基料一滤层利用数码可视化跟踪技术、计算机信息实时处理技术和土体变形无标点量测技术,对宽级配基料一滤层系统进行了渗透室内模型试验。探讨了滤层准则的适用性,研究了不同滤层厚度和加压速率对管涌发生发展的影响。结果表明:传统太沙基滤层准则不适用于宽级配砂土,建议采用可移动颗粒中的d85s进行滤层准则设计;增加滤层厚度可提高系统的抗渗透破坏能力,但提高滤层厚度对提高整个系统抵抗渗透能力作用不大;水力梯度增加较快不利于系统的稳定。  相似文献

研究了波动水流对海堤织物滤层的水力要素及过滤机理。粒径小于0.6 mm颗粒间存在粘着力;同时,由于滤层和堤体的渗透流速不一致,则堤体界面的土颗粒将受水流剪应力的作用。在分析了使土颗粒发生变形的水流剪应力、变形土体周壁的屈服应力和波浪压力等后,根据平衡原理,建立了织物滤层的保土性准则。  相似文献

对管涌和滤层两个相关联问题的研究发展过程进行了综述和评论,并将过去的研究成果与之比较。管涌问题是土体渗透变形的一个重要现象,关系到地基的渗流破坏。首先探讨了管涌的内在涵义,评述了当今管涌的研究现状及其发展方向,然后介绍了一些过去的试验资料、研究成果和计算公式,包括管涌土与非管涌土的判别方法,垂直向上渗流和水平渗流时的管涌临界坡降,并引用目前文献中的试验资料验证其公式是可靠的,最后说明了建立在土颗粒级配曲线上的管涌研究方法是当前的研究趋势,因而对这些过去的研究成果进行比较、讨论是有益的。  相似文献

为研究适用于洞庭湖区二元结构堤基的减压井结构型式,采用室内试验对比分析了土工织物包扎塑料花管式、钢管式、砂滤体式及无砂混凝土式井管的排水减压效果,并结合洞庭湖区何家堤减压井试验工程研究了合理的滤层结构。试验表明,塑料盲沟和毛细板减压井是适合洞庭湖区二元堤基的两种减压井结构型式。  相似文献

反滤回灌井是地下水库中一种有效的回灌设施,它由回灌井和回灌池组成,回灌池位于井口、具有反滤功能。介绍了反滤回灌井单井回灌量的计算方法,提出反滤回灌井结构设计的原则和方法。回灌池反滤结构应有两层,上部反滤层应能过滤回灌水中的杂质,选择较细的砂粒;下部反滤层应能防止上层反滤料通过井盖的孔口落入井内,选择较粗的砾类。从过流能力和水流流态的角度。对回灌池的外型进行了优化,探讨了回灌池池口和池底横截面面积的比例,提出应选择抛物线型竖向剖面,同时介绍了回灌池防淤和抗冲设计的方法。  相似文献

在土工织物反滤排水工程中,织物滤层在应力、渗流实际工况下的反滤特性是保证工程安全的关键问题。为揭示无纺土工织物过滤黏土的反滤机制,采用自主研制的可施加法向压应力的梯度比渗透仪试验装置测定黏土−无纺土工织物滤层体系的渗透系数kT、各分层土的渗透系数kj、梯度比RG和试验前后土工织物试样的质量变化情况,研究在不同水力梯度、应力水平下无纺土工织物过滤黏土的反滤特性。结果表明:黏土−无纺土工织物滤层体系的渗透系数kT和梯度比RG随着时间的增加而减小,并最终趋于一个稳定值;增大水力梯度可以改善黏土−无纺土工织物滤层的透水性,增加应力水平会降低土工织物滤层的透水性且提高其保土性;渗流作用下,被保护土层表现为靠近无纺土工织物的底层土渗透系数最小,远离无纺土工织物的最上层土的渗透系数最大;堵塞系数与黏土−无纺土工织物滤层体系的渗透系数kT、梯度比RG存在内在的关系,在特定的应力−渗流作用下可能存在一个临界堵塞系数,大于该值时将造成无纺土工织物滤层的反滤失效。  相似文献

在水力梯度逐级递增的条件下,采用饱和软黏土进行了两种不同塑料排水板(PVD)滤膜(外包土工织物)梯度比试验,探讨两种PVD滤膜的淤堵特性,并结合真空预压软基加固的实际工况进行分析。试验结果显示,随着水力梯度的递增,一种表观孔径大的新工艺PVD滤膜的梯度比呈现先上升后下降的总趋势,并最终趋于稳定,常规PVD滤膜的梯度比总体呈上升趋势,无法趋于稳定。研究表明,不同水力梯度对滤膜淤堵有着较大影响,新工艺PVD滤膜在真空预压实际工况(水力梯度较高)下的防淤堵效果优于常规PVD滤膜。PVD滤膜的淤堵问题与滤膜制作工艺、孔径和软黏土性质有关,其淤堵机制仍需进一步的研究。  相似文献

Granular filters are an essential component in earth dams to protect the dam core from seepage erosion. This paper uses the particle flow method (PFM) to study the mechanism of particle transport in a base soil–filter system. The distributions of the eroded base-soil particles in different filters are traced and analyzed. The eroded mass and intruding depth of the eroded particles into the filters are obtained under different times and hydraulic gradients. The simulation results show that the eroded mass and intruding depth of the base-soil particles into the filter are related to the representative particle size ratio of the base soil to the filter, hydraulic gradient and erosion time. The numerical predictions are also compared with the empirical filter design criterion. The results show that the particle flow model provides an effective approach for studying the filtration micro-property and the erosion mechanism in a base soil–filter system, which is useful for filter design.  相似文献

Empirical criteria have been used successfully to design filters of most embankment large dam projects throughout the world. However, these empirical rules are only applicable to a particular range of soils tested in laboratory and do not take into account the variability of the base material and filter particle sizes. In addition, it is widely accepted that the safety of fill dams is mainly dependent on the reliability of their filter performance. The work herein presented consists in a new general method for assessing the probability of fulfilling any empirical filter design criteria accounting for base and filter heterogeneity by means of first‐order reliability methods (FORM), so that reliability indexes and probabilities of fulfilling any particular criteria are obtained. This method will allow engineers to estimate the safety of existing filters in terms of probability of fulfilling their design criteria and might also be used as a decision tool on sampling needs and material size tolerances during construction. In addition, sensitivity analysis makes possible to analyse how reliabilities are influenced by different sources of input data. Finally, in case of a portfolio risk assessment, this method will allow engineers to compare the safety of several existing dams in order to prioritize safety investments and it is expected to be a very useful tool to evaluate probabilities of failure due to internal erosion. Factorial Kriging (FK) is a data- dependent spatial filtering method that can be used to remove both independent and correlated noise on geological images as well as to enhance lineaments for subsequent geological interpretation. The spatial variability of signal, noise, and lineaments, characterized by a variogram model, have been used explicitly in calculating FK filter coefficients that are equivalent to the kriging weighting coefficients. This is in contrast to the conventional spatial filtering method by predefined, data-independent filters, such as Gaussian and Sobel filters. The geostatistically optimal FK filter coefficients, however, do not guarantee an optimal filtering effect, if filter geometry (size and shape) are not properly selected. The selection of filter geometry has been investigated by examining the sensitivity of the FK filter coefficients to changes in filter size as well as variogram characteristics, such as nugget effect, type, range of influence, and anisotropy. The efficiency of data-dependent FK filtering relative to data-independent spatial filters has been evaluated through simulated stochastic images by two examples. In the first example, both FK and data-independent filters are used to remove white noise in simulated images. FK filtering results in a less blurring effect than the data-independent fillers, even for a filter size as large as 9 × 9. In the second example, FK and data-independent filters are compared relative to the extraction of lineaments and components showing anisotropic variability. It was determined that square windows of the filter mask are effective only for removing Isotropie components or white noise. A nonsquare windows must be used if anisotropic components are to be filtered out. FK filtering for lineament enhancement is shown to be resistant to image noise, whereas data-independent filters are sensitive to the presence of noise. We also have applied the FK filtering to the GLORIA side-scan sonar image from the Gulf of Mexico, illustrating that FK is superior to the data-independent filters in removing noise and enhancing lineaments. The case study also demonstrate that variogram analysis and FK filtering can be used for large images if a spectral analysis and optimal filter design in the frequency domain is prohibitive because of a large memory requirement.  相似文献

Filters managed in zoned dams are designed according to criteria based on the grain size distribution of both filter and eroded soil. However, the constriction size distribution of the filter is the key parameter which governs the filter retention process of flowing eroded particles. To assess the filter efficiency regarding eroded particles, several filters and base soils are tested in a vertical cell with a configuration coupling erosion and filtration processes. For setting the boundary condition of eroded particles at the filter inlet, hole erosion test (HET) was performed on the base soil. The investigation of the evolution of filter behavior shows that the void ratio and the grain shape are of a great influence on filter efficiency. A new approach of filter clogging was proposed by evaluating a damage index which is affected by various parameters such as the ratio D15/d85 and the size of eroded particles. An approach linking the geometrical parameters (damage index) to the hydraulic conductivity leads to an estimation of the filter performance which provides a more quantifiable and realistic criterion. The results indicate that even existing criteria were not met; the tested filters remain efficient as regards to experimental data. An analytical approach based on constrictions size distribution was used and pore reduction was matched with experimental results.

Wiener filters are derived from the horizontal field data of two adjacent equatorial electrojet stations, Adis Ababa and Trivandrum from several sequences of quiet days. The time invariant property of the filter is established and the filter is applied to conditions marked by afternoon counter electrojet events. The prediction efficiency is shown to be consistently high. Possible uses of this technique in studies related to generating mechanisms of counter electrojet events and the day-to-day variability in electrojet currents are indicated. Inter-relationships and day-to-day variability of different components of the fields at the two stations are highlighted.  相似文献

The nonlinear filtering problem occurs in many scientific areas. Sequential Monte Carlo solutions with the correct asymptotic behavior such as particle filters exist, but they are computationally too expensive when working with high-dimensional systems. The ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF) is a more robust method that has shown promising results with a small sample size, but the samples are not guaranteed to come from the true posterior distribution. By approximating the model error with a Gaussian distribution, one may represent the posterior distribution as a sum of Gaussian kernels. The resulting Gaussian mixture filter has the advantage of both a local Kalman type correction and the weighting/resampling step of a particle filter. The Gaussian mixture approximation relies on a bandwidth parameter which often has to be kept quite large in order to avoid a weight collapse in high dimensions. As a result, the Kalman correction is too large to capture highly non-Gaussian posterior distributions. In this paper, we have extended the Gaussian mixture filter (Hoteit et al., Mon Weather Rev 136:317–334, 2008) and also made the connection to particle filters more transparent. In particular, we introduce a tuning parameter for the importance weights. In the last part of the paper, we have performed a simulation experiment with the Lorenz40 model where our method has been compared to the EnKF and a full implementation of a particle filter. The results clearly indicate that the new method has advantages compared to the standard EnKF.  相似文献

为研究不同滤波算法在土壤湿度同化中的有效性,以及土壤湿度模拟结果对模型参数的敏感性,结合简单生物圈模型SiB2,设置敏感性实验,探求土壤饱和水力传导度对土壤湿度模拟结果的影响;并在此基础上,采用集合卡尔曼滤波(EnKF)、无迹卡尔曼滤波(UKF)和无迹粒子滤波(UPF)开展土壤湿度实时同化实验。结果表明:土壤饱和水力传导度能显著影响土壤湿度模拟精度;利用EnKF、UKF、UPF同化站点观测数据,均能改善土壤湿度模拟结果;3种同化方法在不同土壤层的同化效果不同,在土壤表层,EnKF的有效性优于UKF和UPF,在根域层和土壤深层,3种滤波方法有效性在降雨前后相差较大。因此,针对性地选择同化方法,是提高土壤湿度模拟精度的有效手段。  相似文献

This paper presents a three-dimensional coupled bonded particle and lattice Boltzmann method (BPLBM) with an immersed moving boundary scheme for the fluid-solid interaction. It is then applied to investigate the erosion process of soil particles in granular filters placed within earth dams. The microscopic migration of soil particles can be clearly visualised as the movement of particles can be directly recorded. Three granular filters with different representative size ratios are simulated and the numerical results are seen to match the empirical criteria. In addition, the effect of the representative size ratio of granular filters, hydraulic loading and erosion time are discussed.  相似文献

This paper presents the calibration of an experiment based on filtration tests, able to provide the cumulative constriction size distribution of granular materials. Here, simulations of these tests are performed using a discrete element method. Filters of same density but different thicknesses are created with a poly‐sized spherical material. Lateral periodic boundaries for the samples are used, and their size is calibrated so that a representative elementary volume is obtained. Fine particles are released on the created samples, and the particle size distribution of the collected material that successfully crossed the filters is computed. These particle size distributions are related to the underlying cumulative constriction size distribution (CSD) of the granular material involved in the samples. The CSD is derived using a probabilistic approach for the path length of individual particles through a granular material. We settle all the requisites related to the technique and to the fine particles that are released to allow reaching a correct CSD for the filter. The reference CSD used for the calibration of the experiment is obtained after a radical partition of the void space into Delaunay tetrahedra and a geometrical characterisation of constrictions on each tetrahedron face.
