Immunoreactive parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTH-rP) was measured in simultaneously obtained cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma from 51 patients suspected of suffering from a prolapsed intervertebral disc. Endocrine or psychiatric diseases were excluded. In addition, immunoreactive parathyroid hormone (PTH) in the CSF samples was measured. Both, PTH-rP and PTH were assayed by immunoradiometric assay. The results indicate the presence of both, PTH-rP and PTH in CSF. The following concentrations (mean values +/- SD) were found: PTH-rP (pmol/l) in CSF without pleocytosis (n = 17) 0.432 +/- 0.157, with pleocytosis (n = 34) 0.654 +/- 0.675; in plasma (pmol/l) 54.1 +/- 14.632; PTH (nmol/l) in CSF without pleocytosis (n = 17) 0.454 +/- 0.099, with pleocytosis (n = 34) 0.437 +/- 0.140, and in plasma 4.272 +/- 0.794. The concentrations of both, PTH-rP and PTH, in CSF with and without pleocytosis were not significantly different. No correlation was found between PTH-rP and PTH values. The present study demonstrated PTH-rP as a normal constituent in human CSF.  相似文献

The present study was performed to characterize the possible involvement of cAMP synthesis and protein kinase C (PKC) activation in the DNA synthesis-stimulating effect of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) in proximal tubule cells. We found that DNA synthesis was stimulated by 10 microM 8BrcAMP, and 1 microM Sp-cDBIMPS, two cAMP analogs, and also by 1 microM phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) and 100 microM 1,2-dioctanoyl-sn-glycerol, two PKC activators, and 10 nM [Cys23] human (h)PTHrP (24-35) amide in rabbit proximal tubule cells (PTC). Both Sp-cDBIMPS and PMA, at 1 microM, also increased DNA synthesis in SV40-immortalized mouse proximal tubule cells MCT. Human PTHrP (7-34) amide [PTHrP (7-34)] dose dependently stimulated DNA synthesis in a similar manner as [34Tyr]PTHrP (1-34) amide [PTHrP (1-34)], in PTC. PMA pre-treatment for 20 h, which downregulates PKC, completely blocked the effect induced by PTHrP (7-34), but not that of PTHrP (1-34), in the latter cells. In contrast, the same PMA pre-treatment abolished the DNA synthesis stimulation by PTHrP (1-34) and PTHrP (7-34) in MCT cells, which appear to have PTH receptors mainly coupled to phospholipase C and not adenylate cyclase. Our results indicate that the stimulatory effect of PTHrP on DNA synthesis in proximal tubule cells is mediated by a cAMP- and PKC-dependent mechanism.  相似文献

Cardiomyocytes subjected to brief episode of hypoxia possess a resistance to serious damaging effect exerted by a subsequent long-time hypoxia on these cells, which is called hypoxic preconditioning (PC). The pathway of intracellular signal transduction during hypoxia PC has not yet been validated. On a model of hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) of cultured neonatal rabbit cardiomyocytes, the present study is taken to investigate the changes of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and ribosomal S6 kinase (S6K) activity. It was found that intracellular total MAPK and nuclear MAPK, after a 15-min period of reoxygenation preceded by a single 60-min period of hypoxia, were increased by 95% and 230%, respectively. Intracellular S6K activity increased by 142% at 30 min of H/R vs the control group (P < 0.01). Phosphatase 1 (PPase 1) inhibitor (ocadaic acid, OA 1 mumol/L) augmented the increase of MAPK and S6K activity induced by H/R. However, tyrosine kinase (Tyr K) inhibitor (genistein), protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor (H7) and preincubation of cardiomyocytes with PKC activator PMA all reduced MAPK activation by H/R. Protein kinase A (PKA) inhibitor (H89), Ca2+/Calmodulin-dependent protein kinase (PKM) inhibitor (W7) or PPase 2a inhibitor (OA 10 nmol/L) had no significant effect on MAPK and S6K activity. The above results suggested that activation of MAPK and S6K activity during hypoxia/reoxygenation there might require participation of PKC, Tyr K and PPase 1, while PKA, PKM and PPase 2a were not involved.  相似文献

The effects of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on anoxia/reoxygenation (A/R) injury and protein kinase C (PKC) activity were studied on a model of A/R injury of neonatal rat cardiomyocytes to investigate the possibility of its using as a substrate for pharmacological preconditioning. The data indicated that bFGF improved the viability of cardiomyocytes, lowered the deplection of ATP and leakage of intracellular lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in a concentration-dependent manner. PKC inhibitor, H7, completely abolished the protective effects. It was also found that bFGF directely activated PKC in cardiomyocytes in a time course similar to that in hypoxic preconditioning. The data suggested that the protective effect of bFGF on cardiomyocyte A/R injury might be mediated by PKC.  相似文献

We examined the role of angiotensin II (AII) receptor subtypes in the regulation of hormone-stimulated cyclic AMP (cAMP) accumulation in isolated rat glomeruli. All inhibited cAMP formation induced by histamine, serotonin and parathyroid hormone, but not by prostaglandin E2 or calcitonin gene-related peptide. Angiotensin III but not the angiotensin fragments (1-7) and (3-8) also showed inhibitory activity. The inhibition of histamine-induced cAMP accumulation by AII was concentration-dependent and was absent in glomeruli isolated from pertussis toxin-treated rats. The effect of AII on histamine-induced cAMP levels was not mimicked by the protein kinase C activator, phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate, nor was the effect of AII inhibited by the protein kinase C inhibitors, staurosporine and H-7. The angiotensin II receptor subtype 1 (AT1) antagonists, SK&F 108566 and losartan, attenuated the inhibitory effect of AII on histamine-stimulated cAMP accumulation, whereas the AT2 selective antagonists, CGP 42112A, WL-19 and PD 123319, had no effect. Displacement of [125I]AII from glomerular membrane using the subtype-selective antagonists confirmed that the glomerular AII receptor has characteristics of an AT1 subtype. The results suggest that AII, through activation of the AT1 receptor, may act to maintain the contractile state of glomerular mesangial cells by attenuating the increase in cAMP levels induced by some hormones.  相似文献

We studied the role of protein kinase C (PKC) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) in epidermal growth factor (EGF)-induced prostacyclin (PGI2) production in cultured, spontaneously-beating neonatal ventricular rat cardiomyocytes. To this purpose, the effect of EGF on cardiomyocyte MAPK phosphorylation, MAPK activity and PGI2-production were investigated, and compared to those induced by the PKC activator 4 beta phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA). Both EGF (0.1 microM) and PMA (0.1 microM) induced the rapid and reversible phosphorylation of 42 KDa-MAPK in ventricular cardiomyocytes, responses that were accompanied by transient increases in MAPK activity (190-230% of control values within 5 min), and two- to three-fold increases in PGI2 formation. The tyrosine kinase inhibitors lavendustin (1 microM) and genistein (10 microM) strongly inhibited EGF-induced MAPK activation and PGI2-formation, but had no effect on PMA-stimulated responses. Experiments with the PKC inhibitor CGP 41251 (1 microM) or with PKC-downregulated cells demonstrated that in contrast to the PMA-stimulated responses, EGF-induced MAPK activation and PGI2-production were PKC-independent processes. Investigating the role of MAPK in EGF- and in PMA-promoted PGI2-formation, we found that the MAPK-inhibitor 6-thioguanine (500 microM), as well as the MAPK-kinase-inhibitor PD98059 (50 microM) abolished both EGF- and PMA-stimulated PGI2-production in cardiomyocytes. Our results indicate that MAPK-activation is at the basis of both growth factor receptor and PKC-dependent eicosanoid-formation in ventricular cardiomyocytes, where EGF-induced prostaglandin-production takes place via a PKC-independent pathway.  相似文献

We studied the effects of 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA) and protein kinase C (PKC) in a broad range of concentrations (10(-18)-10(-7) M) on lipid peroxidation (LP) in rat brain plasma membranes. TPA and PKC were shown to inhibit LP, the concentration curves had two maxima at 10(-15) M and 10(-12) M for TPA and at 10(-16) M and 10(-13) M for PKC. The combined action of TPA (10(-12) M) and PKC (10(-16) M) resulted in a synergic inhibition of LP. These data suggest PKC to have two (kinase and antioxidative) enzymatic activities. The properties of TPA as an LP inhibitor (via activation of PKC) and tumour promoter (inhibition of LP is a necessary step of tumour promotion) can be explained based on this suggestion.  相似文献

In adult mammalian cardiomyocytes, stimulation of muscarinic receptors counterbalances the beta-adrenoceptor-mediated increase in myocardial contractility and heart rate by decreasing the L-type Ca2+ current (ICa) (1, 2). This effect is mediated via inhibition of adenylyl cyclase and subsequent reduction of cAMP-dependent phosphorylation of voltage-dependent L-type Ca2+ channels (3). Little is known, however, about the nature and origin of this pivotal inhibitory pathway. Using embryonic stem cells as an in vitro model of cardiomyogenesis, we found that muscarinic agonists depress ICa by 58 +/-3% (n=34) in early stage cardiomyocytes lacking functional beta-adrenoceptors. The cholinergic inhibition is mediated by the nitric oxide (NO)/cGMP system since it was abolished by application of NOS inhibitors (L-NMA, L-NAME), an inhibitor of the soluble guanylyl cyclase (ODQ), and a selective phosphodiesterase type II antagonist (EHNA). The NO/cGMP-mediated ICa depression was dependent on a reduction of cAMP/protein kinase A (PKA) levels since application of the catalytic subunit of PKA or of the PKA inhibitor PK) prevented the carbachol effect. In late development stage cells, as reported for ventricular cardiomyocytes (2, 4), muscarinic agonists had no effect on basal ICa but antagonized beta-adrenoceptor-stimulated ICa by 43 +/-4% (n=16). This switch in signaling pathways during development is associated with distinct changes in expression of the two NO-producing isoenzymes, eNOS and iNOS, respectively. These findings indicate a fundamental role for NO as a signaling molecule during early embryonic development and demonstrate a switch in the signaling cascades governing ICa regulation.  相似文献

Ischemic preconditioning (I-PC) occurs via activation of protein kinase C (PKC). This study was undertaken to determine whether pharmacologic preconditioning by beta-adrenergic stimulation (beta-PC) is mediated by PKC activation. Isolated rat hearts were subjected to 40-min ischemia and 30-min reperfusion. Beta-PC was induced by 0.25 microM isoproterenol pretreatment for 2 min followed by 10-min normoxic perfusion. Beta-PC enhanced the recovery of rate-pressure product of the ischemic/reperfused heart (79.1 +/- 8.4% vs. 12.4 +/- 1.6% of initial for Non-PC group, n = 6) and attenuated the release of creatine kinase during 30-min reperfusion (30.2 +/- 2.2 vs. 59.8 +/- 6.1 nmol/min/g wet wt for Non-PC group, n = 6), similar to an I-PC stimulus of 5-min ischemia and 5-min reperfusion. Treatment with 50 microM polymyxin B, a PKC inhibitor, abolished the cardioprotection of both beta-PC and I-PC. Furthermore, similar changes in subcellular distribution of PKC were induced by both beta-PC and I-PC. The changes in subcellular distribution of PKC-delta suggested its translocation from cytosol to membrane fraction, a marker of PKC activation. These results suggest that the cardioprotection induced by beta-PC, like I-PC, is mediated by PKC activation.  相似文献

The clotting enzyme thrombin is known to cause receptor-mediated contractile effects in isolated blood vessels. In the present studies the influence of protein kinase inhibitors on the contractile response of porcine pulmonary arteries to thrombin (3 U/ml) was investigated. Endothelium-denuded rings (2-3 mm) from small arteries were placed in organ baths for isometric tension recording. The vessels were preincubated for 30 min with the inhibitors before inducing contractions. In the presence of the protein kinase C (PKC)-inhibitors staurosporine, BIM I (bisindolyl-maleimide I), chelerythrine and Ro 31-8220 (1 microM each), the contractile responses to the PKC activator phorbol 12,13-dibutyrate (PDBu; 50 nM) were diminished by 70-100%. However, for inhibition of thrombin-induced contractions generally higher concentrations of the inhibitors were required. Only staurosporine at 1 microM inhibited the thrombin effect by about 75%. The tyrosine kinase inhibitor erbstatin (30 microM) did not significantly alter the thrombin effect, whereas genistein at 10 microM caused a significant inhibition of contractile responses to both thrombin and PGF2alpha. At 100 microM genistein also inhibited the contractile effects of PdBu and KCl. These studies suggest that activation of both PKC and non-receptor tyrosine kinases seems to be involved in the signal transduction pathways of thrombin-induced contractile effects in isolated vessels.  相似文献

Heat stress (HS) is known to protect against mechanical dysfunction and myocardial necrosis in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion models both in vivo and in vitro. However, the mechanisms involved in this form of cardioprotection remain unclear. Protein kinase C (PKC) and tyrosine kinase activation have both been shown to be involved in the delayed phase of protection following ischemic preconditioning, a phenomenon which appears to be analogous to HS-induced protection. Therefore, we investigated the role of PKC and tyrosine kinase in HS-induced resistance to myocardial infarction, in the isolated rat heart. The selective inhibitors chelerythrine (Che) and genistein (Gen) were used to inhibit PKC and tyrosine kinase, respectively. Rats were treated with Che (5 mg/kg, i.p.) or Gen (5 mg/kg, i.p.) or vehicle before they were either heat stressed (42 degrees C for 15 min) or sham anesthetized. Twenty-four h later their hearts were isolated, retrogradely perfused, and subjected to 35-min occlusion of the left coronary artery followed by 120-min of reperfusion. Infarct-to-risk ratio was significantly reduced in HS (19.9+/-1.1%) compared to sham (43.1+/-1.1%) hearts. This reduction in infarct size was abolished in chelerythrine-treated groups (43.8+/-1.9% in HS+Che v 44.9+/-2.0% in sham+Che), but was conserved in genistein-treated groups (17.7+/-0.9% in HS+Gen v 36.4+/-2.8% in sham+Gen). In order to confirm that genistein at this dose was effectively inhibiting tyrosine kinase activity, we observed the ability of the agent to prevent the hypoglycemic responses to insulin in a separate group of anesthetised rats receiving an i.v. insulin infusion. Western blot analysis of the myocardial hsp72 showed a HS-induced increase of this protein, which was modified by neither the PKC inhibitor, chelerythrine, nor the tyrosine kinase inhibitor, genistein. We conclude that the activation of PKC, but not of tyrosine kinase, appears to play a role in the functional cardioprotection associated with the heat stress response. Although protection appears to be dissociated from induction of hsp72, further work is required to explore the importance of hsp72 phosphorylation to cytoprotective activity of the protein.  相似文献

Intestinal calcium absorption declines with aging as a result of decreased renal 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 [1,25-(OH)2D3] biosynthesis. At least part of the decline in 1,25-(OH)2D3 may be due to acquired resistance to parathyroid hormone (PTH) stimulation of renal 25-hydroxyvitamin D1-hydroxylase (1-OHase) activity. To test whether aging rats can increase 1,25-(OH)2D3 production in response to PTH, male rats of the same litter were fed a normal Ca diet and were sacrificed at 175-225 g (young rats) or 3 months later at 350-425 g (aging rats). At sacrifice, basal serum 1,25-(OH)2D3 levels (88 +/- 16 versus 49 +/- 8 pg/ml, P < 0.05) and in vitro renal proximal tubule 1-OHase activity (178 +/- 15 versus 77 +/- 5 pmol/mg protein/5 minutes, n = 6, P < 0.001) were lower in aging animals. rPTH-(1-34) (10(-11) or 10(-7) M) increased in vitro 1,25-(OH)2D3 secretion by perifused renal proximal tubules from young but not aging rats. For young and aging rats, rPTH-(1-34) (10(-7) M) increased proximal tubule cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) activity, and lower concentrations (10(-11) M) stimulated translocation of protein kinase C (PKC) activity from cytosolic to soluble membrane proximal tubule cell fractions. The results of this study show that PTH activation of 1,25-(OH)2D3 production may involve both signaling pathways, with the PKC pathway responsive to lower concentrations of the hormone. The acquired resistance to PTH stimulation of 1,25-(OH)2D3 production in aging appears not to involve the hormonal activation of PKA or PKC.  相似文献

Sphingosine and its analogs, which inhibit protein kinase C (PKC), are known to be potent inducers of apoptosis in tumor cells. However, we were concerned that sphingosine might also interfere with anti-tumor cells of the immune system. Therefore, we evaluated the effect of sphingosine on activation of human monocytes by interleukin-2 (IL-2) for killing of leukemic cells. Monocytes, purified by elutriation and adherence, were activated with IL-2 or interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) in the presence or absence of sphingosine or another inhibitor for 18 h. Then the monocytes were washed and the culture medium was replaced with fresh medium to remove the sphingosine. HL- 60 and K562 leukemic cells were added to the monocyte cultures. Over the next 48 h, the cytotoxic activity of the monocytes towards the leukemic cells was assessed by means of an 111-indium-releasing assay. IL-2-activated monocytes lysed 48 +/- 3% of HL-60 cells and 44 +/- 3% of K562 cells. Sphingosine, dihydrosphingosine, N,N-dimethylsphingosine, and the PKC inhibitor H7 inhibited the activation of monocytes by IL-2, blocking cytotoxic activity against the leukemic cells by approximately 75%. These inhibitors were not toxic to monocytes at the concentrations used. In a PKC assay, sphingosine and H7 inhibited PKC activity in IL-2-treated monocytes. Thus, sphingosines, by inhibiting PKC activity, inhibited activation of monocytes by IL-2, which inhibited the killing of leukemic cells.  相似文献

The effects of alpha1-adrenoceptor stimulation on intracellular Ca2+ transients, contractility and L-type Ca2+ current (ICa,L) were studied in single cells isolated from ventricles of guinea-pig hearts. The aim of our study was to elucidate the mechanisms of the positive inotropic effect of alpha1-adrenergic stimulation by focussing on the role of protein kinase C (PKC). Phenylephrine, an alpha1-adrenergic agonist, at concentrations of 50-100 microM elicited a biphasic inotropic response: a transient negative inotropic response (22.9+/-6.0% of control) followed by a sustained positive inotropic response (61.0+/-8.4%, mean+/-SE, n=12). The Ca2+ transient decreased by 10.2+/-3.9% during the negative inotropic phase, while it increased by 67.7+/-10% (n=12) during the positive inotropic phase. These effects were inhibited by prazosin (1 microM), a alpha1-adrenergic antagonist. Phenylephrine increased the ICa,L by 60.8+/-21% (n=5) during the positive inotropic phase. To determine whether activation of PKC is responsible for the increases in Ca2+ transients, contractile amplitude and ICa,L during alpha1-adrenoceptor stimulation, we tested the effects of 4beta-phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA), a PKC activator, and of bisindolylmaleimide I (GF109203X) and staurosporine, both of which are PKC inhibitors. PMA mimicked phenylephrine's effects on Ca2+ transients, contractile amplitude and ICa,L. PMA (100 nM) increased the Ca2+ transient, contractile amplitude and ICa,L by 131+/-17%, 137+/-25% (n=8), and 81.1+/-26% (n=5), respectively. Prior exposure to GF109203X (1 microM) or staurosporine (10 nM) prevented the phenylephrine-induced increases in Ca2+ transients, contractile amplitude and ICa,L. Our study suggests that during alpha1-adrenoceptor stimulation increase in ICa,L via PKC causes an increase in Ca2+ transients and thereby in the contractile force of the ventricular myocytes.  相似文献

In intact, but not in permeabilized, human erythroid progenitor cells, thrombin and phorbol esters potentiate cellular cAMP formation in response to Gs-coupled receptor agonists such as prostaglandin E1 (PGE1). We show here that the two agonists achieve their phenotypically similar effects by using distinctly different signaling pathways, both of which require protein kinase C (PKC) activation. After short term exposure (11 min), phorbol esters caused an alkaline shift of cellular pH by approximately 0.1 unit, resulting in a 1.5-2-fold increase in PGE1-induced cAMP formation. The effect of phorbol esters was inhibited by 5-(N-ethyl-N-isopropyl)amiloride, a specific inhibitor of the Na+/H+ exchanger, and by the PKC inhibitors GF 109203X, G? 6976, and staurosporine. Thrombin increased cellular pH by only 0.02-0.05 unit but seemed to potentiate PGE1-stimulated cAMP formation by an effect on the Gs-activated adenylyl cyclase involving a Ca2+-independent (novel) PKC. This effect was inhibited by GF 109203X and staurosporine but was resistant to 5-(N-ethyl-N-isopropyl)amiloride or G? 6976. Inactivation of PKC by incubation of the cells in the presence of 10 nM phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate for 18 hr completely abolished the potentiating effect of thrombin on cyclase activity, whereas the pH-dependent stimulation was fully retained. Northern blots with specific cDNA probes and a lack of Ca2+ sensitivity indicate that progenitor cells predominantly express adenylyl cyclase type VII. Our results suggest that in normal human erythroid progenitors, thrombin can activate pH-dependent and -independent, PKC-linked pathways converging on adenylyl cyclase type VII to potentiate cAMP formation in response to Gs-coupled receptor agonists.  相似文献

We used melanophores, cells specialized for regulated organelle transport, to study signaling pathways involved in the regulation of transport. We transfected immortalized Xenopus melanophores with plasmids encoding epitope-tagged inhibitors of protein phosphatases and protein kinases or control plasmids encoding inactive analogues of these inhibitors. Expression of a recombinant inhibitor of protein kinase A (PKA) results in spontaneous pigment aggregation. alpha-Melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH), a stimulus which increases intracellular cAMP, cannot disperse pigment in these cells. However, melanosomes in these cells can be partially dispersed by PMA, an activator of protein kinase C (PKC). When a recombinant inhibitor of PKC is expressed in melanophores, PMA-induced pigment dispersion is inhibited, but not dispersion induced by MSH. We conclude that PKA and PKC activate two different pathways for melanosome dispersion. When melanophores express the small t antigen of SV-40 virus, a specific inhibitor of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), aggregation is completely prevented. Conversely, overexpression of PP2A inhibits pigment dispersion by MSH. Inhibitors of protein phosphatase 1 and protein phosphatase 2B (PP2B) do not affect pigment movement. Therefore, melanosome aggregation is mediated by PP2A.  相似文献

S100B(betabeta) is a dimeric Ca2+-binding protein that is known to inhibit the protein kinase C (PKC)-dependent phosphorylation of several proteins. To further characterize this inhibition, we synthesized peptides based on the PKC phosphorylation domains of p53 (residues 367-388), neuromodulin (residues 37-53), and the regulatory domain of PKC (residues 19-31), and tested them as substrates for PKC. All three peptides were shown to be good substrates for the catalytic domain of PKC. As for full-length p53 (Baudier J, Delphin C, Grunwald D, Khochbin S, Lawrence JJ. 1992. Proc Natl Acad Sci USA 89:11627-11631), S100B(betabeta) binds the p53 peptide and inhibits its PKC-dependent phosphorylation (IC50 = 10 +/- 7 microM) in a Ca2+-dependent manner. Similarly, phosphorylation of the neuromodulin peptide and the PKC regulatory domain peptide were inhibited by S100B(betabeta) in the presence of Ca2+ (IC50 = 17 +/- 5 microM; IC50 = 1 +/- 0.5 microM, respectively). At a minimum, the C-terminal EF-hand Ca2+-binding domain (residues 61-72) of each S100beta subunit must be saturated to inhibit phosphorylation of the p53 peptide as determined by comparing the Ca2+ dependence of inhibition ([Ca]IC50 = 29.3 +/- 17.6 microM) to the dissociation of Ca2+ from the C-terminal EF-hand Ca2+-binding domain of S100B(betabeta).  相似文献

Differentiation of rat satellite cells, measured by cell fusion into myotubes and isozymic conversion of creatine kinase and phosphoglycerate mutase, was shown to be highly increased in the presence of 1-(5-isoquinolinylsulfonyl)-3-methylpiperazine (iso-H7). This substance inhibited both protein kinase C (PKC) and cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) activities with similar IC50 between 22 and 34 microM. Iso-H7, as well as the PKA inhibitor HA1004 increased myogenic differentiation without altering the proliferation of satellite cells, whereas the proliferation and the differentiation of these cells were inhibited by the PKC inhibitor staurosporine. Our results suggest a predominant negative control of PKA on satellite cell myogenesis.  相似文献
