Due to the rise of the logistics industry and the widespread use of ink labels, problems such as the narrow operating temperature range of ink, poor alcohol resistance, and insufficient scratch resistance need to be solved urgently. In this work, creates alcohol-resistant thermal transfer inks by mixing polypropylene chloride (VP-365) and epoxidized hydrogenated bisphenol A (P) resin and incorporating them into the ink formulation. The synthetic ink has a lower glass transition temperature (118.2°C), allowing the ink to print at lower temperatures. It has small wetting angles (68°, 63°, 58°, 46°, and 40°) and a large adhesion force (10.44 – 14.4 N) for different labels. Further, to evaluate the printing performance of the ink, the ink was scratched under 1000 g pressure and in the environment of isopropyl alcohol to evaluate its printing performance. The produced ink has high scratch resistance (300 times) and good alcohol resistance (140 times). Moreover, the developed ink showed good printability, printing media versatility, high adhesion, and excellent alcohol resistance. The synthesis method is facile and cost-effective, which paves a novel way towards high-performance ink printing and thermal transfer technology industries.  相似文献

Polymers containing a certain amount of long-chain-branching (LCB) structure are expected to possess improved mechanical properties over those of the linear structure counterpart. However, fundamental knowledge on the structure–property relationship in LCB containing polypropylene (PP) is still illusive. In the present study, a set of model PP systems containing an increasing molar fraction of LCB (5–19 mol%) were prepared by reactive extrusion to determine how LCB content may influence the scratch behavior of PP. It is shown that with only 5 mol% of LCB content in PP can improve resistance against scratch-induced fish-scale formation by over 25%. The improvement of scratch resistance is attributed to the increases in entanglement density in LCB-containing PPs, which is evidenced by their creep-recovery behavior. The present study demonstrates that the incorporation of LCB in PP leads to higher viscoelastic recovery and increased tensile strength, which account for the observed improvement in scratch performance. The usefulness of LCB in polymers for improving scratch performance is discussed.  相似文献

采用熔融共混挤出的方法,制备了聚丙烯/滑石粉/弹性体三元共混材料,并考察了两种耐划伤剂对材料耐划伤性能、散发性能和力学性能的影响。采用十字划伤仪和色差仪对材料在常温和热老化(102℃,168 h)条件下的耐划伤性能进行了评价;采用气味评定、顶空–气相色谱、挥发性有机化合物(VOC)袋子法以及雾度仪分别对添加两种耐划伤剂后材料的气味、总挥发性有机化合物(TVOC)以及VOC和雾度进行了测试。结果表明,采用酰胺类和有机硅类耐划伤剂可改善聚丙烯材料表面的耐划伤性能,常温下两者效果相当,但热老化后前者耐划伤性能消失,而后者仍具有良好的耐划伤性能。在散发性能方面,采用有机硅类耐划伤剂在气味等级、VOC、雾度等方面均优于酰胺类划伤剂。相对于酰胺类耐划伤剂,添加有机硅类耐划伤剂的材料韧性和熔体流动速率有所提升。通过使用有机硅类耐划伤剂制备了在耐划伤性能和散发性能上均满足材料要求的汽车零部件。  相似文献

A starch‐based biodegradable (BD) low density polyethylene (LDPE) film can be directly printable without any corona treatment, unlike virgin LDPE film. Such a film shows poor adhesion and nail scratch resistance of the ink on the printed area of the film. In order to increase the adhesion and nail scratch resistance of the ink on the printed BD film, grafting of acrylonitrile onto the BD film is carried out. The polyacrylonitrile grafted BD film shows better adhesion, nail scratch resistance, and printability. The printability of the polyacrylonitrile grafted BD film is comparable to the conventional corona treated LDPE film. The extent of printability is a function of the surface smoothness, as well as the optimum percentage of grafting on the biodegradable film. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 以丙烯酸酯类为主要单体,环氧树脂和有机硅大分子乳液为改性剂,R303为主要乳化剂,通过乳液聚合方法合成了耐指纹涂料用聚合物乳液成膜物,讨论了乳化剂、环氧树脂和有机硅对乳液及涂膜性能的影响。结果表明,采用阳/非离子复合乳化体系可以制得酸性环境下使用的聚合物乳液,涂膜烘烤过程中活泼的环氧基团与其它基团的交联会大幅度提高涂膜的耐腐蚀性和硬度,有机硅参与聚和后会进一步改善涂层的耐水耐腐蚀性,当m(R303)∶m(OP-10)为3∶1,E-51质量分数为10%,乙烯基有机硅乳液质量分数为5%时,合成的乳液成膜物有较好的综合性能。  相似文献

为合理制定内外饰零件材料性能指标和合理选材,通过改变配方材料的质量比,实验研究了内外饰用聚丙烯材料配方成分对性能的影响规律。研究结果表明,配方中滑石粉含量增多,材料刚性和强度均有提高,硬度降低,热变形温度增加,耐刮擦性能下降;随滑石粉目数的增加,材料综合性能均有提升;POE含量对材料低温冲击性能具有决定作用。  相似文献

This article reviews the effect of chitosan, cationic starch and polyvinyl alcohol as sizing agents to improve printability properties of kenaf handsheets. The polymers were incorporated into the sheets by spray application. This study clearly demonstrated that the use of chitosan could improve the printability and print quality of kenaf paper in terms of water and oil absorption, ink penetration, print density and gloss for offset printing. Both PVA-sizing and cationic starch sizing gave print densities and ink penetrations than were intermediate between chitosan and the unsized control sheet, which gave the lowest values for these properties. Kenaf paper sized with chitosan gave the best mix of desirable printing paper properties and was superior to kenaf papers sized with either cationic starch or PVA.  相似文献

The ink industry is one of the world's largest markets due to the increasing demand for printing inks for the packaging industry. Flexography printing is a well-known promising technology for large-area printing due to its high printing speed and roll-to-roll capability to print economically on a variety of surfaces and is used in nearly in all areas of packaging printing. Water-based inks are considered non-toxic, odourless, and more environmentally friendly options compared to solvent-based inks. Therefore, in this article, the goal was to develop new water-based ink formulation with different acrylic binders for flexographic printing on commercial solid bleached sulphate (SBS) board. Five inks were formulated with four different acrylic binders and compared to a commercially available ink to study their performance. The developed inks were investigated with regard to their print qualities and print characteristics. It was found that the binder type influenced some print quality while the effect was not significant for others. Using flexography printed cyan inks, the ink formulated with the highest molecular weight had the lowest print density and the largest tonal value increase (TVI) observed between 40 and 60 tone values. The same ink had the largest mottle values and variation in topography. For values of print contrast and delta gloss at 75°, although differences were observed between average values, data had inconclusive variation and spread around averages, where no conclusive trends or effects of acrylic binder type on these response factors were observed. Print chroma and dot roundness results were equally close for all printed samples.  相似文献

The conventional offset lithographic printing ink is mainly based on linseed oil. But in recent years, due to stiff competition from synthetic substitutes mainly from petroleum products, the crop production shrinks down to an unsustainable level, which increases the price of linseed oil. Though soyabean oil has replaced a major portion of linseed oil, it is also necessary to develop alternate cost effective vegetable oils for printing ink industry. The present study aims to evaluate the performance of karanja oil (Pongamia glabra) as an alternative of linseed oil in the formulation of offset printing ink because karanja oil is easily available in rural India. Physical properties of raw karanja oil are measured and compared with that of alkali refined linseed oil. Rosin modified phenolic resin based varnishes were made with linseed oil as well as with karanja oil and their properties are compared. Sheetfed offset inks of process colour yellow and cyan is chosen to evaluate the effect of karanja oil in ink properties. In conclusion, karanja oil can be accepted as an alternate vegetable oil source with its noticeable effect on print and post print properties with slower drying time on paper. However, the colour and odour of the oil will restrict its usage on offset inks.  相似文献

The current commercial application of ink‐jet reactive inks to cotton fabrics requires pretreating with pad liquor containing a thickener, urea and alkali prior to printing. In this study, attempts have been made to develop a reactive ink‐jet print in a single‐phase process by adding an organic salt to the ink formulation and hence removing the need to pretreat fabrics. This approach utilises inks containing both a reactive dye, in this case Procion Red H‐E3B, and an organic salt such as sodium formate, sodium acetate, sodium propionate or tri‐sodium citrate. The behaviour of a novel reactive ink formulation for ink‐jet printing on to cotton fabric was evaluated at different pH vlaues. The results at optimum pH indicated that printed non‐pretreated fabrics with ink containing organic salts exhibited a higher level of reactive dye fixation than printed pretreated fabric containing no organic salt ink. The yielded prints demonstrate excellent colour fastness to washing and dry/wet crocking properties. The light fastness of the printed fabrics was improved by adding an organic salt to the ink formulation.  相似文献

为获得高固低粘的油墨配方体系,通过油墨的分散实验,探讨了分散树脂和乳液及其助剂对水基油墨体系粘度的影响规律,润湿分散剂对水基油墨粘度的影响,胺化剂对水基油墨粘度的影响机理。研究表明,乳液聚合物具有高固低粘特性,拼混使用不同的聚合物可获得理想粘度和应用性能;润湿分散剂能改变体系的表面张力和润湿性能,从而降低水基油墨体系的粘度;拼混使用不同的胺化剂可以获得粘度稳定的水基油墨体系。  相似文献

Inks composed of renewable resources are important for the environment protection. We report preparation of a new type of edible chitosan‐based flexographic ink. The performance of three inks, containing three different molecular weight (MW) chitosan, was analyzed by the different experimental techniques. The Ink viscosity was investigated from the parameters shear rate, time, temperature, and flexographic printing simulation. The printing quality on coated paper was studied by the scratch resistance, contact angle, print fastness, chromatic aberration, and dot gain. Viscosity recovery rate reached 69% after 6 s, and the print fastness was up to 91%. The experimental ΔE is 0.97, the dot gain is 23%, and contact angle is 69° for the best ink. Experimental results indicate that the developed ink is suitable for the flexographic printing with good application prospects. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. 研究了三种不同牌号的硅酮耐刮擦母粒对聚丙烯(PP)复合材料的物理力学性能和耐刮擦性能的影响,采用3D激光扫描共聚焦显微镜(CSLM)对划痕表面形貌、截面形貌进行观察和3D模拟。结果表明,硅酮母粒降低了材料的强度、刚性和表面硬度,而且洛氏硬度和拉伸强度有一致的变化关系。划痕横截面积与ΔL值有一定的对应关系,都可以作为评价材料耐刮擦性的指标。通过CSLM的3D模拟图可以定性评价材料的耐刮擦性。  相似文献

The influence of compatibilization on the dynamic mechanical properties of polypropylene (PP) binary blends with polyamide‐6 (PA6), Talc, and oxidized PP (OPP) was investigated. The oxidation of PP homopolymer was performed in a internal mixer by using air as a oxidizing agent (under atmospheric pressure) and dodecanol‐1 as an accelerator at 180°C for 6½ h [Abdouss, M.; Sharifi‐Sanjani, N.; Bataille, P. J Appl Polym Sci 1999, 36, 10]. In the blends, OPP was used as a blend component and compared with PP over the whole concentration range. Pressed film blends of PP/OPP, PP/OPP/Talc, and PP/OPP/PA6 were examined by dynamic mechanical analyzer, thermal gravimetry analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. 以苯乙烯(St)、甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、丙烯酸(AA)等为主要原料,采用自乳化法制备具有核壳结构的无皂苯丙乳液。研究了丙烯酸用量、中和度、核单体用量及引发剂用量等因素对制备过程、乳液及涂膜性能的影响,并用FT-IR、TEM对聚合物和胶粒结构进行了表征。研究表明:当丙烯酸用量为15%~20%、中和度为90%、核单体用量为30%时,乳液的粒径小,自乳化性、稳定性达到最佳,且由此乳液配制的水性上光油具有较高的光泽,良好的耐水性和耐磨性。  相似文献
