngster generally do, and some gender differences were seen in that girls scored higher on anxiety and depression while both girls and boys had high scores on thought problems, attention problems and especially aggressive behaviour. Comorbidities explained from 25 to 50% scores of the CBCL sub-syndrome scales, often with both main effects and through complex patterns of interaction with gender, OCD-severity and other co-morbid problems. Conclusions While co-morbid problems is an important facet of OCD, sub-syndromal levels of symptoms that can be assessed using a dimensional approach, is a large part of the total symptom burden in these youngsters. Our data indicate contributions of different pathways for girls and for boys for several comorbid problems together with OCD-severity.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: Comorbidity of psychiatric problems such as anxiety and depression poses challenges to treatment and research. This study tested whether problem items from the Anxious/Depressed scale of the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) can be separated into distinct anxiety and depression classes or are continuously distributed throughout a population. METHOD: A CBCL was completed by a parent or guardian of each of 1,987 children and adolescents selected to represent nonreferred children in the United States, as well as by a parent or guardian of each of a demographically matched sample of 1,987 clinically referred children and adolescents. Problem items from the Anxious/Depressed scale of the CBCL were subjected to latent class analysis. RESULTS: Analyses revealed three levels of problem presentation in both samples. Children in the nonreferred sample were classified as having no problems, mild problems, or moderate anxiety/depression problems. Children and adolescents in the referred group were classified as having mild, moderate, or severe levels of problems. No pure anxiety or depression classes were found, only classes containing a mixture of both anxiety and depressive problems. Age, gender, and sample differences were found in class groupings, with nonreferred adolescent girls showing elevated levels of problems. CONCLUSIONS: Results suggest that the comorbid conditions of anxiety and depression, as assessed by the CBCL anxiety/depression problem items, can be thought of as part of the same continuum of problems. Implications for assessment and treatment utilization are discussed.  相似文献

The prevalence of obesity in children and young adults in Germany has dramatically increased during the last decades. We investigated the impact of an one year outpatient intervention including physical training, psychotherapy and nutrition counselling on psychological status and course of weight of 19 adolescents who were diagnosed with obesity (intervention group, IG). The following questions were of particular interest: Is there a difference between children with obesity (n = 19, mean age 12.4 years) and controls (without obesity and overweight, control group, CG, n = 38, matched for age and sex) regarding the extent of emotional and behavioural problems, self-esteem and physical complaints? Does the intervention lead to a decrease of these problems as rated by the adolescents and mothers? Can we find a significant reduction of the BMI-SDS after one year training in the IG? The group comparisons between the IG and the CG revealed lower feelings of self-esteem, more self rated physical complaints, higher values on measures of depression/anxiety and attention problems in the CBCL for children with obesity, compared with controls. After one year training adolescents' psychological well being increased significantly while the BMI-SDS only decreased moderately. We conclude that children with obesity can benefit from receiving outpatient intervention if psychological and medical aspects are considered.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to examine the Screen for Child Anxiety-Related Emotional Disorders' (SCARED) divergent and convergent validity and its ability to identify anxious children. The SCARED, the Child Behaviour Checklist (CBCL), and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC) were administered to children, adolescents (n = 295), and their parents attending an outpatient mood and anxiety disorders clinic. DSM-IIIR/IV diagnoses were made using a semistructured interview (n = 130) or a symptom checklist (n = 165). The Multi-Trait Multi-Method Matrix was used to assess construct validity, and Receiver Operating Curve analysis was used to assess the sensitivity and specificity of the SCARED, CBCL, and STAIC. The SCARED correlated significantly better with the CBCL's internalizing factors than with the externalizing factors. In addition, parent and child forms of the SCARED correlated significantly with the trait and state subscales of the STAIC. Children with an anxiety disorder scored significantly higher on the SCARED than children with depression only or disruptive disorders only (P < 0.05), thus demonstrating the discriminant validity of the SCARED. The SCARED is a reliable and valid screening tool for clinically referred children and adolescents with anxiety disorders.  相似文献

It is a myth that intellectual disability somehow precludes children and adolescents from being emotionally responsive and being open to suffer from psychopathological disorders. Evidence will be presented that at least 30 per cent of intellectually disabled children and adolescents suffer from a range of serious emotional and behavioural disorders, many of which are the same as those suffered by children of normal intelligence, but at a rate two to three times that of other children. Agreement on a common approach to the classification and diagnosis of these disorders is lacking, but there is evidence that depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder and other psychopathological disorders of childhood can occur in intellectually disabled children. It is also possible that there are some patterns of psychopathology that are more exclusive and require further research, in order to understand their diagnostic status, etiology and management. There is no doubt that this psychopathology is a major source of distress for the children, their families and those involved in their care, but research and our understanding of effective treatments is still lacking. The value of attempting to make a clinical psychiatric assessment of intellectually disabled children with severe emotional and behavioural problems will be highlighted by several case examples.  相似文献

This report examines clinical features of generalized anxiety disorder in adolescents and young adults with mild mental retardation (MR), compared with children and adolescents with normal IQ. Frequency of symptoms, comorbidity, agreement between reports of subjects and parents, correlation between IQ and severity of disorder, and comparison between frequency of symptoms in the experimental and control groups are described. Twenty-two subjects with MR (12 males and 10 females aged 11-25 years; mean age = 16.3), 30 children (19 males and 11 females aged 7-11.11; mean age = 10), and 30 adolescents (18 males and 12 females aged 12.1-18; mean age = 15.2) participated in the study. All the subjects were comprehensively diagnosed with diagnostic interviews (K-SADS or DICA-R). According to our data, generalized anxiety disorder can be diagnosed in adolescents with mild MR, with high agreement between self-reports and parent reports. Phenomenology of GAD in mildly developmentally delayed persons grossly paralleled that of normal IQ people, except for brooding, somatic complaints, and sleep disorders. Number and severity of symptoms did not correlate with Full Scale and Verbal IQs. High rates of comorbidity with depression were evident both in normal IQ and in developmentally delayed subjects.  相似文献

In past research the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) has differentiated among various diagnostic categories for children and adolescents. However, research has not been conducted on whether the CBCL differentiates among diagnostic categories for children at high risk for development of psychopathology. This study compares four diagnostic groups [bipolar disorder (BD), attention/deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Depressed/Anxious and No Diagnosis] within a cohort of 58 children of bipolar parents to determine whether their CBCL scores will replicate the scores of children not at high risk for bipolar disorder. The cohort of children of bipolar parents received elevated scores on the CBCL scales in comparison with non-clinical populations. In addition, the CBCL distinguished between children of bipolar parents with and without clinical disorders. Finally the BD group differed from the ADHD group only on the Aggressive Behaviors, Withdrawn and Anxious/Depressed subscales of the CBCL. Therefore the CBCL did not discriminate between the BD and ADHD groups as it had in previous studies of children with BD and unspecified family history. It is possible that this discrepancy is due to a group of children of bipolar parents with ADHD who are currently prodromal for bipolar disorder and therefore received higher scores on the CBCL based on prodromal symptomatology. A longitudinal follow-up of this cohort is necessary to ascertain whether this is the case.  相似文献

Objective: Many previous studies have surveyed associations between Tourette syndrome (TS) and co-morbid psychiatric disorders, but they usually did not include oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), conduct disorder (CD), separation anxiety disorder (SAD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Method: The subjects were children and adolescents with TS who visited a child and adolescent psychiatric clinic, and who were interviewed using DSM-IV diagnostic criteria. Characteristics of their tics were examined by the Yale-Global Tic Severity Scale (Y-GTSS). Behavioral problems were surveyed by the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) filled in by the parents. Results: About 87.9% of the subjects were boys. The mean age of the subjects was 11.8 years. The most common psychiatric disorders were attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), ODD, nail biting, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Only one subject was affected by TS without co-morbidities. Among TS patients with co-morbidities, those with disruptive behavioral disorders (DBD) have significantly higher mean scores than patients without DBD on the Externalizing scale, Social problems, Attention problems, Delinquent and Aggression scales. Co-morbidity of anxiety disorders was not related to the CBCL scores. Conclusion: Many of our results were similar to those reported in studies conducted in other parts of the world. TS is more common in boys and nearly all of them had at least one co-morbid disorder. The most common co-morbidity was ADHD. Behavioral problems in TS are related to the co-morbidity with the DBD, and possibly not to the anxiety disorders.  相似文献

Background: Suicidal behaviour, i.e. suicidal ideation and suicidal acts, as well as self-harm behaviour, are relatively common among adolescents. Depression and/or female gender seem to be risk factors for suicidal behaviour. However, the role of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in these behaviours is still unclear. Aim: To study the effect of ADHD on suicidal or self-harm behaviour in adolescents from a general population sample. Methods: The sample was derived from a population-based Northern Finland Birth Cohort 1986 (n = 9432). Based on the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Children, Present and Lifetime Version (Kiddie-SADS-PL) interview performed in a subpopulation (n = 457), the associations between suicidal behaviour and deliberate self-harm (DSH) and the diagnosis of ADHD were studied. Results: Compared with adolescents without ADHD (n = 169), those with ADHD (n = 104) had more suicidal ideation (57% vs. 28%, P < 0.001) and DSH (69% vs. 32%, P < 0.001). In binary logistic models, the effect of ADHD on suicidal ideation remained strong (OR = 6.1) after controlling for several other predictors. Other contributing factors in suicidal behaviour included female gender, childhood emotional and behavioural problems, concurrent depression and anxiety, and, specifically in DSH, behavioural disorder, substance abuse and strains in family relations. Discussion and clinical implications: ADHD is a risk factor for suicidal ideation and DSH. These findings in a general population sample speak for a need to target mental health interventions at children and adolescents with relevant symptoms of ADHD.  相似文献

AIM: The aim of this study was to assess the psychopathological and behavioural problems in patients affected by any tic disorder and their relationship with the severity of tic symptomatology. METHODS: A cross-sectional assessment was made of 125 children and adolescents affected by any tic disorder, all at their first neuropsychiatric evaluation and all drug na?ve. Tic disorder diagnoses were established by using The Tourette Syndrome Classification Study Group criteria; the procedures included the administration of Yale Global Tic Severity Scale (YGTSS), Children Yale-Brown-Obsessive-Compulsive Scale (CY-BOCS) and Child Behaviour Checklist (CBCL). RESULTS: The patients showed a mild to moderate tic disorder (mean YGTSS score = 27). Of the patients, 19% had Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), but another 46% showed Obsessive-Compulsive (OC) symptoms. CBCL T total was pathologic in 17% of the children, with higher percentages in the Internalization and Attention Problems subscales. Statistical analysis pointed out a significant relationship between YGTSS and CY-BOCS scores as well as a significant relationship between the duration of tic symptomatology and several CBCL subscales (Internalization, Depressed/Anxious, Thought and Attention Problems). CONCLUSION: Our data can be summarized in three main points: a large number of patients have milder tics without any psychopathological comorbidity; OC symptoms are frequently associated with tics, mainly in children with more severe symptomatology; psychopathological problems, in particular internalizing difficulties, are present in children with long standing tic disorders.  相似文献
