建筑的逻辑与门--两次天作建筑设计竞赛的思考

通过回顾天作建筑工作室组织的两次学生设计竞赛，展示了两次获奖作品，并从设计过程、设计思维和设计表达三个角度对竞赛进行了分析和总结。     

"电影与建筑"专题设计教学札记

“电影与建筑”专题设计是华中科技大学建筑与城市规划学院建筑学系在四年级进行的教学探索。在介绍该教学组织的过程中也阐述了电影与建筑的关联，并结合学生的《设计周志》详细分析了中期教学环节——“电影空间还原”的成果以及最终两份优秀作业的设计理念和设计过程。     

建筑设计课的设计——南京大学硕士生"基本设计"教学的一个案例

“基本设计”是南京大学建筑学院开设的三门硕士研究生设计课之一，它的教学目的是基于对现代建筑的理解，在来自不同学校的学生以及学生与老师之间建立起“共同语言”。介绍了2004～2005和2005～2006两个年度的“基本设计”的教学过程和教案设计的思路。     

谈林学明的"设计"与"设计的设计"

作为一名设计师,林学明不仅仅从事设计,更从事“设计的设计”。从事设计,成就了林学明富于创造力的非凡气质与智慧;从事“设计的设计”,则成就了集美组这一实力派的先锋设计团队而这两种设计的结合则成就了一个接一个的优秀的设计项目与设计作品。     

探讨具有"地方特色"的居住区

1998年—2000年，我先后主持设计了北京国兴家园小区及成都东方明珠花园小区两个住宅项目。这两个项目一南一北，所处地理气候环境差异较大，规模也不相同：国兴家园地上总建筑面积为18.83万m2，东方明珠花园地上面积为7.26m2。两个小区建成后，在各自的城市反响都不错，并同时获得了2003年度北京市优秀工程（住宅）二等奖。在这两个项目的创作实施过程中，面对的问题虽大同不异，也存在着地域环境、人文的差异，以及人们对居住环境品质的要求的不同和变化，因而也就带有各自不同的鲜明的地方色彩。因此对这两个居住小区创作的分析和反思就成为一件十分有意义的事。     

论建筑的"唯一"性

本文通过设计实例，从四个方面(建筑学的哲学范畴；建筑的科学技术性；建筑的艺术性；建筑的文化范畴)来论述建筑在某些特定环境下，存在逻辑上的“唯一”性，提倡一种理性的设计观念。     

向电影学习——"电影北京"建筑与城市设计教学笔记

“电影北京”是清华大学建筑学院三年级建筑与城市设计教学的课题之一,通过对电影与建筑和城市之间关联的探讨,分别以“建筑的社会性”和“建筑的艺术性”为侧重点进行了两个阶段的教学实践;并基于第一阶段教学评图的反馈,以“电影北京（2）”的两个习作为例展开分析,既是从电影出发对建筑与城市设计教学的一次探索,也是从建筑与城市的视角对电影的一次学习。     

住宅的"异化"

通过分析束缚住宅设计中不合理的制约因素，提出住宅设计应遵循建筑设计的共性原则，打破“平均化”思维定式和经济制约观念，创造个性化的居住空间及环境。

更新观念 应对"入世"

概述当前防水工程质量出现的新问题，提出在住宅建筑商品化的今天，防水功能应作重新定位，并大力加强防水施工技术,优异大“入世”后，我国建筑防水施工企业应进一步解放思想，从过去低层次的低价格竞争逐步向高层次的质量与服务竞争方式转变，通过“二次防水设计”，推选质量保证期制度和组建以施工企业为主体的防合舰队等举措，来应对国内外防水市场的严峻挑战，并使我国建筑防水技术和工程质量实现根本性的提高。     

关于提高燃气工程设计经济性的探讨

在经济飞速发展的今天，工程设计已不再只是如何确保设计的技术可行性，更重要的问题是如何在技术可行的基础上，确保设计的经济合理性。文章就如何提高燃气工程设计经济性进行分析。

随着建筑设计企业在行业中的快速发展,管理上涌现出越来越多的问题:包括如何提高方案的原创水平,如何有效开展设计质量管理,如何进行人才培养及避免人才流失,如何开展新技术应用及提高设计效率等。结合实际情况,文章就上述问题分别作详细的探讨和对策分析。     

Rethinking sustainability frameworks in neighbourhood projects: a process-based approach

ABSTRACT

A process-based approach is used to examine the deployment of two neighbourhood-scale sustainability assessment systems and their tools in two European cities. It explores how these sustainability assessment systems and their tools are contextualized within a larger design and planning process by considering how stakeholders collaborate, how they set design problems, how they make decisions and how they propose design solutions in the early design phases. Specifically, using interviews conducted with key project actors in Malmö, Sweden, and Barcelona, Spain, this paper examines how the sustainability assessment systems in each respective case study were framed, and how this framing impacted upon the design process. A key finding is that how sustainability assessment systems are framed has just as significant an impact as the nature of the tools, especially on the processes entailed. Community participation can have a strong, positive impact on the design process and on outcomes. The case studies confirm that context and players cannot be divorced from tools.     

Collaborative sketching—co-authoring future scenarios with bits and pieces of ethnography

Sketching is a most central activity within most design projects. But what happens if we adopt the ideas of collaborative design and invite participants that are not trained to sketch in to the design process, how can they participate in this central activity? This paper offers an introduction to how design material based on ethnography can be understood as sketching material. It suggests a process where the sketching tools are constructed within the scope of the project. Some practical details of how the design material has been co-authored will be explored. Finally, this paper shows how the design material has been used to co-author possible futures within the scope of design sessions.     

Integration of fire safety and building design

A new framework is presented to facilitate better incorporation of building fire safety performance options into the building design process. Based on the building design process and key design decisions undertaken at each phase, a knowledge set is developed to aid building designers to understand better the effects of design decisions on building fire performance. This also minimizes potential competing objectives in later design phases by sharing necessary concerns in advance. Drawing on the knowledge set, a conceptual building fire safety evaluation tool illustrates how primary building designers and fire safety engineers can quantitatively assess fire safety performance for different solutions. It is shown how building fire safety performance attributes can be arranged by building design phase, how various scenarios can be explored, and how appropriately balanced building design and fire safety design solutions can be identified at different phases of the building design process.

以北京天文馆的"复杂异形曲面夹层中空玻璃"为例,介绍如何根据玻璃的三维效果图利用计算机辅助设计来模拟展开空间曲面玻璃,如何绘制切割文件进行玻璃切割;如何根据玻璃的三维效果图利用计算机辅助设计来分割曲面玻璃,进行模具的加工等。     

住宅建筑给排水设计中的管道布置及选材方法

结合多年建筑给排水设计经验,简要阐述了住宅建筑排水设计中如何布置给排水管道及如何选择使用材料,并介绍了屋面及阳台的雨水排水设计,以期指导设计人员做出经济、实用、优秀的给排水设计方案。     

工业建筑立面设计细节的美学处理——真实性与时代感的表达

现代工业建筑设计中,由于工艺流程及功能布局的要求,经常会出现一些不能用常规手法妥善处理的情况。就立面设计中存在的具体问题展开讨论,对立面与功能真实结合下的美学处理、立面设计语言与时代特征的结合处理、立面色彩与企业文化的结合处理三方面展开详细论述。
